Great value and location.

We stayed for a couple of nights . Lovely room very clean and decorated well. Tea making facilities and coffee machine in the room. Freshly cooked (larger than we expected) breakfast. On bus and train route to Leeds city centre.

Ideal venue for our visit to Leeds. All staff we encountered were welcoming and efficient.

There were several breakfast choices and it was served quickly after order placed. We didn't need them but there are a few shops close by. Excellent and welcoming staff.

Would have preferred an option to self select breakfast items. A later check out than 10:00 would be welcome. However, the bonus was breakfast time ran until 12:00.

Welcoming and pleasant experience.

The location is very good and the room was clean. The food in the pub attached was really nice and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and they were really welcoming to our little family dog.

Had to ask for coffee a few times as the pods had not been refilled before we arrived.

Significant deterioration in service and hosting. Shame!

Comfortable, well heated room. Once again, detail needed on shower cleaning... Black mold on shower hose (this is easy to remove).

Service in restaurant has deteriorated; bring back the previous staff! Dinner service was just about acceptable, but breakfast service was awful. They couldn't be bothered to take our order. We had to go to the bar to order,, despite being told to take a seat when we entered. Also, condiments asked for were not delivered as the staff preferred to talk amongst themselves rather than serve. Once again, we had to get up, having stated to eat our meal to get a salt cellar and brown sauce.

Ideally situated for our needs but needs a few tweaks to make more comfortable

The bar/coffee shop was very nice and the rooms were very neat and tidy

As soon as we walked into the room, we could smell tobacco/cigarettes. It was a very strong smell and everytime that I woke during the night (which was a lot) that's all I could smell! The bed was sooooo small, it must've been a 3/4 bed. There was enough space for a bigger bed, so I'm not sure why it was so small. The bathroom door wouldn't shut, which was an issue and unless you like coffee from a machine, there was no instant coffee sachets.

Good overnight spot and nice breakfast

Friendly staff, location was great, food at the pub was lovely and breakfast was nice included in the price. Accommodated for a fussy 8 year old.

Was a little loud in the evening with other guests talking outside the room, shower pressure not particularly good.

Lovely spacious and clean room. The breakfast was included in the price and was delicious.

The little window in the room only had a wooden shutter so allowed a bit of light through. Could use some sort of blackout.

Good stop over mid journey and for visiting friends.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location although on a main road was extremely quiet which was good with young child. Room was large and comfortable with nice decor.

The name.. The Midland Hotel conjures up an image of a smoke-stained old Victorian Hotel near a railway station. I nearly didn't book! Instead we got a light, airy pub with modern rooms and friendly staff. They should change the name.

Good comfortable stay.

The beds were very comfortable and the shower pressure was perfect. The warmth in the room was lovely (especially as it was very cold when we stayed). The staff was nice, especially the red-headed lady that serves us breakfast every time we go. She is great! Breakfast was very nice.

The accommodation was ok but very dated. The bathroom door kept sticking (at one point I thought that I was trapped). The toilet seat slips and could have been dangerous for a small child or elderly person.

Excellent value for money.

Really good choice on breakfast menu, everything freshly cooked not left standing on a hot counter. Plenty of choice for hot dinks, good coffee, fruit juices if you wanted. Can’t find anything negative to say about the quality or quantity of the food.

Personally there wasn’t anything I didn’t like. We travelled with our dog and he was made welcome.
