We really enjoyed the apartment and its location

This was a great location. The view was very pretty overlooking the bay. The size of the condo was perfect for 2 couples traveling together.

Positive: location, cleanliness except for mold. The manager at the apt. was kind. Near good restaurants.
Negative: windows were fogged up with moisture, things broken: coffee maker, ironing board, wifi would not allow our laptop to be used.
Suggestions: washcloth, paring knife,
We left a day early because of the moldy smell and lack of wifi support. The wifi was intermittent for the phone.

Loved the space in this apartment. Location was great.

Great location right on the water. Walking distance to town.

Great location with a beautiful view. Walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Would stay again in the future.

Brilliant location , however the property overall is looking and feeling like it needs some investment. The seals on most of the windows had gone and the patio door was awkward to lock, so early morning traffic on the road outside served as an unwanted alarm clock. Most of the bathroom fittings were old and chrome gone from the sink holes and back to brass. Next time in Galway will be in different accommodation

Great location and easy to walk around convenient

The locale is superb, within walking distance of the towns restaurants and pubs. The apartment overlooks the sea and swimming for those brave souls is easily possible across the road. Walks along the promenade are great.

The apartment appears to have been built as a short-stay. The kitchen had everything we needed. We ran short of toilet paper, dishwasher soap and laundry supplies were not included for the one piece washer-dryer. Would stay here again.

Salthill is a little town by itself and provides the perfect base to either stumble into Galway city center (7 min by bus or 30 min walk) or jump into the car and go hiking. 2 supermarkets, great pubs, perfect jogging course and if you are brave, go swim in the ocean!

Great location, great view and great setup. However, the smell from the master bathroom was like sewer gas/chemical odor and made sleeping difficult both nights.

A perfect spot to explore Galway and the surrounding area! Exactly as pictured online with huge bedrooms and a fantastic deck overlooking the sea. We walked the promenade in the evenings and caught Ubers into town to listen to music. Cannot recommend this enough and would use it again!

The property was bare bones. Few towels, no wash clothes and one kitchen towel. Couldn’t find the hair dryer. The view was spectacular but right below us was a busy bus stop and traffic all night which gave us sleepless nights.

What a great place! Clean, beautiful view, comfortable, quiet. Couldn’t ask for more and we will be back!!! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Salt Hill location with ocean views. We'll be back.

Our stay in Galway featured an adjacent location at Galway Bay. We had quick access to taking a walk on the bay, and a few shops were nearby. It was brief but at a nice location and accommodations.

Barr and barren without the usual niceties most places offer
Toilets were a huge mess with little to no flush even after supposed repair
Great location but noisy - thank god the kettle worked
Washing machine did not -
Biggest disappointment was the window overlooking Galway bay was fogged with condensation between the glass panes which completely blocked the view and could not be removed

This was our second 2 week stay here on business. The apartment’s location is perfect. You are within a short walk of restaurants, pubs and food stores. The views over Galway Bay are stunning. The apartment was equipped with all the essentials and was very clean. Galway City is about a 20 minute walk or a very short ride. We will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our post-holiday stay here. The minimart and bistro right next door was very convenient. Loved the water view.

Location was great to access Galway Center City as well as Salthill. We were able to take the bus into Eyre Square while being in walking distance of the restaurants and pubs of Salthill. The kitchen had very little equipment and we chose not to cook anything because we would have had to buy everything to cook food. Had 3 salt and pepper packets 2 packets of coffee and tea for a three night stay. One bathroom had a broken body wash dispenser, there was one hair dryer for both bathrooms. Would like to have a box of tissue and paper towels in units I rent because I wouldn’t think of bringing those things to a rental with a kitchen. There was only one towel in the kitchen as well. A little more of thst kind of detail would make the stay a 5

Very clean and comfortable apartment. It has all the basic needs covered, but few extras. If you need to cook, you must buy your own salt and pepper, sugar, paper towels, etc. The washer/dryer is difficult to navigate. It will wash, but will not completely dry.
We started several days and fared very well after doing a little shopping.

We loved the location of the property, it was beautiful to look out on the Bay. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.
The place itself was very basic, larger than I expected. The dryer did not work which was a huge problem for us and was the reason why we wanted to stay at a Vrbo, to do laundry! No laundry detergent so bring your own.
The water tasted gross.

This was an exceptable apartment rental. Except for the traffic noise, there was nothing wrong with it. We tend to like places with more personality. This is more like impersonal corporate housing.

If you want a place that has gorgeous views of sunrise over Galway Bay, throughout the day beautiful waters, walkers and life around Salthill (just minutes from Galway center), the Galway view Apartments is the place for you. The bus makes life so easy. You step out of the front door onto the bus and are in Galway city center within 10 minutes. Return the same way and get off across the street. There are many great restaurants within easy walk of the apartment. The apartment itself is very comfortable, with a kitchen that suits all needs, a balcony for late afternoon or early morning enjoyment, and chairs that will consume you in comfort. We highly recommend a stay at Galway Bay View apartments.

Very deceiving , poor amenities
We were very disappointed in the apartment , from the terrible washer/ dryer combo - to the terrible smells in the bathroom , hot cold faucets reversed - no wash cloths , 1 small bar of soap. Filthy balcony . Can not recommend this place

Great location ocean view .
The apartment was very nice facing the water . The check in was fast but no contact with a real person kinda missing personal touch. Thought it would be loud with restaurants out front but was not an issue. Great for people that like to walk trail goes all the way downtown and along the water . I would definitely go again bus stops are right outside apartment also .

Galway Salthill Stay
The location was wonderful and bedrooms were huge. Bathrooms could have been bigger in comparison to the bathrooms. European systems of having heat and shower heat on timers was tricky until we figured it out. Likewise the washer/dryer in one could have used more exacting instructions, but minor inconveniences.

Great Location
Galway is a great place!! Walking distance to the city center with great shops and pubs. The property has a great view, but being right on the main road, there is a lot of traffic noise. Could use some updates, but overall was OK.

Weekend in Galway
We enjoyed a wonderful stay in Galway.
The apartment is comfortably furnished with modern fittings and all the equipment needed to self cater although apart from breakfast we chose to enjoy the luxury of the local restaurants.
The apartment has an underground car park which was a real boon.
The location of the apartment is perfect. There were lots of bars restaurants and shops nearby. (The Spa supermarket is a few doors down). The leisure centre for gym, pool and theatre is a few hundred yards away and the walk into Galway city is about thirty minutes or an 8 euro cab ride. We mostly walked.
The views from the apartment are across the beach to the sea and islands beyond. In short the apartment was perfect for us and was a great base from which to explore all the scenic attractions that Galway has to offer.
Just one thing that needs to be sorted. VRBO says that access is from 4.00pm. The managing agent stipulates access is from 5.00pm (They did change that after I called them) however when I used the checking in machine to access the key card the screen tells me check in from 2.00pm. Very confusing.
That aside I would like to reiterate that the apartment was perfect for our needs.
I would recommend it!
