About this house rental

We love our house because it is all brand new from the floors on up! We are loving being in an up-and-coming neighborhood and watching Waco come back to life! We are just a couple blocks to Magnolia and just a few blocks across the freeway from Baylor and around the corner from lots of food. We love the location because it is so convenient and easy to find what you need. We love the feeling in our home because it is warm and inviting and a great place to unwind with people you love! My sister and daughter and I did a quick weekend getaway to Magnolia and Waco to sight see and shop. This cost cottage was perfect for us to stay and relax when we were done for the day! The beds and couch were comfortable!

The home was very cozy and pleasant. However, communication with the owner was very touch and go. I did not receive the check in information until I was sitting on the front porch of the property for thirty minutes, with three texts and two phone calls to the owner while wasps were buzzing around. We had to buy several cans of bug repellant and Raid to deal with a constant threat of wasps on the front porch, one of which stung me on the first day and swelling still hasn't gone down a week later. Check-in, wasps, and communication aside, the house was pleasant, the stay was productive, and my friends and I accomplished all we had hoped to at this Vrbo. It has sleek and updated kitchen appliances, as well as a very powerful and quiet AC which worked wonders in the summer heat.

We stayed in this cottage for our time at Baylor’s orientation and it was perfect for what we needed. The house was clean, the linens smelled super fresh, and the couch was perfectly comfortable after a long day of walking around campus all day long in the hot sun. We really appreciated the gated parking as the neighborhood is a bit eclectic. The host was very quick to reply my question about the BBQ and was willing to bring us a tank of gas for it, but it had just enough to grill up our steaks. The only thing I would have liked is the lawn mowed and the outdoor table and chairs be cleaned so we could have sat outside ( we could have done it, but we’re too tired). We go back to Waco in August and this will book this little house again.

Completely refurbished older cottage fenced all around with security gate at driveway. Neighborhood remake underway with an interesting mix of new buildings, some undergoing renovation & a few that still need to be started. Good walking distance for me (maybe a mile?) to the Brazos parks with fascinating old bridges & of course the longhorns/cowboys larger-than-life statue group. Maybe 1/2 mile to Franklin Ave. business district with so many quaint shops, eateries & most importantly, an auto parts store! We will stay there again if overnighting in Waco again.

This cute cottage is just a stone’s throw to the Magnolia buildings and a short walk to lots of shops & restaurants. The owner was easily accessible for questions. Although this home is situated in an older, transition neighborhood, we felt perfectly safe and cozy.

The Cute White Cottage was a great fit for us. They location was about ideal. The queen bed mattress seemed like a new one. Thanks! Needed that. The front porch was cute but needed some dusting/cleaning. I think having kleenix would be a nice perk moving forward. The host was great about communicating about arrival and things to do. Overall a very nice stay in Waco. We'd stay again!

This property is so incredibly cute, comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. Everything was awesome, and we really enjoyed our stay. The host, Angie, was super communicative and the location cannot be beat; we were literally a few minutes away from the Magnolia grounds, the Fixer Upper castle, Hotel 1928, and Magnolia Table. We really loved our stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We were really excited. The manager reached out with information on property stating that the neighborhood was being revived and that they had not had any security issues so far. Made us uncomfortable being two women staying alone. Then when we got there the yard had not been kept or mowed in awhile. It had no curb appeal, and looked unkept. Once inside there was a request to bring trash cans up from street and put in yard. Really?? Then part of check out was wash the dishes. We couldn’t because there was not any dish soap. So did we eat off dishes that had not been properly cleaned? There was no hand soap in bathroom. The bottle was there but water had been added to it, no soap. I hope the owner is not paying someone to manage this. If so they need to change company because they are not doing a good job. The basics like toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap…. No extra, or there was None. Asking guest to pull up trash cans from street and put in back of house and wash dishes along with typical check out list. If you pay over $200 a night you would think that these things would be covered. The house was cute and comfortable. I would not recommend for someone with kids to stay. It was sad that small things can leave a negative impression. Location is convenient but I would not recommend walking, it would be a distance on busy roads.

Such a beautifully decorated home. It was the perfect location to shop at Magnolia, go back to the house to drop off our cupcakes and purchases before eating lunch at the Magnolia Table! I would definitely recommend staying at this home and wouldn’t hesitate to book again when I am in Waco!

My friend and I planned a little girls trip to get away for a few days. We had the best time. The house is just like it was described. Everything was clean and perfect. We walked around the neighborhood to get to the Silos and other shopping places. We felt safe the entire time. You can tell the neighborhood is up and coming. I really loved all the recommendations the owner sent. I would definitely stay again if we come back some time. Highly recommend this house!

This house is cute, clean and convenient. It had all the "extras" we needed, like dishes and shampoo. The decoration is delightful and all the furniture was very comfortable. There were only two of us but you could easily fit a family of four. It's a quick walk to many coffee shops and restaurants. Some of the nearby houses are in various stages of renovation or neglect but the neighborhood felt safe to me. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at this property was great. Such a cozy, clean, cute little house. Close to the Silos and lots of restaurants. Loved that we were able to park in the enclosed yard and go in and out of the house privately. Everything was as advertised. Wish we could have stayed longer! The only thing I would suggest is maybe adding a few fun games like Scrabble or Yahtzee. Luckily we had playing cards. Hope we can return sometime! Owners were very nice to allow us an early check-in since there was no occupancy the night before.

Two generations of Baylor grads in town for a family reunion in Valley Mills. We came in early so we could see how much everything has changed. It's crazy. A bad storm popped up during our stay which caused an issue, but Angie was on top of it immediately. She was very easy to work with and made sure that we were taken care of quickly!
