Welcome to Blue Pearl Beach Cottage! Our amazing Gulf get away is nestled in the peaceful beach community of Playa San Luis! You'll fall in love with this immaculate family-friendly retreat located an easy five-minute stroll from uncrowded and pristine beaches. Enjoy water sports, fishing, beachcombing, and the natural beauty of this quiet region situated on the western tip of Galveston Island. Relax in the sun and sea breezes away from the hustle and bustle, or take a drive to the Island's shopping, entertainment, and sight-seeing venues. Whether you relish quiet solitude or high-energy fun, the best of both worlds is yours for the taking!

Our goal is to provide everything you need to feel at home for beach experience. The living room, dining room, and kitchen form a spacious open-concept layout bathed in natural light from the large windows. Enjoy the laid-back comfort of beautiful furnishings and the convenience of high-end electronics, appliances, and fixtures. With its three bedrooms and two bathrooms, this tranquil beach retreat easily accommodates up to eight people. Every room has air conditioning and is equipped with a ceiling fan for extra comfort. A nice selection of board games, books, free High Speed Internet Wi-Fi and Cable TV channels are provided for your entertainment. Plus, you can kick-back on the deck and enjoy the ocean view, salty sea air, and soothing sound of waves rolling onto the shore. Breathe deep and exhale your cares away!

The living room has a large flat HDTV screen where you can enjoy a selection of channels. There is a comfy couch and two swivel chairs, coffee table, end table, and lamps for a cozy ambiance.

The dining room includes a long acacia wood dining table, two benches, and two chairs that easily accommodate eight people to enjoy nice meals together.

The kitchen has quartz countertops and is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances, utensils, cookware, dishes, toaster, blender, coffee-maker. There are three bar stools at the breakfast kitchen bar. There is a utility closet with washer and dryer.

The three bedrooms are comfortably furnished to accommodate eight people. The master bedroom and second bedroom include each a queen size bed with a brand new latex mattress and new linens, a 40" HD flat screen TV, a chest, night stands, lamps, rugs, and a closet. Both bedrooms have large windows. The third bedroom includes two bunk beds (4 twins), a night stand, a lamp, and a closet.

The master bath has a tub and shower, two sinks, and a toilet. There is a second full bath in the hallway with a walk-in shower, toilet, and sink. We provide bath towels. Both bathrooms have quartz countertops and tile floors.

The deck is spacious with Adirondack style chairs and a small dining table. It is peaceful and a great place to sit and relax with views of the ocean.

Owners and their guests have access to the shared community pool of Playa San Luis and the code for the gate is provided with your stay. It has a fabulous view of the ocean and the bay. The pool is a great place to go after a day at the beach. With unobstructed views, you can watch beautiful sunsets poolside. There is also a covered picnic area and charcoal grills if you want to cook and eat while hanging out at the pool. We provide beach towels.

The house features a private grassy area downstairs and an outdoor shower for you to use after the beach. You will enjoy the barbecue (please bring your own charcoal). The outdoor storage closet is stocked with body boards, beach chairs, and sand toys. The parking includes a two-car driveway plus two additional spaces underneath the house, exclusive to the main house.

Beautiful beach house perfect for families with kids. Had a lovely beach weekend with family friends and kids ages 5-10. Short walk to the beach. House is well stocked with games for all ages and plenty of beach stuff (chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc.). Very responsive host. Would definitely book again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway! The house was well equipped for cooking, beds were very comfortable, furnishings very tasteful and it’s just a short walk to the beach. This place has everything you’ll need. The green space in front of the house is an added bonus.

House was as expected. Very clean, up to date & all the beach accessories you need. Short walk to the beach…but bring your bug spray!! Beds were comfortable & the showers were great. Quiet neighborhood and outside the crowds of Galveston. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

The house is equipped with all you need for a beach trip. We overpacked chairs and wagons but the house already comes with plenty of stuff. The inside is pretty comfortable for 8 people and it was perfect for 2 families with kids. The walk to the beach is less than 3 minutes and it’s sitting on a private beach (no driving around).

We had a wonderful visit at the Blue Pearl Beach Cottage! Our family had everything we needed here for a relaxing beach vacation. The house was well appointed and very clean. We loved having beach chairs, toys, and a wagon available to decrease what we needed to pack. The house was a short walk to the beach, making it especially perfect for our family with young kids. We hope to come again!

We had issues with broken doorknobs, malfunctioning dryer and door locks. Overall cleanliness of interior and exterior of the home was very poor. This is a very nice neighborhood and I have no doubt the property would be much better if it was clean and maintained. For perspective we stayed here at the end we of the summer season. Owner was quick to respond to the many questions and concerns that came up during my family’s stay but did not necessarily resolve issues like broken off exterior door handle.

Wow! We really enjoyed our stay. It was very well stocked - it had everything you could think of and everything we needed. There were plenty of beach chairs and beach toys. Fully stocked kitchen. The location was great. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. Nice little touches throughout the house. Beautiful view. This was a step above!

Gorgeous house with everything needed for the perfect vacation. The house was great for my family of 5. Kitchen was well stocked with everything plus some. I would suggest getting your groceries at Walmart and stocking up as it is about a 20 min. drive away from the house. If you are looking for a laid back, quiet vacation this is the perfect spot. Cherry was wonderful to work with!

This house was amazing! Our families fit perfectly, the kiddos were entertained and it was just a 30 second drive to the pool or beach. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans to cook.Cherry was so kind and responsive. Will definitely be back!!!!

We absolutely loved our time at the Blue Pearl! We went with our family and another family- both with kids aged 2-5. The accommodations worked perfectly. The beach was an easy walk from the house and the wagon made it even better for hauling our things. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to have every meal at the house. The owner made communication so easy and immediately responded to any questions I had. I highly recommend this beach house for anyone looking for a Galveston getaway! We will definitely go back!

Absolutely everything you need for a family getaway! Clean, comfortable beds, decorated lovely, great kitchen items, plenty of everything. The beach items were more than enough including beach chairs, wagon, umbrella, toys, etc. Great beach and the neighborhood was fantastic and we always felt safe. Communication with owner was fantastic! We loved that it was a little away from the hustle of town. Stop at Seven Seas mart . And have cash for the Ice cream 🍦 truck 💜! Will definitely return…. The house was in perfect condition, the kitchen is well stocked as far as appliances and utensils go, the neighborhood is great and within easy access to the beach. My family and I had a great time and Cherry was superb in her response and helping us out (we left an it behind and she went above and beyond to make sure we could get it back). I’m very pleased with the experience and would def come back again.

Blue Pearl Beach was the best maintained beach rental in Galveston. After enduring two back to back hurricanes in 2021, you automatically assess homes and businesses. There were numerous rentals available, but I was so thankful we selected the Blue Pearl Beach. It was affordable, clean, a lot of extras that you don’t even see in the pictures. I told Cherry we will definitely be back again. We weren’t able to enjoy the beach because it was so cold during our stay, but we had so much fun just enjoying all that Galveston has to offer.

The Blue Pearl was absolutely wonderful! From the ease of working with the host to the location to the size and beauty of the home; all were fantastic. Cherry is incredibly helpful and welcoming. The house was very clean and decorated beautifully. The location was an easy walk to the beach; no golf cart needed. The host provides a plethora of beach items, including a nice sturdy wagon to carry all our stuff. Due to the very chilly wind, we spent a lot of time on the swing or in one of the chairs on the deck listening to the ocean. The view is incredibly peaceful. Overall, we would love to stay here again!

Lovely home and host. House is exactly as pictured and very cozy. It has everything that you need to cook meals away from home. Area is nice and quiet and beach was nice too. The host is very quick to reply to communications and very accommodating. We had an issue with our initial reservation due to having a sick infant and she helped us out by moving the date a few days. Highly recommend this place!

We have stayed at Blue Pearl 2 years now. It’s a beautiful home and perfect for the 6 of us. The beach is a short walk and Cherry has made it easy to get to and from the beach by supplying a wagon, umbrellas, and beach chairs. Beach is quiet and clean. Not overcrowded. The only complaint I have is that it takes some planning as going into Galveston is not a quick drive but for us the trade off for a nice clean home and a quiet beach is worth the inconvenience of a longer drive for shopping and attractions. We will choose the place again and again.

We had an amazing time in Galveston at the Blue Pearl! The home is lovely, very clean, and had enough room for 7 guests without feeling too crowded. The location is perfect, nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a view of the ocean from the balcony. The owner has great communication and we had no real issues to be concerned with. We will definitely plan to stay here again on our next trip to Galveston!

Wonderful stay in a quiet neighborhood

We stayed in this home for a week at the end of May 2022. The neighborhood is small and quiet (there is some new home construction but my children napped through it so it was not bad). There is direct access to a beach that was not crowded, had no cars and was pretty clean about 7 houses away from this home’s driveway. The home was stocked with everything that we needed for the week. We had excellent communication with Cherry. There was a need for the A/C to be checked and not only was it fixed promptly but she followed up immediately. The house is clean. The beds were comfortable. Towels were wonderful, fluffy and soft. The beach nearby was excellent for a family with young children. They have a wagon with beach toys and boogie boards, etc available to use. While staying at this home, you have access to a pool. It’s across the main street but it wasn’t really worth it. It’s small and unsupervised so it wasn’t always the cleanest (debris from trees and a lot of birds around). We would definitely stay here again!
