La casa súper completa y debidamente equipada.
Lo único que podría señalar es que el llavín de la puerta principal estaba flojo y eso complicaba la apertura de la puerta con una sola mano.

the location of the Villa was convenient and peaceful, it fit us perfectly and it was well equipped

Spacious, luxurious house on a quiet resort with a lovely pool and gym. The house and grounds are well maintained and beautiful.
Tiny things, missed an ironing board and clothing rack to dry wet clothes

Fantastic luxury home, great pool, beautiful lake, close to the ocean, and gorgeous grounds. This resort was everything I'd hoped for and exceeded my expectations.
Leaving the property out the back entrance was a huge ditch across the intersection, it was getting dark, raining, and a warning from the security guard that drivers could only cross at the far left corner of the road would have been really nice. My 4x4 Montiero Sport bottomed out, badly, causing $280 US in damage. A little heads up would have been appreciated.

The property is very nice but remote.
Wifi was very poor. Taxi can not come on the property, it is far from everything. Beach on the property but not being used except through Marriott.

Villas are awesome, super clean.
Beach club / restaurants / gym close early at 6pm.
About 25 minutes drive from Tamarindo, where you can find supermarkets and other interesting things to do.

The house was fantastic and the pool was perfect to come home to every day after our adventures.
The house was great but it's missing a few details...perhaps think about adding a few pool toys like pool noodles, or inflatables. Having lounge chairs that go flat for sun bathing would be ideal. Plus plastic cups and plates would be perfect too. (Safer for kids and the pool area). For the beach having at least 1 boogie board would be very convenient and even sand toys (bucket and shovel). These are items that travelers don't carry with them and would be great to have in a luxury home as an amenity.

Security and gated entrance. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen came with everything we needed to make meals and grill, the private pool at our villa was excellent, housekeeping and rental staff were friendly and very helpful. They assisted us with arranging Covid tests at our villa. This is our second stay at Hacienda Pinilla and we love it.
The gravel road to the property is bumpy but that is no reflection on Hacienda Pinilla.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom in the Palma Real building. Despite emailing twice in advance of our arrival to ask for an early check in (we flew all night so arrived mid morning and check in was at 3pm) the hotel did not bend one minute to allow us in early. Instead we were sent to the beach club which has a cost of $10pp which is then credited towards food. It was a nice facility but when you have been up all night and just want to get into your room, we didn’t enjoy it as much. We did eat and the food was excellent although pricey. We got into the room just after 3pm. We had the beach club call twice before 3 to see if our room was ready and they kept saying no. We saw no one else checking in or out so I question how busy it was. Our unit was a Huge place with tons of space, 2.5 bathrooms and lots of outdoor space plus a very well appointed kitchen. Unit was a little dated but clean. I was surprised to find just a queen bed in the master given the huge size but it was comfortable enough. The property itself is gigantic and you definitely cannot walk anywhere. It’s also very far from town, about 20 min by car so you are very isolated. It’s a very bumpy drive down a pot holed dusty road from hiway to property. It’s heavily guarded. You must go through security gates to get into the main property and then again for your specific complex. We felt very safe. A few animals around the property including iguana and monkeys. We did have coffee over at the Marriott one morning and it’s a lovely property.
Very far from town. Not accommodating for early check in. Maids came in to clean and our children were still in bed sleeping. When I asked her to come back later she said that they were too busy so we had to let her in to clean while we were still getting ready for our day.

Great villa on a private property. Excellent spot for some rest and relaxation after being in the rainforest and getting wet. Washer and dryer were a big plus. The beach club was great for the kids, very friendly staff. Perfect home away from home.

It’s absolutely stunning. Beautiful homes and beautiful area.
The one thing we hate the most was the street you drive before entering hacienda Pinilla.

Besides the road coming in, which was in pretty bad condition, the place was excellent!

I arrived after hours and keys were delivered to me at the entrance of the property , pretty easy
