This lower apartment of a completely remodeled 1886 manor with 10' ceilings is near the Elberta Life Saving Station (weddings). Home has everything you need and is in a great location. Beach is five minutes away, restaurant across the street and another just down the street. Only drawback is we needed a better option for drying towels and swimsuits. You have to lay them on the porch railings. The owners are very responsive to any needs. This was our second year staying at the home.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautifully renovated house, and loved all the information the owner provided about the history of the house and the area. The porch is a great place to hang out and look at the water, and the location is convenient to hikes, beaches and the many activities available in the area. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook, and the owner has thoughtfully provided beach equipment, games, books, etc.

We had a really great stay! The accommodations were very clean, nicely furnished and in jan excellent location right on Crystal Lake. The host is very accommodating and communication was excellent, would def come back.

The apartment is beautiful and very well maintained. The owners are very responsive. The location is fantastic - we ended up spending a lot of time on Elberta beach which is 3 minutes away by car and beautiful.

Perfect Home, views, layout of space!

Perfect, well organized, well furnished, beautiful views, central to many activities in the area, wonderful week! We all enjoyed the excellent design of space inside and out. Everything we hoped would be there, was there from scissors to beach towels. The porch was like an added room. Although it has the charm of an older home, the inside is redesigned with a large open space for dinner table and conversation area. The owners are friendly and available. We highly recommend this rental.

Great location, a couple of walking distance restaurants, all amenties needed for a getaway near Lake Michigan. Historic building adds to the character of the apt - 3 tween/teens didn't miss a TV or AC - fans throughout the apt and easy to open windows made it a comfortable stay. You can hear the guests in the upstairs apt walking around due to the hard wood floors, but we were fortunate as they not up late and I'm sure they could hear our crew since the windows were open :)

Beautiful property, clean and quiet location. Larry and Nancy were very nice and you could see the pride they have in their Elberta home. Great location to Crystal Lake for amazing boating experience.

The downstairs apartment of the Elberta House was perfect for two teachers on summer break looking for a relaxing vacation. We were close to all the activities and places that we wanted to visit. The owner was very helpful before and during our stay. We would stay here again.

Great Property, Great Location

Great Property, Great Location

We rented the lower unit and loved everything. There's a sitting porch with a view over Betsie lake. The interior is beautifully and recently re-done with all top quality items. Everything is well stocked: dishes, pantry, board games and even beach chairs, umbrella, towels. Note there is no TV, but with such a great location, who needs it? There are so many things to see and do so close to this property. We really enjoyed our stay.
