We had a wonderful stay at The Promenade. The house was clean, quiet, and contained everything that you could possibly need. The surroundings were beautiful looking out over the English Channel, excellent walks over the South Downs or along the undercliff walk next to the sea. Very easy access via frequent busses to the main English seaside resort of Brighton. Bob&Lucie, Ottawa, Canada

We just spent a wonderful week at The Promenade. The sea view is absolutely amazing! It is so quiet and peaceful there and I didn't want to come home. The house was warm, comfortable and very clean. It is also very well equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Geraldine is a great host and showed us everything we needed to know when we arrived. I would definitely recommend The Promenade and hope to return again one day.

The sea view from the patio was amazing. The accommodation was excellent everything we needed to enjoy a mini break with our grandchildren. We spent the days at local beaches which were good and safe for swimming. I would highly recommend this property.

We certainly got lucky with the weather! The location is spectacular with beautiful calming sea views. The house is warm, cozy, comfy, and clean and quiet. Not too many retaurants to choose from in the immediate village however we had a lovely, delicious & fresh meal at the Greek retaurant in Peacehaven. (the name escapes me at the moment). We were mostly out and about with family at most meal times but the kitchen is very well equipped for those who like to stay home for meals)
What more can you ask for?? Would highly recommend this house! (I should keep it a secret so that it will be available every time I want to go!) Gerladine is a terrific host!

Geraldine has really thought of everything in this house. From the excellent kitchen equipment to the magnifying mirror in the bathroom - it is clear that she has put a LOT of effort into making the house really comfortable and it has totally worked.
We LOVED sitting in the conservatory with cocktails watching the sun set over the sea. And the whole house was spotlessly clean. A real pleasure to stay there.

Great views
Hi. The bungalow is lovely, warm and comfortable. Our only concern is that it has only one loo. It was fine for us as a couple, but if the place is full it might well cause a problem. Otherwise, Peacehaven and the cliff top walks are well worth paying the extra for.
