About this house rental
The River Run is a boutique and curated bungalow, one block from the fabulous Brazos River walk and entrance to gorgeous Cameron Park and its 20 miles of single track trails. Only a few blocks from downtown eateries, The Silo’s and the zoo, the home is ideally situated in a quiet little transitional neighborhood close to everything. Take a jog in the morning down the Brazos River walk and see the famous Waco Suspension Bridge and get a bite at the many food trucks and small businesses close by. Evening walks by the river reveal lovely views of the water and beautiful animal sculptures line the way - a perfect opportunity for your next selfie:)
The home is so darling, curated and considered for your enjoyment. Two bedrooms and one bath will comfortably house your party and the kitchen is fully stocked and functional with all necessary appliances and cooking utensils, should you desire to stay in.
Relax on the full-width front porch or chill out in the very secluded and fenced off back yard in the red Adirondack chairs, under the string lights.
The house has been a multiple years labor of love for us, as we took it to the studs, and took our time putting it back together. We feel that it is finally ready to release into our vacation rental fleet, and we can’t wait to host you here! The River Run is a perfect home away from home and a launching pad to all things Baylor, Waco and Magnolia.
See you soon!

I’m thrilled with our stay. Quiet, very comfortable beds and ample kitchen and bath. Manager was very responsive when we couldn’t retrieve the key. He was there in 5minutes to let us in. Also gave us recommendations about restaurants which were great. Also showed us a around his store and art gallery.

Great location from downtown. Property owner was very nice and helpful. This was my first time doing this. I would do it again.

The house was very clean and convenient to get to. It was close to pretty much everything in Waco. Owners were super easy to work with and everything was great. Would definitely stay here again!

Cute little cottage close to Cameron Park and w/in walking distance to a variety of restaurants and all things Magnolia (except for the Table). Josh and Jill were very responsive to all of our inquiries and provided us ample opportunities to experience everything Waco!

This was a great location. Easy to get around the city. We did enjoy sitting on the porch and enjoying the quiet. Discovered on last day how close we were to Riverwalk. Great stay!

We had a great stay. The house looks just like it does on the pictures- very cute! Plenty of space for my mom, sister, and I, and it’s close to all of the Magnolia stuff (main driver of the visit to Waco). The neighborhood is transitioning as noted in other comments and responses and as in those same comments and responses we had zero trouble. Oh, and the sheets were so comfy!! Highly recommend a stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. I thought the house was perfect for our girls trip. Beds were comfortable and house was quiet and cool even with the 100 degree temperatures. It was easy access to the silos and the shops we wanted to see in that area. If the weather was cooler I probably would have walked the block down to the river and had a nice stroll. I thought the neighborhood was perfectly fine. We drove by some other “fixer upper” houses from the tv show and this neighborhood is nicer by far. I spent my mornings in the back yard reading and evenings on the front porch. Although I didn’t meet the neighbors, the area was very quiet. The couple that owns this property is right in Waco and were two of the friendliest people we met in Texas. Stop by their shop on 5th! There are some great items in there. Highly recommend and would stay here again on a return trip!

The house was perfect ! It was exactly what I had hoped for. It was decorated so cutely and we had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable and the location was awesome. We were only minutes from everything we wanted to do. We would definitely rent this house again!! The host was very easy to get in touch with. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved the house! It was adorable and had everything you could need. The neighborhood seems like it’s up and coming but this was a perfect house for our one night in Waco.

Adorable home, tastefully decorated and clean. Well equipped if wanting to cook. Coffee available. Neighborhood appears sketchy when first arriving but we felt safe. I stayed with my mom and we had a great time. Close to the silos but not within walking distance.

This cute and updated house was perfect for me and my two friends! The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room was the perfect place to hangout and talk! The beds were comfortable and everything was super clean! The location was close to the Magnolia shops, H‑E‑B and great restaurants! We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a place that allows you to hangout and relax while in Waco!

Cute little house with nice amenities. Interior was very clean and well appointed, exterior needed a little bit of TLC due to recent storms. The neighborhood is "up and coming" but did not feel unsafe at all, some construction nearby of homes being renovated.

The house was very comfortable and inviting. Location was ideal for enjoying the River Walk and all the bronze sculptures. Easy access to Magnolia. Great backyard with grill and fire pit!
The neighborhood is being restored. Highly recommend this home.

Great location and well equipped home. It had everything you’d need. It’s decorated so cute and close to the Riverwalk. We chose to drive downtown and it’s a very short drive. We’d stay here again!

The home was clean and adequate for visiting and sleeping, but the bathroom tub/shower was non-funtional. Imagine if we'd been a family doing physical things and had children who get really dirty. We managed, but one of us had to wash her hair in the kitchen sink. Rest of us old ladies just managed without for the two nights.
Cute refrigerator.
We never tried the TV as we were there for each other.

Overall, nice. Lots of weeds and hardly any dish soap but it was a nice stay for what we needed.

Needed a one night stay in order to make a trip to Dallas/Fort Worth extra special with a quick stay in Waco. We found this gem of a home that allowed a one night stay and it was so cute and perfectly placed in town that we wished we had more time to enjoy the town and the ammenities of the property. From the front porch to the cute backyard fire pit area, there are so many ways to enjoy the home. It’s so close to the river and easy access to downtown. The neighborhood felt perfectly safe and we had no issues.

We had an amazing time staying here. Josh was so kind and responsive and gave GREAT recommendations for our time in Waco. We were close to the Silos and to other attractions downtown. The beds were so comfortable and my friends and I enjoyed our slow mornings drinking coffee and visiting on the porch! Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend for others to stay!

This was my 2nd stay at River Run. It’s just perfect! Great location, quiet and safe little neighborhood, and so very comfortable. One of my favorite features in this house is the electric fireplace. It really warms up the room and brings a lovey ambiance. It was freezing temps the day of arrival, but the owners turned on the heat and had it all warmed up! Such lovely hosts. Super accommodating, responsive and kind.

Our stay in Waco was wonderful and it all started with this cozy gem we called home for 3 days. Will definitely return and will definitely stay here! Loved it!

We stayed two nights at River Run and were so comfortable in this cozy house.
We had everything we needed! The little electric fireplace in the loving room added ambiance and kept us warm when the temps dropped at night.
The bedding was so soft and great quality! I’m a stickler for cotton sheets and these were awesome. I didn’t want to get up in the morning :)
Communication with the homeowner was excellent. We will definitely be back in the future!

The home was adorable and the hosts were so thoughtful of guests. It was clean, comfortable and had everything you think you might need! Our first thought driving into the neighborhood was it seemed a bit seedy but come to find out it was close to the police station, the homes across the street were in the renovation stage and the location was perfect. We felt safe, very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hosts reached out to us on our second day with wonderful tips on dining, shopping and exploring Waco. We can’t wait to return!

Loved the house very unique and quaint, neighborhood was convenient but a little rundown. Outdoor seating area/fire pit needed cleaning and grass should have been mowed.

Came to visit daughter at Baylor. Had a great visit. Was able to check in early which was helpful. Had a great stay!!

The neighborhood gave us a bit of concern. Also having a few extra bathtowels would have been nice. One hand towel for four people was not acceptable. The house itself was very nice and contained all we needed except for the towels. Pit a five star for communication with property manager but did not talk to him??

We loved this place! The furnishings, decorations and amenities were all perfection! And the location could not have been better. It was a block from the river. We walked to the river at sunset, took a right and followed the path to downtown all while enjoying art pieces on the river and walking on two beautiful bridges crossing the Brazos. We ate dinner in downtown and then walked back in the dark. The path was well lit and the lights on the bridges were beautiful! I definitely recommend this place!

Just two friends coming in town for the night for a concert. We loved our stay! The beds are so comfy…the sheets & pillows are AMAZING! We will be coming back when we can stay longer!

This was our first time booking a VRBO. Our main reason for going was for my husband and son to play Brazsos East Disc golf course. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and my daughter-in-law‘s birthday. We went to Diamondbacks for dinner, which was absolutely fantastic. We also went to the Dr Pepper Museum and participated in the create your own soda experience. Super fun.
Booking was incredibly easy. Getting the key was incredibly easy. The home was absolutely stunning and perfect for our needs. The beds were very fluffy and soft. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. The bathroom had everything you need, including a hair dryer. I think the llama chair was the cutest chair I’ve ever seen.
It was in walking distance to pretty much everything although we did choose to drive because of the heat. We will definitely be back when it is cooler. I would love to walk the Riverwalk and walk to Magnolia Market. Maybe even try the zoo
Communication with the owner was impeccable.
It was a fantastic first experience with a Vrbo, and with the owner of the home.
If you’re in the Waco area and you’re staying with 4 to 6 people I highly recommend this property.
Thank you so much to the owners for being such an incredible and gracious hosts. God bless.

This is the second time we've stayed here and absolutely LOVE the home and it's location. Easy access to Cameron Park, Baylor, Brazos River and Waco amenities. It's tucked away in a safe, quiet, up and coming neighborhood, super clean and well maintained with all the necessities. My daughter even commented these were the best beds she's ever slept in, and that says a LOT! We happened to be in town this last time during a TX summer and the AC didn't disappoint. We will definitely be back!

The bungalow was super clean and accomadating as were our hosts. They went above and beyond to tell us where to eat and enjoy as were we visiting Waco. Very quiet neighborhood even though there a couple of abandoned homes across the street, it did not take away from this cute little place. We will definitely stay again. So cozy!

The lock box was broke so key was easily accessible for anyone to just open and gain entry. Back door had been broken into and only way of staying shut was to lock deadbolt. We had 4 guests but only three towels. Sheets had stains in one room, no extra sheets for pull out couch so my daughter and son had to share a bed. The neighborhood was quiet and we had no problems with neighbors but this house is the only one that is appealing to the eye. Pictures are accurate of the house but misleading to the neighborhood. Not pet friendly but had dog feces in the yard and on stepping stones. Glad we only booked for one night.
