Can't beat the location. We had a great stay.

Staying here was great. Walk out to Stratton shops and eateries directly into lift line. Room has exactly what you need. Be sure to review what it includes so you can shop/bring accordingly. Had a bad sink issue which wasn't resolved, so hopefully future stays will be better. Would def come back here again!

I expected to be able to use the hot tub and pool but couldn’t find it or a human to ask.

95% great. Shower head pressure low and spray too small. Area great, restaurants great. Stratton Resort reception Great. Very comfortable condo!

Once we booked, a Management Company called Vacasa took over resulting in WAY too many text messages and it appears that the software bumped us from our second night and reserved for someone else. Too much drama to relay here but we were forced to leave and change all our plans.

The stay was great. Nice location, and very clean. Would definitely stay again. Only one quarrel, the tv in bedroom was not working. Overall, great place! Recommended.

Location was across the street from Stratton village and mountain, which was perfect. Apartment was very basic for the high price. Furniture in living area was not comfortable for more than one person and kitchen was not fully equipped.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Very close to the slopes. Loved the hot tubs and outdoor pool. Very convenient and easy parking. Only difficult part was check in when our cards didn’t work. Couldn’t get a hold of Vacasa. Asked another guest in the building who directed us to the Bear lodge where we could get new cards.
6.0
Good location and clean. The kitchen has few utensils, glassware, and plates. If you intend to eat in “bring your own.” Since this is a chronic complaint as per prior reviews, do not expect it to be remedied.

The unit we stayed in was about what I would expect from motel 6, except it was about three times more expensive. The carpet was worn, the furniture was not in good shape. The coffee maker was defective.
When we went to pickup our key there was no one at the building off site we were told to go to. The lockbox was not functional. I flagged down a local policeman to try to get some help. After several phone calls we were directed to the pickup point at Stratton.
4.0
Location very convenient for winter skiing, OK for summer, but be aware Stratton has limited facilities open in summer.
Unit was reasonable size for two people, but not well-kept. Cleaning service had left trash in the unit and closets were packed with extra bedding. Kitchen very poorly equipped, with inadequate utensils, dishes and glasses. I wouldn't recommend this.

Seconds to the lift and mountain downtown! Mold in the shower. weak shower head pressure. Needed dishwasher detergent. no wine glasses. Knives flimsy.

Directly across the street from the lifts, restaurants and shops. Room has everything U need. Fireplace and a small deck that views the mountain. I'd definitely stay here again.

What a great spot to stay. You walk out the doors and Stratton village is across the street. Would love to stay here when there is snow. Kitchen could use some utensils there is vary little. could have used some wine glass when siting in front of the fire. all and all though would recommend to a friend.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE check-in experience... will never book anything involving VACASA
Having rented for years at Stratton, this is a good location in a good condo complex. That being said the check-in experience was the worst i've ever encountered. The lock box was open and empty 20 minutes prior to check-in (the unit is 5 miles from Property Management Office). I called VACASA and they sent us on a wild goose chase for the "spare key card". I called them back to note that the scavenger hunt turned up empty. They then told me that the property manager, that we "had the key" - this was completely incorrect. We then went back to the lock box to find it now locked and the code I was given at time of booking did not worked. I called VACASA back. They gave me another lock-box code to try and it finally work. We then took the key cards to the condo and they didn't work. At this time, having spoken to VACASA 4 times with little help, I went to Stratton Guest Services and begged for them to amend the access cards, which they did with my evidence of rental emails, etc. They said this is something that they NEVER do and reluctantly did so. They did note that the key cards were not the correct cards for the unit I was renting. Again, terrible check-in experience. If you see VACASA in a rental, I would strongly recommend not renting as they clearly don't have their game on point.

Location, location, location
Great location, just steps to the village. Elevator in the building was a definite plus. Amenities were plentiful, and parking in the basement garage was very convenient. The only downside was the scent in the room. I guess its from all the bedding that people use, that isn't getting regularly washed. Besides that, place was clean and comfortable.

Stratton
The room was clean and convenient to area activities. Poor communication between vrbo and the lodge made checking in difficult.

The positives about this property are that it is just across the street from Stratton Village, so super walkable to the ski lifts and restaurants. The hot tub and pool also looked nice, though we didn't get a chance to use them. The condo does have all basics, so seems useful. I was frustrated with the stay though. The shower was grimy, the bedding had some small stains, and every time my husband moved in the bed it would bounce me and wake we up. We were very irritated in the morning when we found coffee and a coffeemaker but no filters. Basic kitchen supplies are not there. The closet was unusable because it was stuffed full of bedding. This certainly wasn't a terrible place, we were just not impressed with the stay. The frustration started when we booked through Expedia and received confirmations from Expedia, VRBO, and Vacasa. Some emails had conflicting information and we were not able to hear back from anyone about an early check in. The confirmation emails would benefit from having more specific details regarding keycard pick up as there are multiple lockboxes at the pick up location. The lockboxes also didn't relock after we returned the key. Overall, our impression was a lack of care and attention to detail about this property.

Perfect Retreat
As a CEO of a national nonprofit, I rarely have the time to rest, recover, and re-enter. This condo was the perfect little place to take in the stillness of nature and beauty we often take for granted. I loved the cozy and welcoming feeling I got staying here.
I look forward to returning annually.
I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a place that allows you to focus on whatever you need uninterrupted. It felt like an early Christmas gift. Wonderful location and time!

No key available. Unable to check in. No one from customer service was able to help. No follow up from anyone. My family had to find alternative lodging last minute, because 1) the key to the property we booked and paid for was not in the lock box as promised 2) no one was available to provide a key 3) no one from Vacasa customer service phone line was able to offer assistance. Now several days later still no one has contacted me to offer an apology or to confirm a refund for a property for which I was unable to access. Also, may be helpful to know:The pool and hot tub are advertised as open year-round, but not currently open. The gym is also closed. All but one of the many restaurants and bars at the Stratton base are closed on weeknights.

I was weary about this property after reading the reviews left by others, but we found it clean and perfect for a few days on the mountain! It is small with minimal amenities so you really are paying for location, but that’s what we were looking for. I’m not sure why other guests had issues with cleanliness, but it was fine for us. The communication with Vacasa was not great and check-in was confusing.
For future renters: the address of the lockbox and lockbox combo will be provided before your stay-there were 4 white key cards in the lockbox and the lockbox had 2 room numbers on it. So I guessed and took 2 random keys which ended up working out (one key also opened the parking garage) but makes me question whether the keys are universal which is slightly creepy. There was no one in the office to verify check in info.
It was also disappointing that the electric fireplace wasn’t working, as that was something we were looking forward to and specifically looked for in a stay.

Superficially its a cute and cozy spot with a good layout and easy 5min walk to the lifts, but the management company only does a cursory job with no attention to detail.*Moldy shower curtain*My husband was convinced that someone had been sleeping in the bed by the mess of the duvet and bed skirt, but the flat sheet tucked in tight showed someone had made it.*Everything in the kitchen is in the wrong place. I had to wash the black out of the pans before I could use them (took my 15 seconds, not hard).*The baseboard in the bathroom is tile, and there is a thick layer of black greasy dust that hasn't been washed in ages. Shower head has no pressure.*Fireplace didn't work*Several knobs on the dresser are stripped and pull right off.*Very poor communication. No street address given for key pick up. Very easy to miss the building. It would be helpful to know which building our room is in, so we park near the correct elevator. There is nothing in the room to explain the layout of the building, the presence and location of the ski lockers, hot tub, pool, etc. No info about Stratton. Trail map would be nice.*Previous occupants used their key to walk in after 5pm. Keys should inactivate after turn over to the new occupants. We hoped that they were truly the previous occupants looking for a coat (they said they called Vacasa and Vacasa told them they could come back and search the rooms). Well no one came back and stole anything. *We knew there would be no hot tub bc of COVID, but if the small one we saw was it, there is no way its adequate for this huge building.*Very loud next to the road. The first night with inclement weather, the snowplows woke us up repeatedly. If you are coming from a city this might not be an issue.

There was mold in the tile and all over the shower curtain. The bathroom smelled like mold. The drain stopper was not in the drain in the bathroom sink. It was under the sink in the cabinet near the extra wash clothes and towels they left for us. It was coverage with dried up drain sludge, inches from towels and hand towels. It made me want to vomit. The baseboard tile along the floor where dirty. You sat there on the toilet looking right at the crud. I didn’t take a shower for 4 days. That’s how gross the tub and bathroom were. I called twice and it just kept ringing. I asked a cleaning crew in the hall and they said they don’t take care of our room. I don’t like controversy so I gave up. The wall in the living room behind and above the TV wasn’t painted the same color. You could see they repaired something and didn’t touch it up. The clocks where wrong and one was a great big one on the wall we didn’t feel comfortable taking off the wall and resetting. There where blankets in the closet just thrown in there in a lump. We didn’t use them because they didn’t seem freshly clean. Why weren’t they folded snd neat? We used our own blankets for the living room. We paid top dollar for this rental. It was shabby. The kitchen snd bedroom were fine. The bathroom was a disaster and totally unacceptable. There was no exact address for key pick up. If it was at night we wouldn’t have found it. we spent 25 minutes trying to find it. I called the facility numerous times before we left to find out if there was a way to get lift tickets. We tried to get tickets 8 days before our trip and they sold out. I tried 3 times to talk to someone at the facilty I finally got through to house keeping sho had to clue what I was talking about. They switch me to the office and they weren’t aware Stratton sold out snd couldn’t help me. So now we rented a condo at a beautiful mountain and couldn’t ski there. We had to drive to another mountain 1/2 an hour away. We understood that it was because of Covid but it would have been nice if someone from VRBO or Vacasa or Log Town Condos let us know that we might not be able to ski there. I know that Covid 19 has been very hard on the travel industry. My family and I took a chance traveling and giving VRBO, Vacasa, snd Stratton mountain our business and travel dollars. Someone along the way should have done their job and let us know we should have reserved our lift tickets earlier. Anne & Gary

Great location! (But that shower...)
Few small updates and this place would get 5 stars. The location is great, about a 5 minute walk through “the village” to the lifts, the underground parking was very cool indeed, and the main bed was very comfortable. The main shower (we love a good shower to warm up after a day on the slopes) is pretty pathetic dribble. The condo has plenty of water pressure (kitchen and bath faucets) so its likely the shower head, which has yellow electrical tape over the connection. Also the shower curtain is pretty gross and needs to be replaced a while ago. No toaster in the kitchen made for upset bagel eaters, that’s not acceptable at the nightly rate being charged. Also if you’re planning to food prep for dinner bring a decent knife (the two 5” serrated knives are useful for bread maybe, there’s no regular knife, and we couldn’t find a scissors either). All these things are expected at any good property, they’re not expensive or time consuming. I suggest you inquire that they have been taken care of before you arrive. I would stay hear again, though i’d prefer not to pack a toaster and knives... :)

Property excellent; customer service, poor
Overall the property met my expectations. However, the customer service I received was poor.
I had called the property management and made several requests; I received no response to any of them.
I asked about the key to the safe;
housekeeping service;
replace lightbulb.
Also, there is a communal washer and dryer on the floor without instructions on how to use it.

Very comfortable and cozy
This unit in long trail house was comfortable and cozy for our family of four. It’s very convenient to the lifts at the base of the mountain. The kids loved the hot tubs and pool (so did we.) A great value for the price.
