Great location!! Alot of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Pool bar was a plus.

Went with friends for the weekend they got an interior room and we got a room by the street across the hall. First night(Friday night) we were up all night with the noise of the road people down below yelling, cars racing up and down the street. My friends said they had no problems. If I had know for two nights I would be awoken all night long or given the opportunity to change rooms so I could have slept that would have been wonderful. I have stayed in town before at other hotels that informed me of the chance for noise and offered to move or earplugs. For the amount of money we spent on the room it would have been appreciated

Always a great place to stay in New Orleans. Great location. Walking distance to all of downtown.

I loved everything about the place! Super gorgeous and all of the staff was very professional. Exactly what you would expect from a hotel of that caliber. Except for the pool bar... it seemed like a different world. Staff was not professional, and it seemed like they were under or short staffed. People walked away for not being served at the bar. We had to complain out loud at one point, and the staff just didn't seem to care. Until we did, it felt like we were being ignored. Nothing like the bar staff at the Sazerac or anywhere else downstairs.

The Roosevelt is beautiful. One thing, we had a pretty view of the river behind The Montelone sign, however we could barely see it because our windows were filthy. I was surprised by that at a luxury hotel. I did inform the front desk on our way out. They apologized.

Liked everything one wish is the pool to be bigger

Amazing stay! Customer service was 10/10!! Everyone from the doormen to the concierge to housekeeping! Room smelled so good and was very clean. Towels and sheets were clean. Loved all the amenities. The location was amazing to everything. Bourbon was a short 5 minute walk. Great restaurants near so ubering and lyfting was not an issue. Would stay here everytime!

Was woken up at 4:30am with a fire alarm going off telling me to exit the building. In a panic i grab my wallet and my phone go out inside in my pajamas 20 minutes later to find out it was a false alarm could not find no staff no security go back to my room at least try and don’t have a key because it’s in the room my friends were on the 5th floor and 12thfloor had no idea i was even out of my room any who i love this place but i was very disappointed on how it was handled. I found out from another guest that it was a false alarm

Lovely hotel. Stay was very nice.

The hotel is good, but I would not rate it as "excellent" if you consider it as a five-star hotel.
For example, there was only one employee at the reception, and you have to stand in line for almost 20 minutes.
The service and quality of food are not bad, but do not correspond to a five-star hotel.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Staff beyond helpful and knowledgeable. Will return :)

Great place!

Everything was beautiful! The overall cleanliness of the room was great, however, the daily maintenance was subpar. My sister and I accidentally smudged the bedroom mirror out first night there and it was never cleaned in the 7 days we stayed. Also, the bathroom was not properly swept daily. Outside of that everything was perfect!

I will NEVER EVER book this hotel again. I was coming down for Essence Festival weekend, I booked my hotel stay for me and my husband a few weeks prior to my trip. I ended up having flight issues and had to wait until next day to be able to get to New Orleans. I contacted the hotel and booking agent and it was notated on my account that I will have a late check in for the next day. Well I get to the hotel after dealing with 4 different flight issues to get there. I get there and they cancelled my hotel. I asked why, the staff stated she see the note saying I would have a late check in and she didn’t understand why it was cancelled, so when the manager get there after his lunch after 30 mins he began to tell me he cancelled it bc the room was in need and they were fully booked. I said I don’t care about that because my room was paid for the entire weekend weeks in advance so no matter if I had a late check in, my paid room should’ve been available when I got there. I’m sure he cancelled my room to upsell it for a higher price to someone else. No empathy or anything for having me stranded with no place to go during that busy weekend. Thank God a hotel around the corner was available and will be me and my family and friends go to place. I’m a travel advisor and this place will never be recommended. Worst experience ever!!!! The manager needs to be fired for how he handled this situation with his nonchalant attitude.

I just spent over $1000 for three nights in a suite at the Roosevelt in New Orleans. I took care of childcare in Clt, grabbed my husband, and got out of town. TWO OF THE THREE NIGHTS we had alarms sounding randomly. They were unbelievably loud and completely false. They lasted between midnight and 2am on Monday night and then from 3am to 4:30am Thursday morning. When I messaged the Consierge, he told me to stop by the desk in the morning. There was a note to comp our room service Monday (about $125). Ummm not even CLOSE to making up any ground. It’s almost insulting. I paid $1000 to sleep three nights and two of those were TERRIBLE.

Text message communication option for anything I needed was excellent!

Property was authentic from inside but outside area was little sketchy after dark.
Rooms were small for being a luxury hotel collection. Room service was nice and staff was very friendly.
Not much option for dining and specially for vegetarian.

Wonderful hotel. Unfortunately the area is not great. I would not recommend walking anywhere around it. However, the inside is fantastic and the staff was great.

Housekeeping stole my earrings that my late father gave to me. I’m so distraught about this. I would have never expected this from this type of establishment. This is so heartbreaking

Absolutely amazing hotel with such character. Very elegant, beautiful and clean. Rooms spacious! Turn down service gives it the extra touch

The hotel experience is average at most, there is no advantage to pay more when there are so many hotels nearby.
Pros:
The staff is very nice.
Close to French Quarter, very good location.
Cold water available at the lobby to freshen up.
Top eateries right at the hotel.
Cons:
The pool is underwhelming.
Rooms are tight quarters.
Lots of hidden fees for room service and incidentals.
Bathroom didn’t have a fan so it was always steaming up.
Gym is below average.
Our travel companions stayed at the JW Marriot and it was much better regarding the price, the gym, the room was more spacious and they are close to each other. We will be staying there next time!
