About this villa rental
The Blue Door on Church Street is the perfect home for your Maui adventures. Get out of the hectic hotel zones and experience Hawaii in relaxed, luxurious accommodations. We are nestled below beautiful I'ao Valley in historic Wailuku Town. Walk to shops, restaurants, coffee, yoga, theatre, food trucks, and more. A short drive from I'ao Valley, Whole Foods, beaches, the MACC, and only 15 min from the airport. Marvel at views of Haleakala from the deck and sleep deeply on new Nectar mattresses.
The Blue Door is a 1930's plantation home which has been meticulously renovated to create an unforgettable experience for you and your guests. This is a large home with three separate accomodations options in the home. This listing is for our two-bedroom. All accommodations on property are very private. We are centrally located on Maui, which means that all the island has to offer is at your fingertips! This 2 Bedroom villa includes parking for 2 vehicles. There is a King Nectar mattress in one bedroom and a Queen in the other. There is a pull-out Sofa in the Living room. We offer a concierge service to help you make the most out of your time.
There is an infrared sauna on property for your enjoyment (it is shared with the other guests who may be staying on the property). Please treat our other guests and neighbors with Aloha by being mindful of noise levels after 9pm :-)
Our team will be available to ensure your trip goes smoothly.
Our concierge service is at your disposal to help book activities, restaurants, and to ensure you are getting the most out of your precious time on our island.
Historic Wailuku is convenient and a lot of fun. Walk to Wailuku Coffee Company or Maui Juice Co to grab your morning beverage before heading out for your adventures. Hike the Waihe'e Ridge, explore I'ao Valley, or check out the historic Ka'ahumanu Church, built in 1876! See what's playing at the historic (and haunted) 1920's I'ao Theatre, and head to dinner at 808 on Main or the HI Thai Food truck, all within a short walk. Grab a high-end tropical drink at the Esters Fair Prospect, hear live music at the Way Bar. Drive to Hana for the day, check out the shops and beaches of Paia, head up to Haleakala for the sunrise, or zip out to old Lahaina town... the central location makes it all possible.
While there is a lot within walking distance, a car is recommended to get the most out of your island experience.
We cannot accommodate more than five people (including kids!) at a time in this space. Please keep occupancy of this unit at or below 5.
Note: Guests must sign the lease agreement (sent by email) before checking in to the property, or their reservation may be cancelled.
Thank you and we hope to see you on Maui soon!

The property and location are good for getting away from the more crowded areas of Maui. Easy access to local shops, eateries, and recreation. Cleanliness of property was ok. While dealing with some insects was not completely unexpected, regularly finding roaches in the bathroom and kitchen area was an issue. Even inside of the refrigerator. Overall a decent stay, aside from the pests.
