The location was perfect 🙂
Quite a few of those units need some renovations done to them, but I can understand what the people have to go through with the crazy muggy weather conditions and limited money and resources

The room was spacious and the aircon was steong and we were comfortable with our stay
Our room wasn't beachfront as advertised and the restaurant refused to serve us our free breakfast even though we arrived exactly during their "cutoff" for their free breakfast also, the faucet in below the shower was already broken

The location is perfect, very near to restaurants, and the snorkeling for turtles and sardines. The room was spacious. AC worked well, even when you left the room. Towels are replaced daily. The room is cleaned every couple of days. Staff is pleasant. Breakfast is basic but filling.
1) There is a water shortage (assuming for most of moalboal?). This can be very inconvenient when you come back from the beach and try to take a shower, and there is no running water in the shower, toilet, or sink, until the water man comes around town and fills up the tank and pressurizes it. This was a minor inconvenience for us since we are a bit more relaxed, but I could see how someone who is a bit more ... type A, may have a huge problem with this issue. No fault to the staff, I'm guessing this is an entire moalboal issue? This instance of no running water happened to us multiple times per day.
2) The wifi in the room did not work. Super inconvenient for a 5 day stay.

Locatie
Vergane glorie, badkamer is echt niet schoon. Niet goed onderhoud maar prijs is duur. Het klopt niet. Maar personeel zijn prima.

It's close to the dive shop that I used. And it's right in front of the beach where the sardine run is.
Very thin mattresses. Probably with bedbugs. Very loud aircon and not enough to cool the room. Water pressure in the toilet and bathroom is very week. The toilet also had molds. Not the cleanest property.

Fantastic value for money, especially room 24 (I stayed in 18 as well at a different date). Nice aesthetic, SUPER close to the beach, Chili's Bar, and the beach barfront in general, walkable to the main street, like other places accessible to White Beach and the south coast too, friendly and accomodating staff (although breakfast crew a little recalcitrant and slow to serve). It's the shameless bougie prerogrative to berate sullen service though! Highly recommend this place and would come here again!

The location was great, lots of places accessible by foot
Rooms are very dated, new sheets would make a huge difference.
Our water also kept turning off

It’s beside the beach. Great location!
It’s a bit dusty and it wasn’t clean…can see no wiping is done. The breakfast tastes bad it’s taste artificial especially the bacon and jam…

Close to the water
Bed bugs. I came out of a two night stay with lots of bites. Wifi does not reach rooms.

Amazing location! You walk out to the beach and can jump in to go swimming with the turtles & sardines. Super comfortable beds. Decent wifi as well. Restaurant out front has good food. Quiet and close to shops / restaurants.
You only are given a sheet (no duvet / blanket), but the AC was by the door and not directly blowing on you so it was okay. AC unit older so it was noisy / not remote adjustable. Bathroom was standard for SE Asia style.
2.5
Easy access to snorkeling & diving spots and plenty of diving stores around.
Thin mattress, hard pillows, the cleanliness of the room & pool could have been better, breakfast was only okay... AC and fridge was old and loud..

I really don't have high standards when it comes to hotels, but this room was just disgusting. There was mold all over the walls, the appliances were rusty and everything was dirty. The bedsheets had stains and the bathroom sink was clogged with hair from previous guests. This place needs to be renovated. Plus, they charged double the price I paid for the last hotel in moalboal. I don't recommend going there!!
2.5
Accomodating and friendly staff. Location is very near Sardines run
Facilities are old and outdated. Foul smell at the front door. Itchy beds. Panagsama beach is very far from Moalboal White Beach

The location couldn’t have been better and the ambience of the property was ideal. The courtyard was filled with beautiful plants and the fish filled sea was a stone throw away. Perfect spot for snorkel enthusiasts.
Overall the accommodation was comfortable, however, the mattresses were sponges and fairly thin so they could do with an upgrade. Water supply was temperamental when we first arrived but became consistent after the second day.

The reception staff was very nice and helpful.
The breakfast was included.
There is free drinking water, kettle and instant coffee in the room.
Towels were changed daily.
The room looked like it was only superficially cleaned for a long time.
The "garden view" were cars parked right outside the window.
The shower pressure was terrible to the point were it once stopped working.
The pool is in the sister resort and you have to walk through the main street to get there (it is a fairly short walk but you have to get dressed for it). Anyway the pool area is unfortunately uninviting, it is concrete, i havent seen any sunchairs and it is just next to the restaurant.
It is not a terrible place but it just did not meet my expectations.

Traditional breakfast was great, free included breakfast is on a separate menu but was fresh and tasted good. Balcony and view were good, location was perfect and the best feature being close to everything. Hot showers were also nice.
The bed was not the most comfortable but by local standards it was good. Roosters out back on neighbouring property started to wake you up early and they could get loud, however roosters are everywhere in the area so this is just something to maybe bring ear plugs for.
2.0
The staff at the restaurant and the one cleaning our room were accommodating.
The receptionist, didn't bother to call someone to assist us. The hot shower was not working properly at first, the electric kettle was not working we had to change it twice for replacement. The only good thing was the breakfast and the location. But it does not meet the value of money.

Nothing!
Never come. The old lady at the reception desk was very unfriendly. The room was sandy and the breakfast was terrible.
3.0
I like the location, the beach, the pool, the bars and restaurants are all walking distance. The staff are sweet and giving very good customer service.
The food in the restaurant needs improvement. Dirty pool.
3.0
The staff are super nice. The location is great, front beach, near restaurants and bars.
The food is not so good in the restaurant.
3.5
Great location by the beach.
Washroom was not clean. Rest of room was good just dusty. Bed was clean. Bucket in the shower to catch the leaking shower head for some reason.
3.5
Rooms are located in a number of locations but the main restaurant/reception area is right on the beach. Makes a great place to base yourself for the day.
Also perfect location for the sardine run snorkeling.
Staff all very pleasant and helpful.
Accommodation (we had a garden view room) is very tired, probably 80's era built. Incredibly noisy fridge and Aircon that we had to turn off but the fan was good! As such it is overpriced for the what you get but Moalboal is packed so was best of a limited supply when we booked
