This quaint authentic log cabin is adorable and waiting for your escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This log cabin is the perfect escape Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall. Just minutes from many of the Pocono Mountains attractions- skiing, hiking and biking trails, State Game Lands, shopping, wineries, kayaking/canoeing all within a short 1-8 miles drive. We want all our guests to enjoy all that the Pocono Mountains has to offer any season.

The cabin features 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom overlooks the large pond, has a queen size bed & large closet. The second bedroom has a twin bed and a full size bed also a large closet. There is a twin roll away bed for any extra guests.
The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, butcher block island to make meal making easy. All the essentials you need to cook a family meal and a few items you might not expect. Large table to seat up to 6 people, enjoy your meals together.
The large loft is perfect for playing board games, doing a puzzle or snuggling on the sectional sofa in a blanket and watching a movie on the 55 inch TV.
Large deck overlooks pond- have a cup of coffee in the morning and listen to the birds or have an evening cocktail, fire pit to enjoy the night air and all the stars.

We had a great time. The cabin was perfect for our family of 4. The area was great and located to all the places we wanted to explore. We even got to aee deer on the property. My kids loved the family games, fuseball and board games. We played every night. The owner was very communicative and checked in qith ua.

Property had numerous issues with light bulbs being out which contributed to overall all poor lighting within the rental. My spouse and I ended up driving to a store to purchase battery operated lanterns to supplement the lighting situation. In addition, I had to contact the property manager to make her aware of a major safety issue and concern regarding one of the upstairs outlets that a lamp was plugged into. The receptacle was clearly burned on one side (sent an texted picture of it) and the fixture itself was hot to the touch. I'm not an electrician by any means but this was a major safety hazard and could have contributed to a fire. Upon contacting the property manager she thanked me for the information and stated she'd have it looked at next week. I'm sorry but that answer was completely unacceptable, it should have been addressed immediately and for those of you reading this would you be okay if this was a situation in your own home? Otherwise the property was in a good location, located in a quiet area and had good surrounding scenery however we will not be renting here again.

My 30-something wedding party got together for a long weekend to plan the music and seating arrangements, and to have a relaxing weekend in the woods. The cabin is beautiful, well furnished and was clean and tidy when we arrived. Elizabeth was very friendly and checked in with us Saturday morning. As an animal lover, I was delighted to see a robins nest being actively used on the porch. The cabin was perfect for a relaxing time with friends.

The cabin is amazing. The outdoor area is simply fantastic with the fire pit along with the seating. Great amenities, they even had horseshoe pits and outdoor games for folks with children. We will definitely stay there again when we come back.

So we got off to a rocky start. When we arrived there was no toilet paper at all. We also went to turn on a light and the bulb needed replaced. I had to run the sweeper because it was not ran from the guest before us. We also went to use the grill and there was no propane. Once we got it all tidied up we enjoyed ourselves.

Overall this is a cute cabin in the woods that allowed my partner and I to relax and enjoy the views. The host was a great communicator and there were decent amenities. A few things that could be improved were all general upkeep items like 5 out of the 6 lightbulbs in the bathroom vanity light were burnt out, some of the window locks don’t stay locked, there is a crack in the paint on the shower floor that is peeling, and everything could use a deep cleaning (just dust and a couple cobwebs here and there). These are not deal breakers for me but may be for some folks. Ample parking, great lake view, and overall cozy feel of a cute cabin in the woods.

We only had 1 planned activity for the weekend so lots of down time. We watched a movie on the smart tv, played foosball and giant connect 4. We brought wood and had a campfire and made burgers on the grill. Restaurants and stores were about 15-20 minutes away, some great food options. My favorites were Guy Fieri's restaurant at the casino and an amazing little place called Kitch-en, so good! If you have the opportunity to ride the rail bikes in Hawley go for it! Was a fun time!

This cabin house is beautiful. It was perfect for a weekend getaway, and gives you a true Pocono experience. The lake is right out back. There are also great restaurants close by.

First, the cabin is absolutely gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice. It was exactly the cabin look/feel we were hoping for. When I looked through the pictures and saw the Fooseball table, I knew my kids would really enjoy it. So we were disappointed to find out that it was totally unusable. We let the host know and she promptly responded but it wasn't able to be fixed during the duration of our stay. So instead of watching the kids play, I was constantly making sure they didn't go near it as I didn't want them to get hurt. We also had an issue with the bed in the primary bedroom. It was very loud, uncomfortable, and unsupportive. We ended up sleeping on the futon located in the other room. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would love to return provided the bed gets updated.

Idyllic cabin- perfect for a long ski weekend with the kids. Beautiful wooded lot on a pond -- deer every morning! Loft living room well suited for relaxing and family game nights after a long day of skiing. Shawnee Mountain only 20 mins away. Would definitely stay again.

This cabin was a perfect getaway spot for my husband and I. It sat on a nice little pond in a quiet area. The cabin was still close to all the essentials. There were nice hiking spots nearby as well. It was very clean and Elisabeth was a great host who communicated well. Would love to stay there again!

I returned to this beautiful cabin for the Thanksgiving Holiday and had an absolutely beautiful time! My first visit was 2 years ago during the spring time and I can honestly say, both times of season are wonderful! Buffy is a great host and very easy to work and communicate with from the get-go. The house is gorgeous and perfectly located to visit various hikes/trails, wineries, and other Poconos treats! I'd highly recommend Buffy and her amazing property! ENJOY!

Well kept cozy cabin near lake. 2 bedrooms perfect for our four person family with 2 kids. Nice loft area for watching movies or just hanging out. Plenty of games and activities in the house in case of a rain day. Close enough to local activities, hiking, etc but secluded enough to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Host provided clear communication and was available if we needed anything during our stay. Highly recommended.

A bit far from town but quiet and secluded. Good communication with owner as we had issues with washer and dryer. The bed was not comfortable and you can hear springs when you turn over. Nice view of small lake deer in the yard

Very quiet community, with a back pond and walking trail. Short drive to antiques and food, but also a well-equipped kitchen which we enjoyed as well as a nice deck with a grill. There is a firepit with chairs so bring some wood. Also a great place for kids with a fussball table, games etc. We loved our stay here, with good communications with the property manager taking care of any questions.

My friend and I stayed at this property for the weekend and it was perfect for our little girls trip! The property was beautiful, super clean and had a great outside area. I really feel like I was on vacation. We really enjoyed our stay and the communication with the owner was excellent. I would highly recommend.

Very comfortable and relaxing, outfitted with games and books. Cozy and clean with a few different areas to hang out. We had a very nice quiet weekend. The nearby pond and lake aren't as nice as I had hoped, may be better in cooler & wetter seasons, but good hikes are a short drive away.

The property was just as lovely as pictured on the Vrbo listing! It was very nice and suited our purposes; however, the one AC unit (not central AC) was inadequate to cool the bedrooms yet it worked overtime making the rest of the house very cold. We are from Texas, and this was our first experience with renting a property that only had a window unit. I understand that it is seldom as hot as it was, but sleeping in a stuffy bedroom was not much fun. Other than that, I give the property a 5 star review!
