Very nice place and location is great. We had 19 and it was comfortable.

The beach access was great- there was hardly anyone near us. There are bathrooms in each bedroom which was great!
The only recommendations I have are more trash cans would be helpful and the oven was difficult to use. Other than that it was amazing!

House was just as advertised. I would add cable television router, elevator reset instructions and panel location to list of things already on the refrigerator door. 4th floor AC wasn’t working properly, we had to report it twice before someone would come out to repair it. It was repaired and the reminder of our stay was great.

From the house to the beach, this place was clean and spacious. I would highly recommend!

The property was very nice, beautiful furnishings and tastefully decorated. Loved that ALL bedrooms had bathrooms en suite. Kitchen was very nice and great to have 2 refridgerators as there were 11 of us, so plenty of room for food and drinks. The house has a nice attached walkway to the beach, although I was disappointed no beach accessories - (chairs, towels, umbrella/canopy, etc) were included with the house. The description says this house has an elevator which I thought would be great, as 3 levels but as it turned out it was not working for our stay. Overall really great house highly recommend.

We had 9 adults & 10 children ages 14 to 3 - four families plus me, grandma. The space is beautiful and SO close to the beach. Beautiful view from the rooms. The location was amazing. We could have used a few more couches that could be used as beds in the loft. :) I like my own room.
We rented chairs and umbrellas but had to set them up ourselves every day. If I would have been with friends we could not have done it. It worked out because my adult children and older kids did it in the morning. There is no grill but we rented one of those too. The oven is conduction - we didn't have experience with that and there was no manual but we youtubed. We had someone come in and do a shrimp and crab boil and that worked out nicely. It is hard to eat out with 19 people so we mostly cooked. We were able to instacart groceries so no shopping needed. We used the two fridges and dishwashers a lot. Lots of freezer space for the red snapper they caught. Don't count on the elevator. Most of the time it didn't work. The inside stairs risers are not too tall so I could get up and down them even with my bad knee.
The pool was clear after the first day but could use a water line cleaning. Kids used it in the evening every day. I loved sitting out on the deck in the morning, drinking coffee, watching the gulf and the people. It is just beautiful!!!
All of us had a great time and would definitely recommend it for families! It was good to be all together in one place. Thanks for letting us use it!

The house was a great size and had plenty of room for everyone. Even though the pool is small it still worked ok for our group of 15 because you are right on the ocean front and there was shade on the pool deck. There were several non functional items in the kitchen and we were never informed of. The main microwave doesn’t work, the stove top did not work because wrong knobs were used. Apparently there was a water leak underneath main kitchen sink and a large bowl was just there to catch water which we didn’t notice until end of stay. We had to have curtains installed in one of the bedrooms. Almost all the bathroom towel bars were loose or out of drywall

the house was very comfortable and spacious
the0nline photo of the deck and pool very misleading as the pool was very small with very little room around it and no shade. $200 to heat the tiny pool
no beach chairs provided
one bath had no rods or hooks to put a towel

Perfect weather! The house was great with a bathroom with every bedroom. Elevator was awesome for my elderly Dad, and it worked perfectly. The only problem we had was we requested the pool to be heated and it never changed temperature- it actually got colder.(70 degrees) So we couldn’t use the pool. I reached out to management company and never heard back. The element light was not lit on the heater so I assume it wasn’t working.
But we had a great week!

Very Impressive Property, fit for a family!
I would recommend this property! It was very unique, it had an elevator so that we did not have to travel 4 levels when loading and unloading the luggage. The views of the ocean from bedside were remarkable. The family area was open to living, dining and kitchen. It was ideal for our family game night.
However, the only thing I think it lacks is a table prep area for the grill. The grills are very small. I unfortunately had to travel several times going up and down stairs. The elevator were not used because my hands were full with a collection of various meats. The pool is really a conversation spot. You have the entire ocean to swim in.

GREAT Family Reunion
We chose Gulf Shores since it was the same distance for our Texas and South Carolina families to travel. The home was absolutely perfect. There was plenty of kitchen tools for us to cook 3 meals a day for our large family. Clean up was a cinch with the two dishwashers and ice was never in short supply. We made great use of the heated pool after spending most days petting stingrays and swimming in the ocean. We hope to make this an annual trip and this home will be the one we select. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

MHCR RETREAT 2021
There were only two minor issues, one being the directions for operating the elevator…the second was operating the stove…I suggest you remove the sign on the wall of elevator about getting STUCK in the elevator to an emergency reset sign if the elevator doesn’t respond. The response to my urgent request for elevator repair was answered quickly and Professionally but Still had minor operator mconfusion with operation! All that needs to be said is Close door on elevator and also the house door on each floor upon entry and exit! Don’t put the fear of getting stuck on elevator in already uneasy minds! That stove in the kitchen needs an instruction book! We were able to bake but the temperature was uneven and biscuits got overcooked on top then again the breakfast casserole was over toasted on top and the middle still partially uncooked (maybe an element issue). The ice maker was a life saver! Great unexpected plus…the pool wasn’t heated if was supposed to be, but the pool was well maintained! With 21 of us there it would have been nice to have 21 bath towels and wash rags so each of us could have had one towel for showers! But we survived…and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again! Hope you found it cleaner than most guest leave it! We are a Charity Riding group back in Indiana called the Mars Hill Charity Riders we raise money to give children a Christmas who otherwise might not have much of one or not at all without our giving group of members. We support the Goodwin Center in Mars Hill , and many other fundraisers because that’s what we enjoy doing!

This is a beautiful house - lovely finishes, excellent layout with plenty of room, well-appointed, and most everything that would be needed, supplied! Our cousins reunion was made even more enjoyable because we spent it here!!

Family Beach Vacation August 2021
The house was very nice and worked well for our large family of 12 adults and 9 Children. The location was great. In the past we have been way out closer to Fort Morgan so the beach was a little more crowded than what we were used to, but that was really only an issue on the weekends and the convenience of being closer to town was worth it as well as the security of having a life guard stand adjacent to the home. This was the first beach house we rented with a pool and it was perfect for the kids. There were a couple of items I would suggest for improvement. 1.) we could not get into the house due to the door combination not being correct and we had a difficult time getting a hold of a person on Saturday afternoon. We were able to discover the backup key box and figured out how to access it even though it was very cryptic in the email instructions. 2) We have used VRBO and Harris before and this was the first time that the instructions called for all dishes to be put away when you checked out versus being able to leave them in the dishwasher. I suspect that this was why we found several dirty dishes in the cabinets. If you are going to require this then I think the cleaning crew needs to do a better job checking to see that the previous group put them away clean. 3) The kitchen overall was stocked well with plates and utensils etc. The biggest issues were that there were no hot pads or grill tools. We ended up using some dish towels to handle the hot plates and just made due with knives and forks to tend the charcoal grill. 4) The elevator lost its mind for a while, but we were able to reset it with the help of the instructions that were provided. In hindsight we should have made a rule that the kids were not allowed to touch the elevators because if you call it and then don't use it, it will loose its mind.

Great house, Great location
The house is amazing. Plenty of room for a big family or group of friends. Elevator is very helpful for older guests. The kids love the pool. Huge kitchen with tons of space. The location is the best, almost feels like you are on a private beach because of its location.

Beautiful home!
Absolutely amazing home. It was my wife and myself, our three children and their spouses, and our seven granddaughters ages
2 to 14. Everyone loved the home.
Not a criticism. Just an observation or opinion. Don't understand why someone would make a huge investment in a home that comfortably sleeps 16 adults and have a pool that is comfortable for 4 adults.

Great House
This house was great. New and modern. We loved the close access to the beach. We requested to pay for the pool to be heated and they took care of it right away. Only negative is that the elevator didn't work the whole time we were there. It was ok for us, but could be an inconvenience for others. We would for sure book this house again if we come back.

Wonderful family time at the beach
Our family of 14 had a perfect time at Out of the Blue. The property is wonderful for a large group. The large kitchen with two refrigerators and two dishwashers was so handy as we cooked a lot.
The pool was a big plus....the kiddos loved it! Dealing with the professionalism of Harris Properties was a pleasure.

Amazing
The house is so pretty and right on the beach . And if who light fishing make sure to bring fishing equipment because you can catch a lot red fish right front of it . The only thing I wish they could have it , hair dryer and iron so that we can iron cloth . But over all I love it . Will try to book this place again in future .

Awesome location and set-up for multiple families!
Amazing proximity to beach, which made getting to beach - with children, beach toys and ice chests - so easy.
