My best friend of many years came to celebrate her birthday with us. At the last minute we decided to try this amazing property (I am new to the area, so I was interested, too). It was all we needed and more! The extra touches of bakery, water, and eggs were appreciated. It was overall a very enjoyable few days!

The apartment is in the historical district, close to downtown Ocala. Parking was right in front and no stairs. It has a cute little living room and kitchenette. The AC worked great and the bed was comfy. The place was perfect for two of us for our two-night stay. Four farm-fresh eggs were provided in the fridge.

This was a beautiful property. The hosts were very gracious, and the property was lovely. They even left farm fresh eggs in the fridge, they were so thoughtful and kind. The shower in this suite is fantastic; it has a pebbled floor and a rainfall showerhead. Everything is close, it is only 60 miles to Daytona and very close to Silver Springs and Juniper Springs. Best of all, my best friend was welcome.

Blue Heron was perfect for our stay in Ocala. From our home in Tampa we drove up for two nights to visit Ocala for our first time. We ate out out for all our meals. The historic-district apartment was fine for this. Easy parking. Easy trip to city-center restaurants. We are both 80+ and got along fine. No staircases!

Great Stay
I stayed here with a friend as we wanted to go hang out at the springs for the weekend. The location of this place was fantastic, about 4 minutes by car to any of the things we wanted to do in town. 12 minutes by car to the springs. We were able to each have a bed due to the pullout couch and the bedroom. The outside, private deck space was much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

Blue Heron
This was a very comfortable apartment. The host had everything I needed available. The house is in the historical section of town. It’s surrounded by beautiful oak trees! I walked to historic Ocala many times and walked around the residential area. The town is very close to the World Equestrian Center, golfing, manatees, kayaks, zip lining, and great places to eat! The host was available if needed and very nice! I highly recommend the Blue Heron!

Such a Kind Host and UniquecPlace to Stay
We were able to find this with the assistance of our realtor and VRBO. The apartment was built in the early 1900's. It is very quaint. There is a cute, very private deck area, where we enjoyed our morning coffee and birds. It is next to the historic downtown area. Jill always responded to our messages promptly and all our needs were met.
