Wir kommen wieder!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat all unsere Fragen beantwortet. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, wir hatten einen kleinen Kühlschrank, das Bad ist geräumig. Die Ausstattung ist schön und in Stand gehalten. Wir hatten einen großen Balkon mit Hängematte, was super war zum Entspannen (mein Mann hat sogar eine Nacht darin geschlafen). Auf dem Zimmer hatten sie uns eine Glasflasche hingestellt, die wir mit dem Trinkwasser aus der Lobby wiederauffüllen konnten. Es sind nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß zum Hauptplatz oder zur Lagune. Schräg gegenüber vom Hotel ist morgens ein Markt mit Obst und Gemüse, und auch die Mennoniten aus Salamanca verkaufen hier ihre Lebensmittel. In derselben Straße gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und weitere Geschäfte. Alles in allem würden wir hier wieder ein paar Nächte verbringen!

Die Klimaanlage hat die Wände zum Brummen gebracht, was nicht so schlimm ist da wir diese immer nur kurz anmachten, aber es war seltsam:-) Zimmer ohne Balkon scheinen kein Fenster zu haben - auf jeden Fall mit Balkon buchen wenn man mehr als eine Nacht bleibt.

Not worth it

It was close to the bus station

There were no windows in our room. The coffee was out of order. The bed was unreasonably uncomfortable and the shower takes an age to heat up.

Good for young people

La atención es muy amable. Para dormir una noche está bien.

Queda en un segundo nivel. Las escaleras quedan en el exterior sin techo. Como estaba lloviendo, los escalones estaban todos húmedos y resbaladizos. Así que si van sobretodo personas mayores o con problemas de motricidad, no es recomendable. Hasta para ir al baño en el cuarto, tienes escalones.

Good value for a short stay

Great location, nice and friendly staff, nice rooms

Double queen rooms don’t have a window, which is fine for an overnight but would have bothered us if we stayed longer, since there is no natural light in the room.

Magnifico soggiorno a bacalar

Struttura molto pulita e ordinata. Vicina alla stazione ADO degli autobus, al centro e alla laguna di bacalar. La reception ci ha tenuto i bagagli oltre il check-out mentre ci siamo goduti la giornata di sole.

would highly recommend, would stay here again

it was a very clean property, friendly staff and a straight forward check in. comfy rooms with aircon for your convenience. only a 10 min walk to the downtown area and with that you didn’t hear any noise at night

Nice hotel with good location but only for a short stay

This is a nice hotel with a very good location. Overall, the room looked nice, spacious and was clean.

- we didn’t manage to get hot water from the shower. This is ok for a quick shower in the hot weather, however for me not sufficiently hot to wash my hair - at night you can hear everything, people opening and closing the door, people talking at the reception, etc. - our room didn’t have a window (we could have refused it but we only stayed one night so it didn’t matter to us that much)

close to the town and good for the price. spacious bedroom. friendly helpful staff. lovely bathroom and hot shower.

the room didn’t have a window which was a bit disappointing and unusual. the room was also quite noisy, right next to reception and a glass door doesn’t provide much sound proofing. but other than that it was great.

Great for sleeping and staying several days in Bacalar. Nice family run hotel.

Quiet rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, great staff. Mario and Jasmine were very helpful, hot and cold drinking water available, good location not far from ADO and near el mercado. It’s on the second floor of a building so you need to be able to go up/down stairs. Modern pretty new building. Nice lighting by the beds. Outlets by the beds as well. Can ask for hair dryer. Shared front terrace by receptionist area. There are a few chairs and tables in that area. Would stay again.

Could use a few more hooks in the bathroom to put wet towels.

Location. 10 min walk to ADO bus terminal. also quick 10 min walk to lake. there are also small tienda for food water snacks

had no idea my room had no windows when I booked. my room was also right off reception with a door with frosted glass. it didn’t feel private.

Not special... nice room but nothing more

The room was good. Nice spacious and clean room with good bathroom. You have to love cold showers (I love them) because there was no warm water. Really nice to have two free beers, sodas and water at the room every day.

It is no more than a nice room. There are no facillities to chill at the hotel. Just a room to sleep. In the direct surroundings also no hangouts so you need to go to the lake or centre. There are much better options available for this money I believe.
