This house is so super cute! It reminded us of everyone’s grandparents house with the old, well made doors and floors. We only stayed a few nights but were comfy the entire stay!

We have spent the last two Thanksgivings here and absolutely love it. The house is cute and clean and well stocked. The neighborhood is quiet and an easy walk to shops and parks and food. We would definitely stay there again if it’s available!

I had to apologize as I stayed an extra day....

Nicely updated and furnished home with well stocked kitchen. Host very easy to work with and responds quickly to messages. Parking is somewhat inconvenient as you park on the street. Our only issue with the house was the very slow bathtub drain which leaves you standing in 3-4 inches of water while showering. Otherwise home is as described and we would recommend and stay again.

This was an unexpectedly charming and clean place. As soon as you walked in, it smelled nice, and gave a very good impression. It was better than I expected from the pictures. The neighbors were also very nice, and I felt safe in this area. It had everything we needed and the street parking worked out fine. I would highly recommend this place! Thank you for a nice stay!

I’ve rented 4 houses in Charleston in the last four years, this is my favorite so far! Not only is the South Hills area of Charleston desirable, it’s quaint and safe. The house is decorated beautifully. I love the fabrics the homeowner used in decorating and the pillows and bedding is high quality.
My teenagers loved the basement setup with ping pong, fuse ball and corn Home.
I highly recommend walking the Carriage Trail nearby for some exercise.
We loved this place!

My husband loved many parts of the place. Old and has some cute charm to it. Lots of stairs! From the hike up to the house, to the upstairs where the only bathroom is, to the basement games. My knees were about spent by the end of our trip, but my kids loved sliding down the stairs 😂 Only wish there was a bathroom on the main level! Otherwise perfect for our long weekend trip.

The house was perfect for the four of us adults. We loved that it wasn't over decorated because it showcased the actual house. Everything was there that we needed. The parking was a little confusing at first but we figured it out. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to other people.

Great place to stay
I came to visit family with my husband and kids. The place was well-appointed, the home was beautiful inside, and the bed was really comfortable. It also has a fun basement if you bring kids! When I come to see family again, I will stay here again.

Charming Home
This home was cozy and charming. It was perfect for our family to stay and visit with our son who goes to school nearby. We were able to enjoy family game nights with cards and ping pong. The hosts were accommodating of us needing some extra time to check out due to our holiday stay.

Super Comfortable Retreat
Our family of 4 adults had such a fun, relaxing time in this cozy home. Located just a quick under-10-minute drive from downtown Charleston and the Capital and State Museum, daily farmers market, and some really yummy local restaurants - we found Black Sheep Burritos for dinner and First Watch for breakfast. Also right around the corner from the house is Lola’s Pizza for dinner - excellent! The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay, including comfortable beds, two very large-screen Samsung smart TVs, where we watched the Olympics, and a fun game room in the basement, where we played lots of ping pong!

Nice alternative to Charleston hotels
We were in town for the weekend and have always been disappointed with traditional hotels in Charleston. This home was a welcome change. It was quiet, clean, and spacious. We appreciated all of the little extras the owners provided. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Super cute house and location!
Met family from Ohio for an extended weekend visit and soccer tournament. Excellent location, walk-able to fantastic restaurants and ice cream. We usually just drive through Charleston on way from NC to OH - so glad we got to stay and check out a cool part of the city. Highly recommend location & house!

VERY charming house! My wife kept saying she loves the decor and was wondering where they got it. Very clean house. Basement with game tables would have been fun if we brought our kids along. Only negative was shower didn't drain very fast so standing water in tub while showering. Otherwise, would highly recommend this house!

Adorable Historic Home
The house was wonderful and immaculate! The only down size is the parking is on the street and there are quite a few stairs to traverse to the house

1930's charming bungalow
We stopped here for 1 night on our way back north. We can't say enough about what a wonderful place this is. So clean, in incredible original condition, decor was so beautiful. So many little extras that made our stay comfortable. We played music in the living room, ping pong in the spotless basement, there is washer& dryer if you need to do laundry, drove to town in a matter of minutes for a nice dinner. Would definitely return here, and recommend to others. Thank you for sharing this awesome home

Beautiful cottage in the Hills.
Our first time visiting family in Charleston WV, coming from Savannah Georgia we loved the look and the feel of the cottage. It’s very cozy and well decorated.
You can walk to few restaurants, grocery store is 5 minutes away (driving) and downtown is about 5-10 minutes.
We are planning on rebooking this cottage the next time we are visiting Charleston.
