Host was very communicative. House was perfect for our family to stay while in the middle of moving. I really appreciated the high chair and pack and play for our infant!

We were in the Washington DC area for a few days with our family and this was a great spot. It was a short drive into DC for the tourist spots and was a quiet neighborhood where we could relax and sleep in. Will definitely consider staying here again for a future visit to DC.

Delightful location and property. Easy access to DC. Clean and comfortable.

We had a great stay at this lovely home. It was in a quiet, hilly neighborhood close to DC. The kitchen was well-equipped for our breakfasts and a dinner. We used both Uber and our own cars to get in & out of the city. The rooms met our needs very well.

The property was a perfect location, we not only visited Washington DC, we went to locations in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Omar was very responsive when we needed him upon arrival. Overall the property was very nice.

The house was just as advertised. It was clean and had everything we needed as a base for our DC excursions.

The townhouse was in a great location. We were close to all the sights and tourist attractions DC has to offer. The townhouse was also very clean and well stocked. The beds were the only issue we had with the townhouse. They were very uncomfortable. The mattresses definitely need an upgrade.

Everything I searched for was really close by....in town for a memorial service and found everything exactly as described and it was perfect for my visit. Thanks so much!

We loved our stay here in Shirlington! It is close to shops and transit and the neighborhood is quiet and nice. We will stay here again when we visit DC. Thanks, Omar!

The property has been well maintained and updated. My family and I had everything we needed even down to a hair diffuser, lol! Whole house was nicely stocked. Bed were ok but not super uncomfortable. My 10yo son didn’t enjoy the Pooh theme bedroom but after walking all day he was happy to have a room. A few things that were alarming 1. The neighbor a couple of doors down was smoking something that definitely wasn’t legal and my kids was smelling it. 2. The alarm system is in the master bedroom and every time my husband went to work out at 5or6 in the morning it would ding waking me up. Not a big deal more annoyance. Omar was very kind and called us when the power went out due to very high winds to check on us. We appreciated that! It was nice to take our dogs and plenty of sidewalk and grass to let them stretch their legs. We would definitely come back to stay!

The purpose of our trip was to see the sights. The house is just 15 minutes from all the major sights in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is equipped with appropriate cooking tools and the bathrooms have plenty of supplies. Beds are comfortable and the WiFi is speedy. The stairs were a little rough on my elderly parents and the house itself is on a substantial hill, which is not seen in the photos. With only one TV our down time meant negotiating the shows. In general our week stay was comfortable is a quiet neighborhood.

We loved the proximity to Shirlington! Easy walk to all that it offers...nice backyard for our little rescue pup. The house was very warm during the recent cold temps!

Omar was an excellent host. We found this townhome a great fit for our family of five. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils to cook with, etc. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Thank-you Omar!

The floors and place were clean. But sadly, and I do understand somewhat, we found 5 dead field mice under the stove (a trap was sticking out from under the stove with one dead mouse - when we pulled it out there were four more. There maybe were more under the frig, we decided not to pull out the trap that was there.
I text the owner I believe. They said they would let the pest company know right away. They didn't apologize or anything. Never saw anyone from the pest company while I was there.
Because of the situation, we didn't use the kitchen at all to cook.
On a positive note, the beds were comfortable.
Dead field mice are just not something I wanted to deal with on a vacation. Yeck.

I was really happy with this choice of property. This was a family trip, and we wanted the ability to spend some time in as close as possible to a home setting. The main bedroom had plenty of space for a couple; the second bedroom and the single bedroom were smaller, but had adequate storage. Hot water for the showers was plentiful. The kitchen was well-equipped, and all appliances worked well. I liked being able to use the large capacity washer/dryer in the garage.
Communication with the owner, Omar, was easy, and he kindly left some sodas and snacks for us to find on arrival.
This is a "real" neighborhood, not a tourist destination, so unless you are willing to walk half a mile to conveniences like a supermarket or a coffee shop, you will need transportation. We got supplies from Harris Teeter, ate at the restaurants on N. Campbell in Shirlington, occasionally took an Uber to the National Mall, and ordered food in. This worked really well for us, and allowed us to maximize the time we spent together. I would stay at this property again without hesitation.

This is my first Vrbo experience in this area, so I don't have a reference point. But overall we had a very nice stay at this place. The house was very clean. Check-in process was a breeze. It is good option for 4-5 smaller-than-average adults who are just looking for a basic home base to spend the night. I would definitely not say this place is spacious or luxurious. The mattress (2 full-size, 1 twin-size) are on the soft side. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area. It's not very well-lit at night, so I wouldn't walk outside after dark. A car is essential to getting around, which was fine with us.

Pros:
- good central location for sightseeing and food
- quiet area
- easy to get to
Cons:
- thermostat is downstairs so the upstairs got stuffy and warm at night, upstairs vents just didn't seem to push much cool air
- thermostat was off when we arrived, house was 86 degrees and stuffy and took 3 hours to cool down (see above for the feedback on the second story HVAC issues)
- the showers are small. I'm 6' 1" 200lbs and barely had room to turn around. It was fine for the time we were there, but was pretty cramped.
otherwise was as described, kitchen had everything we needed for the time (6 days) we were there; the house was clean and everything worked.

Family trip to DC
We had an amazing time and it was a plus to have such a clean and beautiful house to relax in after sightseeing all day . Super close to grocery store and other amenities that were needed and only a 10 min drive into the DC area Lincoln memorial area.. the stairs were never the fun part to walk into after walking all day haha but you started and ended your day with a stair workout lol … overall it was a 20/20 rating

OK but… Too vertical, a little tight with amenities.
It’s as if the owner Googled “what are the Bare Necessities of a property rental” and then subtracted one from each category. There is one towel per person, no spare beddings anywhere (I need to sleep on the couch because I am restless and ended up sleeping underneath a couch pillow), two washcloths for the entire house, and a very limited supply of silverware. No dish towels. The house was functional, but very, very vertical with stairs made of slick hard woods. While all the stairs were lit, one misstep and you’ve had it. It was on the verge of unsafe. The property was clean, the instructions were clear, but maybe I’m getting too old for so many steep steps. Last, the twin bed in the room decorated for little kids is quite uncomfortable. The other beds were better.

Great rental in a nice, convenient Arlington neighborhood
Great property. I would highly recommend it for people who want to stay in Arlington with parking for two or even three cars, comfortable house, walking distance from grocery shopping and a number of restaurants. Nearby walking trails. Convenient access to 395. The house was nicely furnished and well-stocked with everything you need, including a basket of snacks upon arrival which is a nice touch on the part of the owner!

Terrible and Stressful
The house was dirty, the bathrooms were filthy with soap left from previous guests that had pubic hair on the soap. Sheets unwashed, cupboards with food crumbs inside, food droplets on cupboard doors, dirty baseboards, shower curtain liner with mold and soap scum etc
Host encouraged me to wash the sheets and clean the dirty house. Cameras are inside the property as well. I arrived at 6:30pm and left immediately the next morning, after. Demanding my money back.
I ended up having to get a hotel for the remainder of my stay.
Extremely stressful and will Never use VRBO again
They do not regulate the properties.
The host did eventually return a portion of my money after much threatening of legal action.

Great location
We came up to NoVa to do some biking on area trails and this was a great location. The garage was an added bonus. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and clean house. Will stay again.
This was a perfect location home for us visiting family in Arlington and close to DC attractions. The house was clean and had all the things needed for our stay. Their hospitaltiy basket was a sweet gesture too. It was nice to have the room we needed for 5 of us and our small dog. We will stay again.

Vacation in Washington
We were very satisfied with the accommodations. The only negative is that they could use new pillows, but that is my opinion and other people may like them, otherwise the stay was great.

Great place for family gathering
This was one of the cleanest VBROs we have stayed in. It worked really well for our family as were all adults. The neighborhood was quiet and close to everything we wanted to see on our visit.

Washington DC Trip
Good accommodations for the price! If you have knee problems note the steep stairs from garage to first floor and again to the second floor bedrooms. The place was well stocked with towels and soaps, and most kitchen supplies. I would recommend that the owner add some wash cloths to the bathrooms, and some dish cleaning towelettes to the kitchen. A set of kitchen measuring cups would also have been appreciated. Lots of good restaurants close by and easy access to freeways. Overall a good stay.

Convenience in Arlington
My husband and I visited our daughter who lives in DC, and works in Arlington. The neighborhood was super quiet. Omar’s place was so convenient to The Village at Shirlington. I walked to the store every day. My husband and I walked to dinner one night. We also had massages in the village. It was so charming. Rental bikes were close but we didn’t have time to use them. Omar’s house was clean and well stocked. We cooked many meals at home. Omar was easy to communicate with and worked with us when we needed to adjust our check out time. We would definitely stay here again.
