Quiet location
Lacking in furniture, not enough seating for the numbers it can accomondate, uncomfortable beds, broken glass outside on the floor, rusty garden furniture. Not enough crockery for the numbers

It’s not an apartment it’s a house. I can’t really say anything that I particularly liked about the property. It was dirty but we were able to do cook dinner and watch tv
The house was filthy. It exactly look like they hadn’t been in to clean between us and the people who stayed before. Sunbeds will made someone, but all of them are dirty and hairy. The toilet seat had congealed during all over it. When I lifted the chopping board off the side, there was food that was an hour is stuck underneath it, meaning that the counters hadn’t been cleaned. It was evident to us that they hadn’t been in include between us and the people before us, which is disgusting.

How quick the owner resolved the issue of having double booked
We received a call to inform us that the original apartment in backeorth had been double booked so the owner quickly arranged to place us in the penthouse apartment in the city centre. The apartment itself was ok but not up to a standard you would expect for a penthouse. For a penthouse you would expect top of the range the only reason it’s called penthouse is that it is on the top floor. Definitely needs a refurbishment but overall the beds were clean and comfortable which is a big plus

Very spacious house offering 2 good sized bedrooms, a good single, decent lounge space and fantastic kitchen / diner space. We were on a work trip, so it's location was ideal being set in a fairly quite village! Will be using again...Thankyou

Was moved to another property in North Shields with no notice!
property was horrible
smelt damp! boiler only worked intermittently! tired worn out furniture! mismatch crockery and had to wash before use! not very clean at all! only a thin blind at the bedroom window with street light shinning right through! only street parking that looked very dodgy and had to pay for parking which wasn’t told about

We like the location to access to shops and places.
No hot water in the kitchen sink or in the bath. Uncomfortable sofa to sit on. Not enough cutlery and plates even for a family of 5. Not enough of kitchen equipment. Electricity power cut off so we had to wait 2 hours for someone to come to fix it. Not enough towels. Bathroom stinks of rotten sewage and we can't even have a bath or bath my kids as they don't like shower. Too noises at night for 2 years old to be able to sleep through the night. Lack of communication with owners.

Location at the one at North Shields
The actually places (as they split my party in two apartments around 10 mins walk from one and other where in the original booking we would have been next to each other) were nice whoever were not cleaned and one of them was full of dirty bedding and towels left there perhaps from previous stays.
We were supposed to stay at the site advertised in the website but apparently they were flooded and so we got a new location in South Shields however I had to chase the company as no one has told me where I was going to stay and no one was even aware that I had a booking. They also pushed you to talk to them through a what’sapp number rather than making it official through the booking messaging system.
I managed to get a call back from someone and they told me I had not paid for my stay at all and wanted payment. I explained the situation and eventually after a few hours they replied to me.
After arriving to a property that was dirty and not cleaned and like I said with no bedding and not enough cutlery or kitchenware for the amount of people it was meant for . We managed to have things delivered to us.
On day 5 of our stay the electric and gas was cut off and nothing worked for the whole day , people refused to speak to me and ignored my calls and messages and for a day we could not shower or cook and our food from the fridge was gone.
Apparently owner of the company needed to top up the smart meters and had not done so, and some time around 5 pm after begging one of the representatives to help me as night was coming - finally someone topped up remotely - there was no need to even come to the property at all.
At this point I had panicked and communicated with booking who was then leasing with the owner of the property and kindly asked for a refund of at least a day as we could not even shower to go out and lost reservations we had for other things . They turned the offer down and told booking that the maximum refund they would do is £20.

Turned up at the address we were supposed to. Got sent to another house for 1 night which didnt have enough bedrooms. 1 of us had to sleep on the floor. This was deemed to be worth £500 by the chap running it. Avoid this man.

our first booking cancelled on the day, left untill 4.30 before supplying new option for stay which was in all farness a nearer property to working location. we only needed 1 night when re-located.

The kitchen ceiling was missing in part, there wasn’t enough cutlery, plates etc, the pans were burn and in poor condition, the front garden was full of rubbish. The central heating needs looking at makes loud vibration type noises, air in the system ??

Rude man Chris from Backworth hung up on me twice in complaint. I needed to be in Whitley Bay and was forced to accept alternative accommodation as I was 8 hour journey home. He ruined my holiday with his blaming approach not recognising the additional stress of my friend bring isolated in a hotel on first night with severe mental health issues and having an autistic daughter I begged my friend in Whitley Bay to keep to assist his booking of 3 adults for one night only. He double booked us and then said it was for the week after staying in a really rubbish room with no ventilation. This was so bad I struggled with my asthma and panic due to heat. It was like a greenhouse. Both accommodations were filthy and strange guests arriving to the last property claiming they were booked and various cleaners I spoke to. Trying to relax on holiday became midweek and having no lock on bathroom door upstairs wasn't great. I refused the property as my boyfriend is at high risk of falls and is having an MRI today with assumed psoratic arthritis so 3 storey narrow tread stairs meant he really got stranded on top floor too often. The window all locked in hot weather in property also ment he could overheat and get tachycardia easily.
Spent too much time driving too and fro in toll Tyne tunnel to ferry my daughter to not miss out on seeing her friends as promised for her 14th and also stressful experience in rush hour that I booked north of River to avoid as not regularly using these roads.
He said he would reimburse costs of this inconvenience. I expect a full refund and I did feel nobody was available with booking.com in an emergency where I felt homeless in effect. On top of this my boyfriend has been burgled whilst away and devistated and the people are arrested so the latter part of the week was ruined too.
