Good size room with a private bathroom. The bathroom looked new (May 2013) with a good shower. The room had adequate natural light with windows overlooking a roof area. The kitchen looked new and adequate and clean. The kitchen is shared with one other room, That worked fine the neighbors were friendly and we chatted about travels. Everything inside the unit was clean. Security is good with four sets of locked doors.
Walking distance to restaurants and Villa d'este.
The building is in the historic part of town. That adds to charm and authenticity but there are downsides.
The entrance is through a shared courtyard and common steps and passages. They were old and not well maintained. The units were on the 2nd floor (3rd floor US counting) with no elevator and narrow steps. Heavy luggage would be a problem. It is like living in an old town,
The units are in the historic area with no car access so you have to park outside and walk in. That is normal with old historic towns, just be aware. It is not a long walk.

La Corte Segreta was perfect for us as we are a family of three (2 adults and a four year old) and we were visiting Tivoli with two friends. The two rooms have exclusive use of the kitchen in the room in the middle of the two bedrooms, which was great when we needed some separate space to relax when our daughter was going to sleep.
The rooms were large, airy and clean and the WiFi was good. The host, Paolo, was very helpful with suggestions of where to visit and how to get there etc. The accommodation is situated right in the old town and is perfect for proximity to all the restaurants and attractions, while being nice and quiet. We particularly liked the Alotico Degusteria just down the road for great cocktails and amazing food and desserts.

Paulo, our host, was wonderful. He was very attentive and responsive to our needs! And we Loved the kitchen! We like to make our own breakfast in the mornings and this was perfect!
The location was so close to city center and yet quiet at night for sleeping. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
nothing! All was great!

AMAZING!! Paolo’s place is my new favorite rental! It was cozy, and beautifully furnished, clean, well equipped, and it’s right in the center of the cutest Italian town. Paolo checked in with us before, during and after our stay to make sure we had no issues getting there and had everything we needed!

12/10. seriously, the place is perfect. you stay in the building from the Middle Ages with all modern amenities. with a wooden ceiling. within walking distance from every main attraction. and Paolo couldn’t have been more helpful. I almost hesitate to leave this glowing review because I would like to come back and don’t have the place overbooked:)
I liked everything

Maybe one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. Helped us with making not only suggestions, but reservations to places which ended up being essential.
Perfect set up to travel with another family. We put the kids to bed and chatted over glasses of wine in the kitchen area.
We got smarter after this trip and started using a backpack instead of a rolling suitcase.

Paolo was wonderful and helped book reservations for things to do as well as lunch and dinner. He met us when we first arrived and helped us get to the apartment and set up. He was very responsive all weekend helping to answer any question

The apartment is beautifully decorated and located in a quiet area very close to the main street of Tivoli and the Villas. Its brand New, very clean and it has a cute little kitchen with everything you need for a stay, plus the room is spacious with both bed, sofa and a little windowcorner with chairs. Communication with the host was excellent. Beforehand he gave us directions for driving to the nearest parking lot, where he met us with keys, showed us to the apartment and helped carry some of our stuff. Also he found a babycrib for our daughter!
We felt very welcome, and if we go to Tivoli again, we will definitely try and book this place.
Thank you :-)
Parking in Tivoli is a bit expensive. Not the hosts fault though.
