The cabin was very clean and felt brand new. It was the best place to stay to really disconnect from the world. The views are beautiful, you are really up there! The host was easy to contact and very helpful. Must stay!

Spent 4 days with our daughter and her family. Cabin was perfect for our group of five. Enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and the view!

Our family of 6 from Texas wanted to spend a few days exploring the Appalachian Mountains after traveling to the area for a wedding. This mountain cabin turned out to be perfect for us. It is situated in the upper elevations of the mountains outside Bryson City. The peaceful quiet atmosphere is worth the 20-30 minute scenic drive up the mountain. The house is well equipped with comfortable accommodations. Each bedroom with bath is on a different floor which provides privacy. We enjoyed bird watching and grilling on the porch, relaxing in the hot tub after hiking, and a warm fire at the touch of a button to take the chill off. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

The cabin is incredibly nice and well situated in the Alaraka Mountains. The views are picturesque and the cabin is perfect! From the hot tub on the back deck to the reading nook on the 2nd floor, this cabin offered everything needed for a relaxing vacation in the Bryson City area. The host has great communication! She sent an email with tons of good info before the trip and even called the night before. Talk about customer service! Thank you for allowing us into your home. I would definitely recommend you stay here!

We met our family from TN and had an amazing weekend! The house was so cozy, well stocked, and just so cute. The beds were so comfortable (which automatically deserves 5 stars in my opinion!). Carrie, the owner, called personally the day before our trip to check in with us, and make sure we didn’t have any questions about the home. The drive up to the house is a little intense & takes some time to get to town, but worth it. Beautiful views and a beautiful cabin!! We will definitely book this home again in the future. Thank you for a great weekend!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Everything was clean and it was a tranquil, beautiful location. Hot tub and fire pit are great. We had a wifi issue but host worked quickly to correct it. One thing to note is that the drive to the cabin is steep, with lots of turns.

Stayed at this lovely cabin high on the mountain. Cabin was really nice, with comfortable furnishings, a spectacular view, and everything we needed for four adults and two kids to be comfortable and enjoy ourselves for five days.

We had a great post-Thanksgiving getaway and this property was perfect. We enjoyed 3 days at the house and took the kids to The Polar Express. Thank you! We enjoyed it.

A few friends decided to get away from it all. This place was perfect... Beautiful views, extremely well equipped kitchen (those spices were so well organized!), hot tub, super easy fire pit, and foosball really made for a great time. The place is remote, which is exactly what we were looking for. We did take a day trip to nearby Bryson City. The Great Smoky National Park is there as well as some killer beer and burgers at Nantahala Brewing. Highly recommended. We can't wait to go back!

Over all great, the cabin was awesome the views were great,
Didn't have great cellphone service, but I knew that going in.... Great location with no long rides to the areas...NOC,Bryson city Cherokee, Maggie valley and Fontana Lake...highly recommend this cabin

We found the home to beautiful and well stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware and bakeware. Loved all the homey touches and comfortable furniture. The views are stunning, but the road up is crazy, 4 wheel drive or all wheel would be best for sure as they suggested, we had 2 SUVs and made it up fine. The trash situation was an issue, I would suggest having 2 barrels outside or one large one, especially for guests staying a week. All in all we made great memories and enjoyed the seclusion of the cabin and ability to slow down. One final note, be careful on the stairs it’s very easy to misstep and fall coming down the upstairs set especially where the stairs change color and direction. I’d suggest a watch your step sign or something to draw your attention to that section. Stay to the left to help avoid a fall.

It was a perfect getaway for my husband and I! We loved the views, hot tub, and near hiking trails!

The drive to the cabin was a little scary, but we found it easily with the instructions we were given. The cabin was gorgeous, and stocked with everything we could want. The wifi was adequate, but the bedroom downstairs didn’t get it very well. Something to extend it downstairs would be helpful. We’re hoping to come again next year.

The road is curvy but the view is fabulous. We had some issues with the garbage and toiletries at the beginning because the house keeper made a mistake. Carrie the owner was able to send someone over a few days later to fix the issues. Over all the stay has been a great experience and I'd recommend it to others.

We had an incredible time. The cabin is beautiful, well stocked and cozy. We grilled every night and enjoyed the fire pit as well, made s’mores and had a great time with family. The views are breathtaking.

The owner,Carrie, was very proactive in reaching out and making sure you had proper directions. Road in is steep but no issues in summer with SUV. Great newer house with well equipped kitchen. Loved the decks in the morning and evenings. Lovely place.

Great home, great views
Host was very communicative before and during our stay. Home was well stocked and in great shape. Pictures were 100% accurate. View, hot tub, grill, fire pit, appliances…all worked well.
House had everything you need to host a group comfortably from kitchen tools to wine glasses to books and games for those rainy days.
Small mechanical issue with the home was quickly fixed and the owner very graciously mailed me back a left item.
The trek up to the cabin is steep and curvy, so be prepared but it’s well worth the journey!

The cabin was super clean with everything we needed! The kitchen was not only stocked with all the necessary cookware, but a spice cabinet with olive oil and any spices we needed. We had some unlucky weather so enjoyed the foosball, game cabinet, crosswords, kids books, and hot tub! Because of rain we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the fire pit, but it looked nice and there was even a pile of firewood ready for the next guest. The drive up/down the mountain wasn’t scary, but it did feel slow and windy (took about 30 min to get down into town). Carrie the host called ahead of time, was super nice and made sure we were all set. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway away from hustle and bustle.
