The host was very nice and responsive. He answered my texts within minutes. House has all the amenities we wanted. The ONLY drawback - and this really can't be environmental-friendly corrected - was the amount of spiders (and their webs) and the mosquitos. We would clear the webs in

The view of the water cannot be beat! Our group spent the days fishing off the dock and taking in the views. The cabin was simple, clean, and comfortable. Perfect place to unwind.

This property was a great pick for us! We did not get the email with information about entering the property, but Doug was very responsive by phone and walked us through the entry process. I wouldn't plan to swim off the dock since there was a lot of algae, but the beach a short drive away was a nice swimming spot. Hot tube was nice and clean, and a highlight of our trip!

The cabin was the perfect location for us. I am from the area and have always wanted a place on the water. Dougs place gave us that little slice of what it would be like to own a property on Indian Lake. The ability to be looking West for beautiful sunsets on the water is spectacular. We will come back.

This was the second year we’ve stayed at Doug’s place. The cabin is amazing and the hot tub and view of the lake are enough to give 5 stars on their own. Not to mention how above and beyond Doug goes for his guests. His communication is impeccable and won’t leave you hanging if something is wrong. We can’t wait to come back!

We were worried we’d feel too close to the neighboring houses, but with the way the property is set up, you hardly notice the other houses when you’re out back! There was more space in the main living area than we anticipated and plenty of extra blankets and towels to ensure we were always comfortable. The lake view was gorgeous and the fishing was great! We caught several huge catfish right off the dock! We had no issues and Doug was great about answering questions quickly too

Never had a better vacation or get-away residence than this place! An amazing cottage, essentials were well stocked. I literally told my fianceé, the host thought of everything we needed. Well cleaned. Thank you for this experience, Doug!

Stayed with 3 high school friends and thoroughly enjoyed the three days and nights we stayed at this cabin. Location was excellent and amenities were as expected! Hot tub was a bonus, and very well-maintained! Good communication with host!

First, I must say that the communication with the host was perfect. He was gracious and attentive. The cabin had everything we needed and was quite comfortable. We felt right at home. The lake right in the backyard was spectacular. We enjoyed it so much and can’t wait to go back.

We had a wonderful and very relaxing time at this cute “rustic” cabin on the lake. The lake views were breathtaking. We loved the swimming, hot tub and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. Our host was so accommodating. We loved it!

This has become an annual retreat for our family. We love this little cabin sanctuary. Beautiful views from the back windows or sitting in the hot tub. We love watching the sun set over the lake. Can't wait to come back! Doug is a wonderful and responsive host.

We loved this cabin with its welcoming warmth & beautiful Christmas lights indoor & out. Truly special with stunning frozen views from the hot tub and crackling fireplace. Doug was a thoughtful, detail-oriented communicator & host. Great way to kick off a happy 2023!

I booked this as a weekend getaway for my boyfriend as a birthday gift. It was amazing, and as described. The Christmas decorations were an added bonus. The cabin was cozy, there was access to Netflix, Hulu, etc and there were some great restaurants nearby. Our favorite thing was the hot tub :)

We had such a wonderful time. The house was clean and the location was perfect! Doug was a great host answering questions promptly. We rented a pontoon boat and the location made it so easy to get on and off the water. The patio was the perfect place to end the day by the fire pit and experience the most beautiful sunsets over the water. We will definitely stay there again!

Real cabin on the lake. We stayed up until 5am waiting on rain to stop to get back into the hot tub. My youngest enjoyed rowing me around on the lake.

Doug's place is amazing, and Doug is a great a host! We went for the hot tub, but the fireplace, and the home were amazing! I cannot recommend this place enough, especially for a quick winter get-away. We are already planning our next trip to enjoy the hot tub and the outdoor space in the spring when we can get on the water and enjoy the outdoor fire pit in the evenings. Thanks for a great stay, Doug!

Enjoyed our stay for 5 days. Cottage was very clean and well supplied. Weather was great! Went for a bike ride with bikes supplied by the cottage. Enjoyed watching the geese on the water and evening sunsets.

Overall we had a good stay! We took the boat out a few times and it was great! The hot tub was nice also. The only complaints I could have is the spices were all very old and some of the stuff did not work like the meat thermometer etc. because it seemed pretty outdated. We should have brought our own anyways but we forgot them! There was a lot of stuff there like fireplace forks to make s’mores and lighters etc. so you really don’t need to bring much! The main things were clean - vacuumed, clean beds etc. One other thing to keep in mind is there are acorns that fall all day/night and make a loud pop sound on the cabin and roll down and it did keep waking my one kid up at nighttime but not us. It just the time of the year and I doubt it’s an issue most of the time. It wouldn’t stop us from staying again. Thanks for the relaxing two days! We loved being on the lake and relaxing in the hot tub.

A girls week! What a great and beautiful place. We definitely will be back. Great views of the lake. Even better we had our boat delivered to our dock. The house was very well kept and decorated. Doug is super nice, and was very helpful. Thank you for a great week!
