Layout and furnishings lovely
Dirty walls, carpets, sheets and old stains on sofa beds. Then they have the nerve to make false allegations of damage so they can keep the deposit.

Location
Management was not responsive to requests or complaints-generally hard to communicate with.
The apartment is in dire need of upgrades. Lousy bed, ripped carpet, dirty upholstery, broken blinds, holes on wall, dirty entrance. WiFi and tv turned off on arrival, dirty remote. Not enough kitchen supplies. Old fry pan, no oven mitts, no supplies other than pots, dishes, and silverware.

Location was excellent for our purposes… right in centre if town.
Property not secure: no outer door so rubbish blew into entrance and stairwell from street. No automatic closer in entrance door and one day somebody clearly forgot to pull it short and we returned in the evening to find a drunk, homeless person passed out in upper hall. Management company were not helpful in dealing with it and we did not have a peephole or door chain so felt trapped. Nobody called us back to confirm he’d been moved, we eventually had to look through keyhole, open door and hope for best!
Place does not have sufficient comfy seating, or dining seating, to accommodate he 6 it claims to sleep. Fine for 2!
TV/ TV remote barely works.TV. It is not connected to an aerial so only works for streaming services. Wifi is to poor to allow this! And too poor to allow much work to get done in apartment.
Place is in need of both a deep clean and a redecorate. Walls were grubby, old spills had not been wiped, furniture was stained, bedding was thin, fraying and ripped, mismatched stained towels ( we ended up buying some for our stay), dirty oven, freezer in need of defrosting within dubious stains and crumbs frozen into ice, no light in fridge which was dirty, no opening windows so stuffy, bath dusty inside and dirty bath panel, shower drain in ensuite was absolutely filthy and not draining.
Clearly the flat gets a very quick wipe over between guests so on first glance it’s clean but you soon spot that actually, it’s not.
Had we not been there on business to attend a trade fair ( so local accommodation all booked) we would not have stayed.
It was a short stay so we stuck it out and as we were working didn’t have time to spend sorting it out with management company whilst there. I contacted them multiple times and sent photos since we left and they have not responded. AVOID!

The hosts provided everything and more, very grateful. Thank you for accommodating us.
Nothing at all, everything was great!

Excellent location
Beds were quite uncomfortable due to the poor mattresses. We had to ascend 4 flights of stairs to our room, as no lift access, and we were not advised this would be the case when we booked (as we had several large, heavy suitcases). On one night it rained heavily, and the windows leaked (even though shut).

The location is good close to the bus station
The double bed needs a new Mattress. You feel like you are going to fall out all the time as the sides are flat. We got charged £30 from our security deposit due to a dirty oven. It was dirty before we used it, no means of cleaning it were available. This is a scam to get extra money from you, there were broken cups and plates when we arrived. I’m surprised they didn’t charge for them, one of the showers didn’t work. So everyone had to use our on suite shower. The stairs are a killer if you are not fit. Shower and skirting boards were dirty.

Location, amenities, cleanliness.
Blind cords too short, mattress needs replacing, too many stairs to top floor without notification of such.

Spacious and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment with a big kitchen and living space. The views are great and it was wonderful to cook and hangout in the apartment with the sun streaming in from all angles. Great sofa bed too. It was easy to manage the key in the box and as the apartment is right in town, it was easy to get everywhere.
There were no forks, knives or bowls and only 2 coffee mugs. We made do but a few additional items would have made everything perfect. The wifi is very weak and so we hot spotted instead. There aren't any hooks to hang towels and coats on, this would be useful in the bathroom and the corridor.

Worst experience I have ever had with a booking.com property, although managed by a third party, I think. Photos totally misleading, everything was shabby, poor quality, and filthy - carpet more stains than carpet, walls in most rooms covered with weird smears and smudge marks and spill marks, thin threadbare tiny towels, the whole place felt so grimy I didn’t want to risk staying and sleeping in the beds. I rang to complain as they said any damage/issues should be reported immediately or you would have to pay for them ! They asked for photos of them, I sent 10 of the worst things, they replied that is was “wear and tear” as explained in the terms and conditions (only sent AFTER you have already booked and paid for the property and are getting entry instructions), and flat out refused to refund me ANY cost of the 6 night booking. I was so upset by what was supposed to be a special treat holiday, I left and booked elsewhere and had lovely service and accommodation. I would still like a refund for a place I didn’t use at all. And I hope they took the advantage of being empty and paid for for 6 days to attend to the issues raised. They made no attempt to apologise, repair, or make up for my experience in any way. Appalling advertisement for booking.com and Harrogate.

convenient, well designed, comfortable, interesting views, good heating control with helpful additional radiator in the large lounge area. Pleasantly surprised with quality.
Struggled to keep the water in the bath! Showering facilities good though. Very hard to raise blinds as the chains are short. Still a good property!

position in centre
terribly uneven treads on stairs - windows were so draughty the blinds moved and therefore was very very cold - took ages to heat up - the wifi was non existent and unreliable which also made tv watching impossible - all the beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable- was clean tho - we left a day early

Location rather noisy - some shop alarm went off and there were joy riders on scooters after midnight
Less noise - I had to sleep with my three under fives in other room!

There are very big high windows with blinds, as they are so high you have to get a chair to stand on to open and close as the pully is very high. other than this no problems. This accommodation isn't any good for people who struggle with stairs
(especially with luggage)
Otherwise a perfect stay

The flat was well positioned in the town centre and close to amenities. Lovely set out of the flat and comfortable living areas.
We struggled with the shower dials.
