Alles in allem - sehr gut und empfehlenswert.

Die Lage ist super. Da es ein Apartement ist, wäre es toll, wenn zur Küchenausstattung auch Grundnahrungsmittel wie Oel/Essig, Salz gehören würde.

Da wir - wie verlangt - mitteilten, wann wir ankommen würden, waren wir etwas enttäuscht, niemanden vor Ort anzutreffen. Wir mussten anrufen und dann auf Sonia warten.

Loved it , accommodation in fantastic location . Stresa is fantastic and area stunning .

Spacious , clean and great . Comfortable bed and met by a lovely lady Sonia who was very helpful and pleasant as my.

Couldn’t get the air con to work , but didn’t follow it up as we did not need it. A toaster would be good for breakfast . Otherwise really nice.

Very cental apartment close to ferry, restaurants and supermarket.

Location was excellent. Very clean apartment with lovely view of the hills.

booked an apartment with sofa bed as travelling with my grandson. Did not expect to pay 20 euros extra, to make up the sofa bed on arrival. As well I do not think that 4pm is acceptable for check in and 10 am for check out. We did manage to stay a little longer after asking as out train did not leave until 1pm.

Convenient Stresa stay

Very compact apartment. Convenient to bus/ train and city centre. Missing a couple of basics and a bit difficult to communicate with the owners. Lucky they use Google translate. Had to message for wifi password. Needs a manual to give some information about property and what to do in Stresa and surrounds.

Fabulous apartment, great location.

The apartment is fantastic. It’s very spacious for a couple, and in a great location. It is secure and has everything you need to cook at home. There’s a supermarket just around the corner too, and it’s an easy walk to plenty of restaurants, and to all the sites. I would definitely stay here again.

You need to proactively communicate with the host before you arrive. Unfortunately, I didn’t do this, and there was no information about how to get into the apartment. When we arrived and still hadn’t heard, I rang the number. The host does not speak English so we had to find a local person to talk to her on out behalf. We then had to wait a few hours before she could meet us. This was the only hitch to an otherwise very pleasant stay.

Super clean, modern, spacious, and a FANTASTIC location.

The apartment was immaculate, super clean. Location was FANTASTIC: 1 min walk to the grocery store, 3 min walk to gelato & pizza and street vendors, 4 min walk to the Post Office and the cash machine, 5 min walk to the Promenade on Lake Maggiore! The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few evening meals, and all our breakfasts. The whole place was modern and uncluttered, with plenty of space for our luggage (and lots of shelving to unpack our clothes), and provided a great space for hanging out, eating meals, and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, reading or watching the sun set and the moon rise... We loved the delicious coffee from the Nespresso machine (both coffee pods and tea bags were available for us). We also appreciated the extra umbrellas that were provided, because we had one very rainy day -- but we were still able to enjoy walking around the town. The air conditioning was an added luxury, because it was very hot during our visit.

An excellent location - in the middle of the city center, 5 min walking distance to everything. Good breakfast opportunities - buy something in nearby grocery shop, have light breakfast in the patisserie around the corner, have full breakfast in the nearby hotels. Full equipped kitchen. An apartment has a good access - just few steps until an elevator. Well protected - 3 door keys from house entrance till apartment. The house owners were very friendly, they met us on arrival, helped with free parking (giving some tips).

Bath accessories (shampoo, body soap) were practically absent. We learned it was typical from such places as people are expected to bring them from home. It was not our case for long distance travelers. Expected is "hotel" like service - bath accessories for few days.

Need to sort out something better for key handover. Multiple confirmations is extremely irritating

Clean self catering apartment in a nice central location. Good value for what we paid. It was very good to have our own fully equiped kitchen as it was a nice break from constantly eating out. Everything was super clean.

We had to confirm out arrival time about 5 times. We advised the arrival time of the ferry that we intended to catch. As we got on the ferry we confirmed that we had caught the ferry as advised. We confirmed that the arrival time was the same as advised previously. All this confirmation did not result in someone meeting us at the door to let us in. When we were at the door, we had to ring again to advise that we were there. Then we had to wait about 40 minutes for the lady to let us in....I appreciate that some people do not turn up - BUT how many times do you have to confirm ?

Stresa is a lovely place for a few days

very clean and had everything you needed . Sonia was very helpful and our plane was delayed until very late in the early morning, she met us at the apartment at 04.00 . excellent service

Excellent Location and well maintained apartment.

Location superb, 10 minutes walk from train station and 5 minutes to the lake. supermarket just around the corner. It was a very clean apartment and Sonia was exceptionally helpful.

Sonia (and Google translator) was fantastic😀Spotless and 1 minute from everything. Quiet. Could ask for nothing more.

Close to everything. Well equipped apartment.

Few issues with wifi. First night problem with hot water and aircon however due to the high temperatures at the time this may have been due to load shedding.

Great location and clean apartment. The host was easily accessible. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect

The apartment is very clean, well located in the city center and offers all the small things normally found in a hotel: coffee, tea, soap. If you intend to use the couch as a bed, you should inform the host prior to your arrival. Communication with the host was prompt and efficient.

Great stay

The flat is bright and offers ample space. The host is helpful, kind and made my stay really good. There is nothing to complain about. A perfect central stay near the lake.
