I love The Jack rose and I’m definitely going back

It was clean.

The aircon was not working and the room was freezing cold.

Itwas a comfortable stay with easy access and very friendly and helpful employees

It was central - a walk away from the mall and very clean.

It was okay but alot can be improved

The receptionist were all friendly…

The tv only plays YouTube no other channels…. No power back up system…. The breakfast needs to improve especial the hot foods everyday chicken livers, backed beans and peppers with onions. The muesli with yoghurt is terrible because the yoghurt becomes runny rather let it be served separately. Ricoffy needs to be changed….. nobody enjoys ricoffy its terrible. Jacobs sticks would cost more or less. On the last day the chicken livers were burnt but still served.

Pretty standard, no major issues.

Staff was really helpful and friendly, even went extra mile to help me find an adaptor in the early hours of the morning. Location good, room very spacious.

Look, you get what you pay for. Nothing was “bad” per se but the place could definitely benefit from a deep clean - for example some marks on the walls and the blinds are quite grimy and the tiles look like they could use a bit of a scrub. But it was a good stay overall.

The receptionists were nice and the breakfast was perfect

I kept on getting knocks that I'm disturbing other people that live there but I had booked for leisure and there was a lot of weed(Marijuana) smell by the passage and could smell it even just after opening my door and I don't like that smell. All the towels in the room had stains, they were not clean. And we found plastic bags from shops and receipts of the people that stayed there before we checkedin ,they were in the closet. Bathroom was leaking water.

The location is good, but I found the hotel to be quite loud and not as clean as in other reviews

Bit of a strange building, that feels more like an apartment block than a hotel. Quite loud with noisy neighbours.

The staff, from arrival to departure, exuded warmth and professionalism, making me feel truly welcomed. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the fantastic buffet breakfast. The variety and quality of the offerings were beyond compare, catering to every palate. It was a delightful culinary experience that set a positive tone for each day. The hotel's commitment to safety was evident, especially with the convenience of underground parking. Knowing that my vehicle was secure added an extra layer of comfort to my stay. Moreover, the proximity to the mall was a major plus. The convenience of being able to walk to a nice mall in the area made my leisure time enjoyable, adding to the overall positive experience. In summary, the Jack Rose Hotel stands out not only for its amenities and safety measures but also for its attentive staff and culinary excellence. A five-star stay that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable hotel experience.

They need to up their game,the location is great

The location was okay.the room was spacious and secure parking.

The rooms were not clean to hotel standards. The plates were dirty, The zinc had some blue mould, the blankets were itchy,for some reason there is a resturant but it was closed at 5pm.

The fact that it was cheap the day I booked.

It’s never really clean, cockroaches just appear, they are as expensive as other places if not more such as Roadlodge but their establishment is not clean, the staff is mid, I had a fall out with owners before so they still owe me money from like June 2023, only did the booking because I had a meeting in Rosebank and needed to be within walking distance, otherwise I’m not a fan

Hilfsbereites nettes Personal auch im Restaurant

Kein Safe oder Möglichkeit Wertsachen an der Reception zu deponieren.

Lovely place, loads of potential, but needs minor adjustments.

Spacious, balcony, friendly staff, own kitchen, furniture, wifi. Shower was awesome!

Bedside lamps not working. Lights outside room in hall was too bright during night. The echo in the main area can be a little disturbing. Breakfast needs some fixing up. Who ever did the paint job didn't do a great job.

The stay was so-so. Left a little bit to be desired, regarding lack of back-up power for the extended load-shedding peri

Location was convenient.

The room quality is not the same as in the pictures, especially for the pricing. I was not impresses with not having back-up power for the room, as I was on a work trip and needed to connect my computer to a plug and also needed WiFi. The breakfast was also so-so.

Fantastic, good value, good location.

The reception staff were fantastic, very attentive. The location is within walking distance to the Netcare Hospital and the Rosebank Mall. The Wifi was super fast. The buffet breakfast was amazing, such a variety, from cereals, yoghurts, fruit salad, muffins to bacon & eggs or omelet's. REAL value for money.

Room was dirty, toilet dirty, loud music from reception, air conditioner was not working in the rooms, dirty extra blanket with blood stains, and their waterfall inside the hotel the water made noise all night

The noise of other and they should put the carpets in the room before they are room is tiles so tile is cold in winter and the windows some windows are broken it put the wind inside the room so it's cold

The best place to stay in Rosebank

It was my second stay there and I was again very happy. I enjoyed very generous and tasty breakfast. Also worth pointing is that the WiFi is very good, working even during load shedding. Room was again very big and everything needed was there. There is a well equipped kitchenette. Bed was comfortable.
