About this house rental
This is a brand new home with all new furniture & finishes. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It is located less than 2 blocks from the French Quarter. It is centrally located in the city, so walk out your front door & see the city skyline and Louis Armstrong Park and be within minutes of anywhere in the city. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, coffee shops & galleries nearby and within a 5 minute walk. The house is brand new and finished & furnished with great attention to detail.
It is a very cozy, New Orleans inspired unit. Very colorful with soft finishes to make you feel at home. It’s a contemporary version of a traditional New Orleans style camelback. It has exposed cypress beams hand cut from deep in the bayou. And offers lots of light. From the art, to the colors, to the architectural design, it was inspired by the historic neighborhood around.
The house as a whole home water filter with all the various filters on it. So the water coming from all the fixtures is clean, filtered water.
To use the AC: the house has split systems, meaning each room has it’s on AC unit. There are white remotes that work for all of the receiver heads. Just point the remote at the unit on the wall & adjust.
Once you have the remote: click the mode button (you will find this on the top left of the remote on the part under the cover) to the desired type of air (hot or cold). The little snowflake is cold and the sun icon is hot. Once you are on the correct mode, push the on button. The unit should turn on. And then adjust the temperature with the up & down arrows to what you want.

We got to our location late(wee hours of the morning) and we was still waiting on host to send code to access the home. We didnt get it til the next day so we had to get an hotel for the night. Host did refund partial stay. The house was ok just has an old house smell, great location

The home was spacious and well stocked. The owner was responsive with the few questions we had. Nice VRBO for a family of 5!

The property itself was fine and reasonably fit our group of 6 adults. The main issues was it was usually cold the weekend we stayed in New Orleans and the AC/heaters didn't heat.

We took our son and his soon to be bride on a small weekend getaway. She had never been to New Orleans. We absolutely loved this locations! So close to all the things we wanted to do. Ubers found us with no problem. We felt safe leaving our car on the street. The owner was always available and amazing. I will for sure come back and try to stay at this place again.

We enjoyed our stay here! It was a cute home for our size family. The beds were so comfortable! My young adult daughters really loved the style of the home. 😁The check in process was a bit delayed but the owner was very apologetic and was quick to respond with any questions I had.

David was a great host. Communication was awesome. Short walk to French Quarter made for a great guys trip. We would definitely stay here again

Clean home, quiet street.
It’s a bit of a walk to French Quarter going around Louis Armstrong park. When the park gates are open you can walk through. Overall good location about 20 min walk to central French Quarter. 3 separate sleeping areas is nice.

Great location! It’s located a quick walk to bourbon street. The house comfortably fit 6 adults and the owner accommodated an early arrival for two that landed early. We loved this quiet cute home!

This house was perfect for my family & friends for a few days in New Orleans. Loved the neighborhood and the accessibility to easily walk to the quarter (especially through Louis Armstrong Park).
Lots of great food and drink options nearby as well!

The house was comfortable and clean and very close to the French quarter. Could walk almost everywhere. On the down side, it wasn’t as large as the photos described and a few things were broken. The coffee pot and one of the barstools. Fortunately a kuerig was available. We were five women staying there, there were five towels but no where to hang them to dry. No hand towels in the downstairs bathroom or kitchen. Also we had issues with the lock not working. It would work fine but the next time it would lock us out and we would have to try multiple times before it opened. I would definitely stay there again if some upgrades were done.

This is an absolutely beautiful property! Within close walking distance to the French Quarter, we were near to every attraction we wanted to see and were able to save on costly parking fees. Even at night, we walked around the Treme neighborhood area and felt comfortable.
Unfortunately, communication with the host was almost nonexistent. We received no emails or any type of check-in or check-out instructions, and had to call the host 4 times to receive the code to the door. Other than this, our stay was delightful and the NOLA area was beautiful!

The location is at the top of the French Quarter. A short 10 minute walk to Bourbon Street and 20 minutes to Jackson Square. The space was cozy and quiet and just the right amount of space for 6 people. Would definitely book here again in the future!

With a larger family, it is sometimes hard finding somewhere to stay. We prefer not to eat all our meals out so booked a home. Once we got there, we realized there was no stove or grill. Nice house others

House is nice, AC didn't appear to work. Has ceiling fans in two of three bedrooms. House did not have hair dryer and was out of toilet paper. Contacted own, who sent someone over, but AC still did not work. Not enough seating for a house that sleeps 6. House is darling, but smells a bit of mold. Neighborhood seems sketch as you have to walk around Louis Armstrong park and there were some sketch characters around there late at night. Recommend Lift/Uber back to house after dark.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. It was very spacious and we never felt cramped. The location was in walking distance to everything. I felt safe in my group and we had plenty of parking.

David didn't send us information for getting into the space. We had awkward time while waiting since there seemed to be two front doors. Lack of communication and clarity was key to that. Once in we were happy that our friends didn't join as the third "bedroom" is in the area that leads to the upstairs bedrooms from the kitchen. I am guessing David is busy as there are several things that need attention. Shower upstairs tricky to get toggle to stick, faucet in bathroom near kitchen loose, and some other items like bottom latch very loose on front door makes it seem easy for forcing the door open. Having a welcome paper with insights and passwords would be nice too. We were able to make our stay good enough. But we are rethinking relying on VRBO offers.

Everything was close we could walk just about everywhere did not stay home a lot just to shower cool off and sleep. Overall liked it wish I could have booked it a little longer.

Hello the location is perfect, close to everything! However it was a couple things to note It was not enough towels or tissue. The sheets was bleached, not enough covers and the window in the bathroom upstairs need a curtain. The trash outside the house was very smelly and was filled with maggots.

Great little house, was exactly how described. Located behind community counter so street parking was easy. We are easy going and felt safe in the neighborhood.

This house felt cozy! We were there for 4 days and throughout those days it was an awesome stay!
Second to last day we got to view what we thought at first was a parade but it ended up being a Funeral, The culture is so rich in this neighborhood and we definitely enjoyed our stay!
Our property manager gave us great places where we could go and was very tentative when it was time to check in! The cleanliness was great, the AC in this heat was AMAZING and we LOVED the porch at night! We will definitely be back we love NOLA and this house just made it that much more special!

Our stay in New Orleans hosted by Nick was undeniably one of the best experiences we've had. The newly remodeled house was both visually stunning and incredibly functional. Nick's responsiveness and recommendations elevated our trip to a whole new level. Highly recommended for an exceptional stay in New Orleans!

This property is great if you want to be in a quiet area but still in walking distance to everything. The house was well stocked with necessities and an easy stay for 8. Easy check in and check and the front porch was super! Definitely recommend

We stayed in this home for a five night stay (my husband's 40th bday). Please be aware you have to walk through the downstairs bedroom to get to the two upstairs bedrooms. Besides that, the home was super comfortable and had all amenities we needed (hair dryer, coffee maker and pods, shampoo/soap, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, etc). The location was GREAT! There is a cute coffee shop and mini Mart 2 blocks away. The house is on the back side of the Louis Armstrong park, so during the day you can cut through and be in the French quarter in less than a 10 minute walk, but at night they lock the park, so I'd highly recommend Ubering home.we would definitely rent this place again, thank you David for an amazing stay!

We had a great stay. The house was exactly as described. Walking distance to everything. Since we had never been to New Orleans, David was kind enough to recommend some local restaurants to visit. There is even a little coffee shop down the street. Yes, the street was busy and there is a rec center across the street, but it was not noisy and did not bother us. We would definitely stay again.

Don’t be put off by location, on the Treme border with French Q.
Less than a mile walk to everything or east Ubers. We walked back for 5 nights in a row and only passed by friendly people.
The place is brand new, so there were some minor bumps but David responded happily and quickly.
for 6 adults, quite a bargain

This is a nice updated place to stay. Considering we were there for Mardi Gras weekend the price was fair as well.

David was perfectly fine to speak with and helpful. However when we got to the property not only was it a terrible neighborhood there was no soap there was no sponges there were no hangers and they were no hooks to hang. Your towel on the lightbulbs are out in the bedrooms two of them And they were things that were just not correct for three people staying for three nights. The details was not paid attention to it anyway. I called the owner and I told him all the things that he needs to do. I am a VRBO renter over several years and I know how to have a house ready for guests and the shower hooks were the flimsy. The shower curtain was filthy, and it fell down. There was several things wrong in this house not to mention the parking lot with trucks going in and out in the community center across the street the neighborhood up is not a good one renter beware

House was a good spot for friends and I to rest at between parades and eating everything in sight. About 10 minute walk to get into the heart of the French Quarter, and seemed safe enough for four women. The host did get food delivered to the home though, and the poor delivery driver was confused along with my friends. I messaged the owner to state his food was at the door and hopefully it got to him because it wasn’t there when we left about 10 minutes later. Super odd experience for everyone involved. One of the bathrooms was missing hand soap completely, and there were only 2 rolls of toilet paper to last 4 nights for 4 people. Beds were comfy enough and not much road noise can be heard, so it was an ok stay.

We had a great time staying here. The host was very accommodating. House was clean and cozy. Location was perfect for checking out the city for the weekend.

The place was beautiful, no problems other than the heating with the water but we had to flip the breaker back on, which is understandable. The owner was really fast responding. I would definitely book again in the future

Great overall stay, and the location was perfect for a short trip to visit the French Quarter. Easy to find a spot for on-street parking. Listing was exactly as described and check-in/out was super simple and easy. Loved how close it was to all of the action and it was far enough that it provided a peaceful retreat to the more lively areas. Close enough for a quick 20 minute walk to Frenchman or Bourbon and a very quick and inexpensive Uber trip back. Will be back.

The experience we had was wonderful at the property. Questions were answered quickly,
Everything was easy to get to from this location, loved sitting on the porch with morning coffee.
There just needs to be way more hangers as 6 is not enough for a 3 bedroom location

I had to message the owner for the check-in code less than 24 hours before our stay because he hadn’t sent it yet. There was barely any warm water for showers.
On our last night, there was a knock at our door and a pizza left on our doorstep. We hadn’t ordered anything and there wasn’t an address on the box so assuming it was the wrong address we trashed it. About 30 minutes a man without a shirt on knocked on our door. He asked if a pizza was delivered to us. We said yes. He asked where it was. We said it was in the trash. He asked why. We told him we didn’t order it and didn’t know whose it was so we trashed it. He asked to come in and see it. We said no. He told us we needed to pay him money for the pizza. We said no it wasn’t our error and that he needed to contact the delivery service. After he kept on without ever introducing himself we said we’re done with this conversation and shut the door. Within about 5 minutes he came back and said this was his VRBO (still not providing a name) that we couldn’t have a late check-out or store our luggage the next day (which he previously agreed to in messages). All we said was ok and he left again. Another 5 or so minutes later he came back a third time asking for his pizza. I asked him his name and he said it was David Fuselier, which confirmed to me it was the name of the person I’d previously messaged about the property. We told him, like we had previously said it was in the trash. He asked why and we told him again we hadn’t ordered it, didn’t know whose it was, and had no way of knowing whose it was before we trashed it. He asked to see it again so we pointed to the trash can where the box was sticking up. He said he wanted to see inside the box so we brought it over and showed the pizza jumbled up inside and he asked why we’d do that. We said we’ve already explained that it wasn’t our fault it was delivered to the wrong address. During this conversation he called us liars and told us again we had to be out by 11:00 the next day then left. Within minutes he sent me a message via VRBO and said “I want y’all out by 11. Y’all are some thieves. I also want $” for the pizza and he added a pizza fee to my VRBO account.
After all this we didn’t feel safe staying in the rental with him so close by and with access to enter at any moment. We quickly packed our things, booked a hotel room, called an Uber, sacked all our trash, left, locked door, and messaged him we left. Then I contacted VRBO.
