Absolutely perfect location for our trip. We were able to walk to the graduation ceremony. In fact, we spent the majority of our stay at the apartment sharing meals (kitchen well stocked) and visiting on the balcony while watching the goings on on Washington street.

This little apartment was adorable and the location can’t be beat in the sweet town of Sonora. The hosts were attentive and helpful, there was all the necessities available and more and we took advantage of the balcony several times. The master bed was very comfortable (i should mention that the guest that stayed in the front room said it was quite loud and a bit challenging to sleep but they did have sound machines in both rooms) and there was plenty of space to enjoy breakfast at the counter and play a board game we brought while listening to the hustle and bustle below. Lots of cute restaurants, coffee places and shops in walking distance.

Sonora is a great place for snowboarding skiing. Not too crowded. This is our fourth year staying at Pats place. My kids love Pats place. Central quite. Not crowded just enough traffic. Great host very clean super responsive. Thank you for hosting us.

This is a great place to stay if you want to spend some time in the Sonora area. Located right downtown with loads of shampoo g and restaurants in walking distance. Owners have are very thoughtful! They even provide ear plugs in case the street noise bothers you. I highly recommend this listing!

This apartment was beyond what we expected. The kitchen was well stocked with many things beyond pots and pans. It had coffee, tea, spices and oils among other items. There were candles, games and books. All above a normal listing. The location was great to walk around town. The Fire Museum and Veteran’s Museum were both interesting with helpful people to explain their items. We would definitely return to this property.

Host was responsive and efficient. All of the basics are provided and the unit was very clean and relatively quiet. You are steps away from all that downtown has to offer.

The apartment was as described and pictured. This property was ideally located near restaurants, shops, and museums. Just a couple doors south was the Bagel Bin which was convenient for breakfast and lunch bagels. Definitely take advantage of this "restaurant" for eat in or carry out, but get there early for the best choice. Can't beat the prices at the Bagel Bin. Also take the time to visit the fire museum and the veterans museum. We had a 7 day stay, so parking required us to move the car a few times to avoid ticketing. The location near the fire museum made it easy to park overnight on the days when street parking was limited. The apartment could accommodate 4, but we would not recommend it for an extended stay for 4 adults. Fine for a family of 4 with small children. The hide-a-bed was located in the living room on the street side of the apartment. The apartment is located on the main drag through the town and street noise was relatively loud. The main bedroom is in the back of the apartment and the street noise was hardly noticeable there. The apartment was well stocked with various herbs and spices and coffee, tea, bottled water, and various drinks. We purchased a few staples for the times we ate in the apartment. The interior of the apartment was nicely renovated, but the real pleasure was to be located in one of the old buildings along Washington Street. This is a great place to stay if you want to get the feel of old Sonora. It also served as a very good location to visit neighboring towns and Yosemite.
We also recommend Columbia House restaurant in nearby Columbia. Try their bruschetta and one of their freshly made salads.
A stop by the visitor center on South Washington Street in Sonora is a must. There is some inexpensive public transportation. We didn't use it, but it is available if you care to do the research.
Any questions we had were promptly addressed by the host.

Great little get away
The apartment was very clean and recently remodeled. I got the space for two nights with my daughters and we had a fun little get away. Restaurants are within walking distance and downtown Sonora is awesome. Will definitely be going back with my wife next time.

Everything you need in a great location!
We really enjoyed our stay at this great little apartment in downtown Sonora! The location can't be beat for easy walking to town and the unit is very private with a nice little balcony overlooking the Main Street in Sonora. The unit had absolutely everything our family of 4 needed for a weekend stay including a well equip little kitchen. The bedroom had a very comfortable bed for the adults and while the sofa bed isn't the most comfortable it was fine for the kids. There was some road noise in the front room at night but ear plugs did the trick. The back bedroom was VERY quiet. It is a short 45 minute drive up the mountain to Dodge Ridge and the historic town of Sonora was a wonderful place to wander during the day for the non-skiers. A nice weekend "home base." Would stay again. Thanks!

Very nice and convenient
Patrick was super responsive and made sure we had all we needed, including parking. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen. The bedroom is to the back and very quiet, the living room/kitchen faces the main road and has a balcony. We enjoyed the place very much. Just be aware that the stairs to the apartment are very steep, in case you have a lot of heavy luggage.

Wonderful experience on a Snowy Weekend
We stayed at Pat's and Meredith's place over the Christmas weekend when the area got tons of snow and there was snow falling in Sonora! This place was perfectly located for us to enjoy a day at Yosemite and then go for skiing, so I definitely loved the location. The apartment was warm and cozy with all the amenities. We also loved the balcony, enjoying coffee with rain and flurries falling.
Also, a big thanks to Pat and Meredith for providing a shovel and salt in case snow became heavier. They even offered help with chains as we were new to driving in snow conditions. It was a wonderful gesture that we really appreciated.
All in all, a trip that we will remember forever!

Staying on Washington Street
The unit has very nice amenities. Must be able to climb a number of stairs, great exercise! On the main street of Sonora and close to shopping and restaurants. Sitting on the balcony for our morning coffee or evening glass of wine was fantastic.

Review for 08/13 stay
This property was very clean and had a very nice full kitchen. There was fresh ground coffee and variety of tea. Host left wonderful snack and a sweet message on chalkboard. Plenty of blankets and extra pillows. Our friend who was staying on pullout bed in living room had to move to our bedroom due to noise from traffic outside.

Heart of Downtown Sonora
This property was exactly as described, clean and a great AC unit - there was a heat wave going on and the unit was super comfortable. You walk out the front door and down one block to all the shops and restaurants of downtown Sonora. Nice to find coffee, snacks and some bottled drinks in the fridge on our arrival. Linens and towels were quality and although the unit faces then main thoroughfare through Sonora, the bedroom was in the back of the building and nice and quiet for sleeping. Would have loved to use the balcony - but was just too hot. Lucked out and booked for the "second Saturday" of the month and the shops were open until 8 pm with live music and one restaurant offering an outdoor grill and seating. Would rent again.
