Basic hotel voor prijs/kwaliteit verhouding

We konden nog tot laat zwemmen.

De geur van de keuken die je tot in de receptie en bij gevolg in de gangen van de kamers kon ruiken was niet aangenaam. Daarnaast was de douche niet super proper. Wij verbleven er drie dagen en de kamers werden niet in tussentijd gecheckt. Er was ook geen mogelijkheid om dit aan te geven indien je dit wou.

A little bit of luxury in Dambula

Amazing bit of luxury for a crazy cheap price! Great aircon, clean and fresh rooms, lovely pool, attentive staff going over and beyond to help. Has a restaurant attached where I had an amazing kotthu, and it was also very reasonably priced given the quality.

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Hotel, freundliches Personal, schöner Garten mit vielen Tieren, leckeres Frühstück, schöner Pool. Wirklich gutes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis!

La chambre propre et moderne.

Petit dej pas comme sur le menu( il manquait de la nourriture, on l’a dit au personnel mais pas de réaction) dL’extérieur ne ressemblait au photo booking,, plus étroit mais beau quand même

We did not get what we booked! :(

-Friendly staff -Nice garden and pool -Brekky was good

-We booked 2 rooms: •Deluxe room with balcony but we got a room (104) without a balcony and fix windows what we could not open. When we raised this issue to the hotel they did not change the booking just raised up their hands and we have been told that they are fully booked. •Double room (room 101): Dark, small room on the ground floor,opposite the reception, it’s noisy especially in the morning. Windows are facing to a wall!! -Main building stinks all the time, corridors has a weird smell. -Hot water only during the day, not at the evening. -Rooms were not cleaned during our 3 days stay. -Staff has poor English.

Lovely setting but disappointing breakfast

Lovely outdoor pool area. Friendly staff and comfortable room. Good location in Dambulla with things nearby.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing, it was expensive compared to everywhere else we have been in Sri Lanka and where a lot of the time it was included. It also takes a long time to come and they actually got our order wrong one morning (unsure how as there are only 3 options and we told two different staff) but luckily they fixed this and brought what we ordered. The hot tea also came after we finished breakfast which we would have preferred with breakfast. They could do with some cushions on the wooden seats in the restaurant as it's a bit uncomfortable. Our shower was blocked so you did stand in a puddle when showering which wasn't ideal. Also had several frogs in the bathroom in the evenings.

Toller Zwischenstopp- würden jederzeit wiederkommen

Super Lage! Direkt am Busbahnhof. Nahe zu Ständen und Restaurants. Pool super sauber und großzügig. Erstes Zimmer 105 zu laut wegen Generator. Haben dann zum Glück schnell Wechseln können. Alles sehr sauber und super super freundliches Personal! Gutes Frühstück

Dobra lokazlizacja duże czyste i wygodne pokoje super basen

Lokalizacja: bardzo blisko dworca i centrum miasteczka mimo to jest cicho a otoczenie w samym obiekcie jest dosyć przyjemne. Świetna baza wypadowa. Pokoje: duże czyste i przestronne. Idealnie gdyby miały balkon ale leżaki i stoliki na terenie hotelu dają przestrzeń na odpoczynek i relaks więc da się to przeżyć. Klimatyzacja działa świetnie łóżka są super wygodne łazienka czysta i zadbana. WiFi raczej ok słabo działało wtedy kiedy była ogólny problem z siecią dialog. Udogodnienia: świetny basen z możliwością kąpieli o każdej porze bardzo smaczne jedzenie w hotelu nieco droższe niż na mieście aczkolwiek nie jest to jakaś ogromna różnica. Krewetki curry mistrzostwo świata. Obsługa: bardzo mila i pomocna kontakt z managerem w każdej chwili czy na miejscu czy za pomocą whats up. Jest możliwość zamówienia śniadania dzień wcześniej na umówioną porę. Śniadania są smaczne chociaż mi bardzo brakowało owoców i pierwszy raz spotkałam się z ich brakiem na Sri Lance ale to też jest drobny mankament być może komuś nie przeszkadzający.

W samym obiekcie wszystko było świetnie natomiast ku mojemu zaskoczeniu na rachunku okazało się że jest dodatkowa opłata prawdopodobnie za płatność kartą oraz za hotelowy serwis czyli to że panowie do leżaczka przynieśli na przykład drinka. Wszystko zrozumiale ale byłoby fajnie wiedzieć to wcześniej nie zaskoczyć się przy rachunku nie są to kosmiczne kwoty ale tysiąc do tysiąca i się zbiera.

Excellent location. good stay

The location was excellent, with close proximity to the main road and shops. The establishment was newly constructed, and the pool appeared inviting, although I didn't have the opportunity to enjoy it. The room was slightly compact, but I appreciated the efforts made to ensure guest comfort, especially considering the prevailing economic conditions. The bathroom was satisfactory. WIFI, air conditioning worked well.

The placement of charging points was unconventional. The room had a slightly compact layout and lacked a TV.

Dejligt ophold, sødt personale.

Virkelig sødt personale. God lokal mad og vestlig morgenmad. Sød terrasse man spiser ved. Dejlig stor pool. Fik nummer til en virkelig god tuk tuk driver også.

Kan være lidt indelukket i rum ved køkken. Lugter også lidt sjovt ude på gangen foran værelset. Tror det er på grund af fugt og svært at lufte ud. Generede ikke på værelset.

Great staff.

The pool was excellent and attractive. The staff were friendly, helpful and always looking to assist. The meals were good and value for money. It was a short walk to the main street and a variety of services. Like most of the places I've stayed in Sri Lanka cleaning seems to occur if you request it, but that seems more logical to me than cleaning up every day regardless of the need, or lack of it.

There was nothing really. An extensive rebuilding project made access to the hotel a little difficult but thatm was all.

Short but enjoyable stay in Dambula

The location was amazing and the staff were incredibly friendly. They arranged a TukTuk for us to bring us to Sigiriya and the Dambula Caves. The room and pool area were very we’ll maintained and the linen and bedding were perfect.

Very friendly,helpful and attentive employees. In general, the rooms and the whole accommodation is clean and und good shape. Great Pool to relax. Bus stand is 3 minutes away, centre of Dambulla about 10 minutes by foot.

Shower was somehow decrepit. Poor WiFi.

A good compromise if you want to stay in Dambulla.

Our room was very clean, and the airconditioning was working perfectly. The swimmingpool was perfect, very clean and great after a hot day visiting around.

Breakfast wasn’t great, and the seimming pool lacks sunbeds and shadow.

Good location, amazing staff!

We loved staying at the White Land City hotel! You immediately notice the thoughtfulness that was put into designing it, from the grand picture to the small details. The rooms were impeccably clean, the food was delicious, but the highlight was for sure the friendly and available staff (including Murphy the dog 😍). The hotel is also conveniently located close to the bus station and many restaurants, only a short tuk tuk ride to the main sights.

We were always out so we didn't have time to spend in the lovely pool :')

Oh so much to see with Darmulla caves and Golden temple I would probably spend 3 days here

The swimming pool was lovely clear water. The staff were so helpful and keen to oblige. Linen on the beds was good quality clean and new. This hotel is quite new and I would return again

English communication was a small problem with staff. The hotel is located near market road and behind the bus station so not far to the shops.

We were alone and had the swimming pool entirely for us. The area outside is very nice and comfy. The bedroom was big and the breakfast was also good.

Most of the staff do not speak English, so it was a bit hard to communicate with them. The manager does and we had to wait for him when we needed something

Superb

The staff was super nice, helpful and very accommodating. They always made sure that you felt comfortable and that all your wishes were fulfilled. For example, we asked for a Coke Zero on the first evening, but they only had normal Coke. The next day we got Coke Zero. The organized excursions were great and the facility with the pool was also great. The price-performance ratio was very good. We felt extremely comfortable and would definitely come back. Thank you very much!

Great stay in Dambulla

The hotel was spotless, the staff were just so friendly, helpful couldn't have been kinder. They provided additional towels for the pool. The room was simple but pleasant. The bed was very comfortable. The new larger hotel at the front is likely to open later this year .

Not much to grumble about. The shower was a. Little odd in that the tray wasn't attached to the wall so water on the walls ran down the outside of the tray and into the sink in the bathroom. Not a problem just a little odd.
