Friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed. Nicely decorated room.
The buffet breakfast at the club next door was very poor quality. All the cooked food tasted like oil. The pastries and pancakes had no flavour. The coffee machine was a joke, huge line to get coffee and it kept needing water to be refilled. The orange juice was sour. Just terrible.

The customer service from the front office and staff needs to be looked at and a professional customer centric focus should be enforced on to improve the handling of the clients.
The housekeeping staff were kind.

I was upgraded and had a lovely King suite. I fell sick during my stay and the room was very conducive to convalescing.
That it didn’t have a kitchen for room service. There was a club in the building that you could dine at and Uber eats of course.

Location
Check out wasn't until 10am and we had the house keeping team walk into our room at 9.15am. They realised they weren't supposed to be in our room and left but then stayed outside our room to wait for us to leave.
Very disappointing as no apology was given and our privacy was breached.

Convenient location and very clean.
Pillows were uncomfortable but there is an option to ask for another pillow selection which I didn’t see until the morning!
4.5
Didn't order Breakfast but was available in the Mercure Labour Club. Dinner was excellent as was the selection and refreshments. There was plenty of gambling pokies to play. :)
Nothing to dislike.
4.5
Very comfortable beds. Bathrooms are clean and very nicely appointed. Central location.

The location is good and very convenient to the shopping mall by walk within 10 minutes.
And there swimming pool is quite near. We enjoyed go to swimming every morning and enjoyed walking around the lake every evening.
3.5
We visited family nearby so location was convenient. Rooms good and comfortable.
Food service is only via the Club next door, which is really just a pokies venue. Better to not have any meal service that put up with a place designed for gambling.
4.5
The room was great and we had great views of the surrounding area which gave us ideas on where to explore. The bathroom was amazing. The location was awesome, within walking distance of everything. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room as our child was competing at the AIS, but it was perfect for what we needed. The staff were amazing as well.
The room was a little bit stuffy and we could only run the air conditioning to fix that. There were 2 days of really strong winds which whistled through the air conditioning vents.

Location is good, easy to find. Check in and out process fairly simple. Apartment is pretty spacious, black out blinds installed and bed is comfortable
The shower type is without the door so water can go into the bathroom.
One of the bins weren’t cleaned.

Staff, location close to places to eat
Breakfast was very average - the photos on booking.com are nothing like what was on offer. It was the only part of the stay that was really below par.
4.0
Ice machine (in basement) was very good. Great to have 2 chairs and space for 2 x laptops on the desk in our room. Bedside lighting was good. Parking availability was good. Open shelving on bedside tables was great - less chance of leaving items behind. Bathroom and shower were very good, plenty of pressure. Air-con was easy to control.
Ventilation was a bit poor - would be nicer to be able to open a window or vent (probably difficult to retrofit this though !). The amenities area (above bar fridge) was very cramped, hard to use on an extended stay.

Good place, breakfast was pleasant.
You have to pay for parking, even the hotel is far from CBD.
Gambling machines between hotel and breakfast area.

Staff were fantastic and very helpful. Unfortunately, the cleaners were subcontractors and were asked to clean the room again and they didn't.
The room hadn't been dusted or vacuum and bathroom wasn't cleaned very well.

Room was good for two (quite large with a sofa area) and our two rooms were located close together which was good for our family stay. Easy parking and hotel access. Located in a nice safe walkable area.
The buffet breakfast was awful and very expensive. Only tried it once and glad had not paid for it as part of room charge.

It was convenient to where I needed to go
I had to pay for parking, upon booking it stated that parking was available, that is one reason why we chose the accommodation. No cost was every involved or option to pay prior, so expected it was included in the price

Breakfast was a bit limited in choice and juice etc needed to be replenished. Location was excellent close to shops, restaurants and lake and walking tracks.parking was convenient and easy as was access to rooms.
Toiletries in room eg shower cap not provided.

Very clean and comfortable, great view.
Interconnected rooms not ideal as can gear guests in neighbouring room.

The hotel itself was excellent but, sadly, the breakfast let it down. It was definitely NOT a buffet breakfast. The coffee machine needed emptying, which we had to tell the attendant. The coffee wasn’t hot and not the best either. Some food okay but some half cold. I had an “upset stomach” after the meal. Much better options around the area.
Breakfast.

Love the space in the room. Very clean and great view easy parking
3.5
Convenient location for us: not too far from the restaurant where we had a family dinner and close to the way out of town towards Yass. The breakfast was very good (hard to beat a top hotel).
When arriving by car you have to park out the front for a few minutes while you go in to reception to get the parking ticket and instructions on where to drive. The Mercure uses a multi-storey car park, which is engaged to the same building. Both are serviced by the same lift. Not too bad really, but you have to drive up a few levels to reach a parking spot.
4.5
That we had a lovely comfortable bed and room.
We stayed 4 nights and went to breakfast each day. For our 2 nights stay breakfast is good, but 4 nights its a bit boring. No change to menu a bit disappointed for the price.
I myself did not like the pillows. My husband said they were great.
4.5
Clean and modern. The bed was so comfortable. Great parking.
The room needs a bigger table or desk to work from, the one in the room was too small. The two elevators were confusing as the names of each floor next to the buttons were different from one elevator to the other - amusing if anything.
4.5
Great place for stay, rooms are very spacious, kindly designed, with almost all required basic facilities, we also opted for breakfast buffet which was a great add on definitely, the hotel location is also very central, major attractions are 15-30 mins away by drive, there is a Woolworths just 2 mins walking distance and Westfield as well as a lot of eating out restaurant options! Overall it's good value for the price (although first I thought it's a bit pricey but now can vouch that it's totally worth it!!)
There isn't really anything specific that I did not like but an area of improvement possibly could be as even though it said that there were multiple types of pillows to adjust to different people's style but there was not a pillow soft enough the way I like it so that was an only uncomfy issue I can think of...
4.5
Fantastic location for my work.
