About this house rental

6,800 sq. ft. of interior space, post and beam style, built in 2007. Mahogany floors. 24' ceiling in the great room. 5 bedrooms 5 full baths. 4 separate A/C zones and 6 separate heating zones including radiant heat in cement ground floor and master bath. Large back deck with grill. 5 separate audio zones on the main floor for the stereo. Wine and beer fridges in the wet bar. Home theatre. Fully landscaped with flowering plants from April-October. 50'x 20' heated saltwater pool w/cover, stereo and grill.

The house has a cedar exterior. Wood burning fireplace in great room, gas fireplace in the master. 3 decks with chairs, coffee tables, loungers and one dinner table that can seat 10. Garden/breakfast room seating 4. Kitchen island seating 4. Dining room seating 10. Pool pavilion table seats 12. Pool wet-bar island seats 4. Pool couch seats 10. All manner of sporting goods, pool floats and toys. Lawn mowing/pool cleaning once a week. The house is on 8 acres on a private road, very little traffic. Backup generator. excellent cell phone reception. Wifi throughout. HP laser printer and scanner.

We just returned home from an amazing family vacation of ten at Phil’s home. Phil responded quickly with any questions we had. The house and grounds are magnificent. The home was secluded and private yet only 20 minutes away from many great daily adventures. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed for creating delicious meals, which we did. Each room is decorated beautifully and is so comfortable. We loved star gazing in the evening on the deck and bbqing poolside. Everyone loved and enjoyed the gorgeous heated pool, and all the amenities the pool area provided. The views from inside the house and poolside of the mountains were spectacular. Wonderful memories were made and we hope to have the opportunity to return.

We were lucky enough to have just spent a month at this incredible house for the second summer in a row. Just like last summer, everything about this place was perfect - from the amazing views and ridiculously beautiful pool area to the comfy beds and fabulous entertaining spaces. Phil is a gracious host and always makes sure you have everything you need.

The house is exactly as pictured. It’s clean and beautiful and has everything you need and then some. This is the perfect place to go for a tranquil getaway with the family. We were poolside everyday and could not get enough of the views. Loved it!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful house in the Catskills. My family and I spent a wonderful month here and we can’t wait to come back next year. For all its grandeur, Phil’s house feels like a home, comfortable and cozy but spacious and light-filled. The pictures don’t do it justice - the pool area is spectacular and spa-like, the kitchen is stocked with everything you could need and the bedrooms are peaceful and relaxing. (My son divided his time equally between the pool and his bunkbed fortress.) And the view is like nothing I’d ever seen. Brilliant sunsets and really cool thunderstorms, it was mesmerising. The location is perfect - less than 10 minutes to the grocery store, pharmacy and Bread Alone, with farm stands just a few minutes further. Less than 30 minutes away is Woodstock with all its fabulous restaurants and shops.

House was wonderful just as described and pictured. We got together with our adult children for the week of Thanksgiving and there was so much room to comfortably work, go to school and just relax reading, puzzling (sign of the times!) and spending time together! We cooked up a storm and had all the kitchen utensils we needed! Great location 10-25 minutes away from beautiful walks and hikes.

The house was amazing, plenty of room yet comfy. Bedrooms were all nice sized, everyone was very happy with their accommodations. The decor was beautiful, spa-like yet cozy. Kitchen well stocked with equipment for any meal prep needs. Although pool was closed for the season...the areas was gorgeous and definitely made us want to book again for a summer getaway. The best part of the house though was the view off the back of the house. We celebrated the sunset behind the glorious Mountain View each night of our stay. Owners were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Location was great too, close to main road to take you to all the local attractions as well easy access to get back to highway to head home. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a great time at Phil’s house. The property is gorgeous and it’s hard not to stare out towards the mountain ranges all the time. The pool is great (it’s all our kids talk about) and there is a huge amount tog space to spread out and be doing different things. Phil was super responsive and helpful when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in the Catskills. There was something for everyone from 4 years old to 70. The home itself was perfect and had just enough space to enjoy each other’s company, but also afforded privacy. The pool pavilion was the highlight and we enjoyed it every day. We are so thankful for this quality time and was an opportunity to have our entire family under one roof since Covid. Thanks to Philip and his wife for an amazing stay and for answering all of our questions leading up!

This is a beautiful home nestled in the woods of the Catskills. The home was spacious enough for six adults and one child to enjoy. The pool pavilion is gorgeous. The bedrooms are spacious and the bunk room is great for kids.

Wow - such a great place. Amazing location and property. Space and something for everyone to enjoy from 3yo to 70yo. Views were phenomenal from the house and the pool. Three King size rooms, the kids' room and the office for bedrooms. Extra space for lounging in the two living rooms. Pool area was awesome. Large grass area for games, enormous pool and great covered area with bar, dining and lounging area. Pool bath and showers a definite plus. A great break from the city with ample room for a group during social distancing times. Easy ride to hiking and Woodstock when we actually left the property. Hope to be back.

The property is simply wonderful. The home is large and welcoming, the pool is huge and spectacular, and the surroundings are gorgeous. The hosts were very attentive to questions, and responded promptly and effectively to every inquiry. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable stay in the Catskills.
