Fair accommodation in excellent location

Perfectly good but not quite a boutique hotel. What raises it above standard is the location at the heart of town with free parking plus the excellent lake placid brewery pub next door. You can put your name on the waitlist at the pub, which for its great beer and good food is worth waiting for, then saunter down when they text you that your table is ready.

Breakfast was perfunctory, Luke warm eggs and bacon, really just basic cereal and toast.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Room was updated and very clean. staff at desk was very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was not good. Location did not work out well for our group, as one of our travelers could not walk long distances.

Nice quiet Inn close to everything.

Loved the hotel. Very clean, staff was great and especially like how close it was to Main Street and downtown Lake Placid.

Loved the hotel but the parking is very difficult especially during the snowy winter months. There are not enough parking spaces to begin with and then when it is snowing out people can't see where the lines are so there are even less spots available.

Awesome & Comfortable Location to Stay & Enjoy

The staff (Mila & day desk clerk) were friendly & helpful. The breakfast was delicious & good variety. The location was perfect. The room & bath were big & comfortable.

I had the dnd on the door . Went for breakfast, walked back to my room and Minutes later a male staff member was opening my room door- I don’t know who was more surprised when the door Opened .. him or my husband .. no way he missed the dnd - it hangs off the handle you hold to get into the room. So I'm assuming the rooms are entered even when the dnd sign is on the door!!! NOT ACCEPTABLE

We spent 2 nights. They did not clean once. The room was given to us past 6pm. They stated that “it was getting prepared”.

Not the best first impression, but overall good stay.

Nice amenities, some unique things I’ve never seen before. Cookies and cocoa in the lobby, a cool ice pellet machine, hot breakfast every morning, good size rooms, very attentive staff.

Unfortunately our very first impression was not great… the staff that checked me in was noticeably sick. Sneezing, coughing and touching his nose and then touching credit card, license and room key made me uneasy during the transaction. The service itself was good, but maybe shouldn’t have been at work so sick. Several of our party checking in noticed the same. Again, his service was not the issue, just the possibility of spreading sickness to all the guests from this weekend.

We stayed last year for the holiday stroll and this year because it's a great property and location.

Front desk service was awesome. Needed extra blanket they accomdated us. Room 100 was extra nice.

Location was amazing and staff was very friendly

Cleaning was subpar. Bathroom corners and areas were built up with dirt. Room was ok. Very very loud noise transparency. It felt like the other rooms were in our room and the doors slammed really loud. So not relaxing.

This was a near perfect place to stay.

Very clean and modern, seemed almost like new. Breakfast was nice with healthy choices.

Lighting in the room was insufficient in central counter area. Could have added one or two recessed lights.

Nice modern hotel in a great location- was a great place to recharge after a long day of hiking.

The breakfast was very tasty, and had a good variety… I really enjoyed the modern open feel of our room- very spacious!!

Parking was a little tight. Square toilet was a little odd to sit on at first.

I raced ironman and the location was perfect. It was in walking distance ti the transition tents at the oval and the swim start. The day was great, comfortable abd the staff was very helpful! Very clean hotel overall! Would consider this hotel again!!!

Unbelievable location to Mirror Lake and adorable town for Iron Man competition.

Great location for the IronMan Race in July! Amazing view of Mirror Lake. Fantastic location for athlete and family, right at the start line. Perfect access to transition area/finish line. Town was short walk. Breakfast was big and yummy. Very clean hotel.

No real complaints about this hotel. Very happy with it. If I had to say anything maybe say that bathroom door didn't latch/lock and garbage wasn't collected (however I could have called and I am sure staff would have picked up, they were very nice).

Just basic breakfast

Shower floor very slippery! Absolutely no pictures on walls. Not true … one car for each room! Second room car had to park 1/4 miles away!
