I can't recommend this wonderful cottage enough. Don't hesitate to book this great place you won't be disappointed. The cleanliness, decor, comfort etc was outstanding. We had a 20-25 minute drive to Niagara Falls on quiet roads without any traffic. We spend our days exploring all the great sites then would return back to the cottage and take the quick walk to the beach. We had children ages 7, 5, 2 and 1 with us and they loved the playground at the beach and the time to play in the sand.

My family of 7 (with adults, teens and young children) stayed here for a week. The cottage was clean and all essentials were provided. The kitchen was well stocked and washer and dryer were available. The kids room with bunk beds was great. I did report some minor issues with getting the TV set up, but Teri was able to provide lots of help and got everything resolved. Location was great, as the cottage is close to the beach entrance so there was no need to drive. Evening walks down the Main Street for ice cream were a lot of fun, especially for the kids.

We enjoyed our stay. Great location with a close walk to beach and a short drive to Niagara Falls. Enjoyed the Thursday night food truck event with the complimentary shuttle that picked up at the end of the street. Property met our needs for my family of six plus grandparents. Nice open floor plan downstairs with a nice kitchen and plenty of room for all of us to sit at the large table. Kids loved the spacious bunk bed room. Covered deck outside was nice too. Easy check in process. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful week in Crystal Beach. This house is in a great location. The beach is only a short 5 minute walk from the house. Restaurants are also within walking distance. We traveled to Niagara Falls, which was an easy 30-40 minute drive. The house is a bit older but it has been nicely renovated. Having the washer and dryer was a nice plus! We would definitely stay here again.

Great distance to the beach!!

The property was great. House was great. There was no power for the first 3 days. So we couldn’t get in. Now property manager said we don’t get a refund because we didn’t notify them.
NO POWER!!! NO CELL SERVICE!!! For 3 days. How could we notify them. Notified them as soon as we could.
Teri was great. No problem with her.

The property manager, Teri, was super helpful.
Great communication throughout the process.

This is a loving house. Everything we needed was there. It was so comfortable for all of us.
Feels a lot of people with spaces for younger ones. Beds were comfortable too.
Giant table for all of us. Top on line appliances too.
We had a lovely time for 6 days.
I’d book it again if this came again in my life. So clean and beautiful inside. Sheila B

Very Misleading
We were very disappointed upon our arrival to find that the advertised description and photos of this vacation rental were quite misleading and did not reflect the true and actual condition of this property. The cottage is very old and run down with rickety stairs and squeaky uneven floors. The supposed main floor bedroom with king size bed is actually only a pullout futon with uncomfortable flimsy foam mattresses. It seemed that the sheets were never even changed from a previous renter as they were completely wrinkled and had what appeared to be semen stains on them. Disgusting!! A guest in our party of three with mobility issues had considerable difficulty getting upstairs to alternatively use one of the other bedrooms as the main floor bedroom was unacceptable. There were dirty sheets on one of the kids bunk beds as well and the whole place seemed like it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned but only tidied up in a hurry before our arrival. The television didn’t work when we arrived and we spent a couple hours texting the owner back and forth trying to troubleshoot. The owner did come the next day to address the TV issues and changed the sheets but tried to fluff off the cleaning situation claiming the sheets were just permanently stained and that she should have replaced them.
Upon expressing our dissatisfaction, we were offered a refund for the weeks rental less 1 nights charge plus the cleaning fee but we couldn’t find another place in the area and so ended up staying and tried to make the best of it. We left a day early as previously arranged and were expecting a considerable refund for the inconvenience we had encountered but the owner only gave what calculated to be only a shocking 5% refund of the total rental cost. How is that fair? I would not recommend this vacation rental and question VRBO’s screening process for accepting and allowing the inaccurate advertisement of this property. Perhaps VRBO should be offering me a more realistic refund.

Stay at the beach.
We came for a family wedding with a multiage group and wanted a location close to family and the wedding venue. This location fit the bill well. However there were a few missing pieces for us. These snags for us we’re: lack of adaquate toilet paper, paper towel, soap, lack of ability to open all the windows, challenging cable system, lack of even a few starter packs of coffee and water damage in one of the bedrooms.

Perfect location
We had a very nice stay at Teri’s Crystal Beach house. The house was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was cute, with bars and restaurants within walking distance, and only a short drive to Niagara Falls or Niagara on the Lake.

Good stay
Nice house close to the beach. As described with four spacious rooms and comfy beds. One downside is the lack of basic toiletries. A few small shampoo bottles or soaps would be nice to have in case any of the guests forget :)

Crystal Beach 2021
Property looked just like the photos - beautiful! We found the cottage to be clean and updated , rooms were a good size and the 2 bathrooms was perfect for the 7 of us . My children really enjoyed the room with the 2 bunk beds and having their own television to hook up their electronics.
This cottage is extremely well equipped and we found it had everything we required to make our meals, we were also pleasantly surprised to find a very large fridge that had an ice maker , which came in handy as we ran out of ice for our cooler towards the end of our stay. All in all we enjoyed ourselves very much and discussed renting the same cottage for 2022. Thank you Teri for a great rental and prompt communication ! 😊

An amazing week in Crystal Beach
We had a great time. The house was perfect for 2 families of 4. The kitchen and eating area were large and spacious. The bedrooms upstairs were also big and the kids loved the bunk beds. It was a short walk to the beach which was very convenient with small kids. The beach was great, the water was shallow and warm. Teri was a great property manager and always answered our questions quickly. We will definitely return again one day.

Great Beach cottage!
Overall had a great time at the cottage. Clean plenty of room, although the pictures online make it appear to be much bigger. There were ants but nothing ant traps couldn’t stop. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely time at Crystal Beach!
We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage! The neighborhood is really nice and it is only a short walk to the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and utensils. The floors upstairs are a bit creaky, but otherwise we loved it and would definitely stay again! The only thing I would make a note of is that it says that there are 2 king-sized beds, when really one of them is a single trundle bed which could be converted to a king size, and the mattress on this bed was a bit hard. But otherwise, this home was wonderful!

Amazing home near it all!
The house was updated and clean, only a couple of blocks to Crystal Beach and the restaurants. We have never been to Canada before and this was the perfect vacation four two families with a bunch of little ones! We drove to Toronto one day and Niagara twice as it is only about 30 minutes. The lake is nice and clear and not overcrowded. This house could not have been better for our families! Thank you so much for a memorable first, and not last, trip to our neighbors up North!

Nice house close to the beach
This is a really nice house. Open kitchen, nice large bathrooms and plenty of bedrooms. The outside area is small but adequate. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions we had both before and during our stay.

Property is comfortable. But the doors and closets needs to be upgraded...The back door too.
The furnishings are updated. The house needs to be upgraded in terms of doors kitchen door too to have a safer lock.Blinds needs to be installed on the dining room window for privacy.

Very nice and spacious home!
This home was absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of room for all of our guest! The home was beautifully decorated and stocked with all your "home" essentials! The close proximity to the beach made for a enjoyable day! The home was only 23 mins from Niagra Falls and we enjoyed that as well. The only downside was, there was a smell of urine in the room with 2 bunkbeds when we arrived. I would reccomend to anyone.

Nice cottage with everything we needed.
We had a great time at this house. Unfortunately the first day we arrived the electricity was out because of a storm, but I was able to text the manager and she let us know the issue. She followed up with us to make sure it came back on as well. Communication was wonderful, if I had any questions she always responded within 10 minutes.
Our kids Loved the beach. It was just a short walk down the street so we would go down for an hour after getting back from the Niagara area while dinner was cooking.
There are creeks of an old house, but the new finishes are very nice... we comfortably sat 11 of us at the table and the bedding was enough for all of us as well. exactly what I expect from a cottage.

Loved the house
The house was beautiful inside. Had everything we needed for our vacation. Plenty of room for the family and friends. Never needed to contact Brennan (property manager) but felt confident that she would've been easy to get ahold and help with anything questions we had. Would certainly recommend!
