Great property. Accommodated our family very well. The views of Tucson and the mountains were AMAZING! Wonderful memories

El Mirador is a very special place where one can enjoy sweeping views of the city and mountains augmented by a kaleidoscope of constantly changing sky patterns that continue to swirl through my head almost a week after the time had come to say good-bye. The night time views are especially mesmerizing with the city lights twinkling in the distance. I took so many pictures and videos of the skyline from the veranda there that I literally had to upgrade my iCloud account to save them all!

This house is incredibly clean and has great proximity to downtown and the U of A. It looks so much better in person than in the photos. Perfect for several couples, and families.
Hoping it is available for our next stay!

This stay really gives you a great view of the city...literally and in the hyperbolic sense! We loved the views and were glad to be just a few feet away from the many things that this city has to offer. We were even visited by a future nature friends (wildlife) while we were there. A mix of both worlds... <3

The house is amazing. The house and view were better than the pictures. The house had everything we needed and more. The home was a great place to relax after a long day of working in the area. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was spacious. The patio had an amazing view and was a relaxing area. The host(s) were very helpful. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. If I am every in the area working, I would definitely stay if it is available.

Loved the view!
Thank you for our wonderful stay. The southwestern style home is beautiful, clean and has absolutely the best views of downtown and the Catalina foothills. The nights lights are breathtaking. Enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and fun pottery dinnerware. Looking forward to our next visit to Tucson and definitely would stay here again.
The property manager, Tammy, was very helpful with answers for TV connection. Thank you!

Excellent Location & Fabulous House
We had an amazing time at this property. The views from the patio are stunning and it's nice to be so close to downtown Tucson, yet in such a peaceful area. The house was extremely spacious. Kitchen was well-stocked and everything we needed was there. The owners were very attentive during our pre-stay process and provided lots of great info on the area. We would definitely come back and stay here again!

The Photos Don't Do It Justice
El Mirador is even more beautiful and functional than the listing demonstrates. We loved it, and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend it.

Great place to bring the family
Two daughters, a son-in-law and two grandchildren joined us for a nice stay here. Barely got in off that wonderful terrace overlooking the city and the mountains. Kids wouldn't get out of the hot tub. Very nicely appointed and clean. Very accessible.

Lovely Home
Perfect home retreat for our adult family which offered space for communal as well as private activities. Easy access to downtown and Hwy10 and a hike up to Sentinal Peak. The only negative is the interstate noise when using the beautiful deck and hot tub.
Suggestions for the owners: A few extra sets of white towels in the laundry room would be nice; ironing board rubber feet fall off, a bit difficult to set up; kleenex in bathrooms would be nice; dry measuring cups and spoons would make cooking meals easier; throw rug in TV area tends to wrinkle a bit, eating a tripping hazard- would suggest removal; front hallway rug has a corner that keeps popping up. Note, these are not complaints, just suggestions. We all enjoyed our week-long stay in your beautiful home. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Unbelievable Views!
This views from this home are fantastic! 180 degrees of pure wonder! Saw one of the most fabulous sunrises we have ever seen! The house is spacious and very private! Only downside is that sound travels well up the valley so if not used to city noise, may not be for you. No problem for us, however. Would definitely stay again.

More Spacious Than We Imagined
Our group of seven all agreed this rental exceeded our expectations with its comfy beds, large and well appointed kitchen (where we cooked nearly all of our meals), plenty of hot water for all of us, charming and tasteful decorating details, and the hot tub with an outstanding view of downtown Tucson. Because the tub is situated at the north end of the house and next to undisturbed natural desert it felt very private. We spent most of our time in the home because it was so lovely that we could hardly tear ourselves away to explore the area. The kitchen table had plenty of space for us to play dice and dominos and the formal dining area comfortably seated all of us for our dinners. Watching movies in the evening was another pleasure for this group of oldsters and everyone had a comfy place to sit. The view is phenomenal and it is a short driving or walking distance to the charming Mercado San Agustin where we would park and then take the street car to access 4th Avenue shopping and downtown Tucson. The home is much more spacious than the images show and everyone was able to find quiet spots to be alone when they needed or to work remotely via the 5G network. The concierge service was outstanding, too, and Tammy promptly had a technician come to solve a brief problem we were having with the thermostat. We all agreed that this rental was an absolute gem. Even the most "pickiest" among the group was absolutely charmed with everything about our stay here and had no complaints about anything. Our celebration of turning 70 this year and knowing each other for over fifty years was made all the more special and memorable because of our week-long stay in this lovely space.

Thanksgiving in Tucson
We stayed in the home for Thanksgiving week 2021. It was a trip 18 months in the making thanks to the pandemic, and it was everything we hoped for. The house is spectacular, with views from almost every room looking out over the city and surrounding mountains. Day and night were both beautiful. The home is very well equipped, particularly the kitchen, so cooking was a joy. We had 3 generations with us and the house provided plenty of spaces to both gather and have privacy. The property managers, Tammy and Tatiana were extremely kind, helpful and responsive. This trip was bittersweet due to the fact that my stepmother is in the last stages of a battle with cancer, and this was the last family gathering we will ever have with her. It was easy to care for her and provide what comfort we could because the home is so well appointed and comfortable. Tammy was able to assist with a late check out to accommodate everyone's travel plans, and did so graciously. I cannot emphasize enough the comfort and beauty of the home and the kindness of the hosts. There were fresh baked treats from a local Mexican bakery and a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival, and a very lovely note from the owners. I cannot think of anything that could have improved on this stay other than if everyone had been healthy. I recommend this home to anyone, especially families, looking for a memorable and comfortable respite from everything we have all been through the last 2 years. Thanks Tammy for everything. We very much hope to be back for another stay.

Beautiful house on the hill
Our family stayed in this beautiful house while visiting Tucson for our nephew's wedding. It is sparkling clean, has a great floor plan, very comfortable beds,
and the view is amazing. The hot tub was an added treat. One of our best VRBO experiences.

The Ultimate
Seriously, in Tucson look no place else. The memories on the veranda overlooking the lights of downtown make the the ultimate premier spot in Tucson. Cool breezes coming up the hillside, incredible.
We WILL be back and give recommendations of the highest regard.

Perfect location with awesome view of the city
Our three-couple group found "El Mirador" to be even better than the pics and descriptions. It was perfectly located for our guys to play golf courses in all four directions from the house, while the ladies were close to downtown shops. It seemed that we were in a quiet, isolated area, yet there was the city right in front of us. The house was in perfect condition, beautifully furnished, and with a kitchen well equipped for our group to cook and enjoy private meals overlooking the city. Loved it, and hope to return to this Tucson gem.

Great rental with Amazing views of downtown and mountains
This was one of the best rentals we've had. House was spacious, well stocked, and had a large patio to relax and take in the amazing views of the city lights and mountains. Being on a hill, you could hear the sounds of the city (train, traffic, etc.), but, overall not too bad. Once heard the train in middle of night from master, but, kids did not hear antything in their rooms on back side of house. Also took advantage of being close to JW Marriott Star Pass using resort pools and lazy rivers (via pass we bought through ResortPass.com). Would stay here again.

Incredible house with an incredible view
We had such a wonderful stay! It's a beautiful house perched up on the hillside with Tucson's most amazing view. We didn't want to leave—you could spend the whole day taking in the scenery. 10/10 would recommend.

Fabulous Mirador
Mirador was a fabulous place that overlooked Downtown Tucson. It was very accommodating. My family enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning and the evenings to watch the sunrise and sunset. We really appreciated all the roomiest we had to get around. We never felt cramped. My wife especially appreciated the appliances and cooking utensils. I was thankful for the internet and the smart TVs! It's definitely a great place to stay while enjoying Tucson and the surrounding deserts. Thank you!
