We watched whales feed for hours, right from our deck. We loved the hot tub and the home had plenty of space for us to spread out for a few days. The game and puzzle selection was fun too.

This place was very clean and comfortable. It has an awesome view of the beach from the huge deck. The nice and clean hot tub was great to have after a long drive. We will be back again!

Outdoor deck & hottub are wonderful. House is a mess and totally needs updated for the price they charge!!

This ocean-front home will treat you to masterpiece sunsets!! Miles and miles of ocean views right off the deck and out every west looking window! Magnificant! Find 8 miles of uninterupted beach combing by accessing the beach right down the hwy only one mile north. Drive one mile south into Seal Rock for great seafood at the Luna Sea Fish House. The house is the perfect pet-friendly home. With laminate floors, sweeping and vacuuming beach sand was a snap. Loved it. Great kitchen, comfortable beds and super quiet from hwy. traffic. We will return!

Our family lovef this spot. It was great for our small reunion. We used the deck more than the house I think. It is breathtaking. The beach access is not far but I would have liked directions in the house info. It took a little searching.

We were informed that we could check in an hour early, so we headed to the property.
Upon arrival, we found the cleaning crew still working, so we had to wait. Once inside, we discovered ant poison all over the kitchen counters from leaking traps. The main living area carpet was ripped, posing a tripping hazard, and there was a musty smell throughout the home, likely from black mold in various rooms.
The BBQ was out of propane, and when we replaced the tank, we found the BBQ was broken and couldn't reach the proper temperature, which was a major inconvenience for our Memorial Day weekend plans. Additionally, the WiFi signal was weak and disconnected frequently.
We attempted to contact property management through several listed numbers but only received a new propane tank, which didn't resolve the BBQ issue. While the view from the deck is stunning, the home's safety concerns, particularly the black mold, make it unsuitable for rental.

Overall everything was clean and homey. Had a little trouble getting in the door and small carpet area needs new carpet. Otherwise everything was perfect.

It’s a gorgeous beach house that is so cozy and we loved having the beach view and having the hot tub right there. Just note that there is no immediate access to the beach from the home! Beach access is 1/4 mile down the road but you have to either walk on the highway or drive down to it.

Upon entering there was a dead, decaying rat thats clearly been there for a while, and lots of feces. Also ants everywhere to the point they were in my friend's hair. How, after this, are we expected to feel clean in the home? It was really shabby and run down, also had a weird smell to the house. It was hard to trust that things were clean in the kitchen, and ants were all over everything!! The beach access is not clearly marked/signed, and the way we did find was through a few other properties and down a really sketchy, falling apart stairwell - absolutely only for confident, able bodied adults. Its been 2 weeks since our stay and i have had very minimal if any response . I genuinely dont think this house got cleaned or checked on prior to our arrival which is gross. Cleaning fee was high and i have yet to get any type of refund. Just be aware youre paying for the deck and the view, but there are plenty of other in this exact spot that are probably way better and cleaner with the same views. This awful customer service is also another reason to not book with vrbo. I cant get an email or callback 2 weeks now. After cleaning up the dead rat, the poop, ants and in general dishes etc. We left the place cleaner than we arrived.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Thanks for allowing our dogs to join us.

It's a funky older place with outstanding views. A little wear and tear here and there, but clean and comfortable.

Our family had a great, relaxing reunion in Seal Rock and loved this cozy home on the bluff with such an amazing view.

We enjoyed watching all the birds from the big deck, and the firepit in the evening.

This property needs maintenance. Large hole in carpet, screen ripped off door frame, faucet lose, paint peeling, vinyl coming off floor, bushes over grown. It was not as advertised. I feel a rebate is due.

The beds were very comfortable, the appliances were new, the Wi-Fi actually worked, the deck has a great view and the location was very quiet.
I would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi, fire pit, deck and other outside areas. Pets allowed is a big plus! Highly recommend this property

Comfortable beds and linens. There was room for everyone to spread out.
The hot tub was clean and hot!
There’s a nice deck with Adirondack furniture. The fireplace outside would be great in the summer.
I would recommend taking your own coffee maker . Because there is wasn’t one , good thing there’s a Freddie’s in Newport!
If you’re not looking for a Hilton type residence this is a nice place to stay.

Mixed reviews on this home from others and mine will be the same. The view from the home and deck are truly AMAZING! Sleeping with open windows and hearing the surf crash all night was heaven. However, there are some quirks… shower head in master bath is still broken (that was noted months ago with other reviewers so I assumed it would have been fixed by now but it wasn’t). The home was clean but a little run down. Beautiful antiques throughout. Would we stay here again? Unsure… possibly considering the view.

I loved the deck and it's view. In most vrbo places we stay, there is a binder or booklet about the house, rules and other valuable info such as beach access and recommendations about restaurants or places to see/ go. The only info about the place was the slightly aggressive sign on the fridge that tells you to be out by 10am in all caps. Which is comparatively early for a check out time. The shower head was broken in the Master bedroom, however, the whale shaped toilet handle made up for it. The house was very clean and well kept. I had no problems with the appliances which has been a problem with other rentals before. I'm glad I had read the other reviews regarding the step on the deck so I knew it was there. It really should have some sort of safety tape. There are pieces of tape, but they are not highly visible. All in all, we had a great time and will most likely come back for a ladies trip. I really have no complaints. Thank you so much!

The kitchen and bathrooms are small and in need of updating; but, the comfort and view made it wonderful!

The view was amazing on the large deck, throw in a hot tub and fire pit, great find. The house had tons of space for several people, while still not feeling like you would be crowding. Some aspects of the house felt dated, like the bathrooms, but the livable space was very comfortable.

It was a great place to stay. However unknown to us ahead of time the dishwasher was broken and after reading other reviews it has been broken for months. We enjoyed the spacious house, the short walk to the beach, the comfortable beds and huge dining area.

The view was to die for. Loved the big deck overlooking the ocean, loved the hot tub, and loved the fire pit although we didn’t even use it! We will definitely be coming back!

Family Birthday Gathering
8 of us gathered to celebrate my father’s 93rd birthday. All was great! Bedrooms and bathrooms all on ground level with an upstairs’ family room area. Not handicap accessible but Dad got around ok with his walker. Suggest a set of TV trays because we could not all sit at the table together. Also suggest better markings on the step down on the deck. A couple of us had trouble with knowing it was there. Kitchen pretty well stocked with cookware. Didn’t use hot tub or tv. The gas grill was very clean The view was spectacular!

Girls trip!
Enjoyed the property. Not a better view. We are missing a turquoise earing. Please notify me if you find it.

Great view, cozy home.
We had a lovely stay at this property! At first, having just one TV upstairs seemed like it would be inconvenient, but it ended up we just didn't watch any TV and just enjoyed our stay and the beautiful view. It was a oerfect floor plan for our family of 6 and our dog. The weather was beautiful and added to the experience. Having the porch and access to other outside areas was nice as there was not direct beach access, though the parking area and access just down the road was quite convenient (though we brought back half the beach in the car!). The listing however, was not entirely accurate, and there was not access to the garage. The screen door was also broken, but since there were no bugs we just left the sliding door open for similar effect. All in all, we would stay here again.

We love the house, view and surroundings.
Thank you very much.

Not as advertised
The beds were so uncomfortable that it made sleep almost impossible. The bathroom showerhead was very low and not working and it was not possible to hold the showerhead up and try to shower at the same time. Also, two of us almost fell because the deck was split level and it was very heard to see that before falling. Also, they should exchange the twin beds with the queen bed so that you don't have to sleep with your head in the closet in order to access the upstairs.

Seale Rock
The view was spectacular, but would have better if the bushes were cut back to enjoy the ocean from the hot tub and firepit. The pictures look like you are just stepping onto the beach, instead of having to drive down the street. The place was very outdated and definitely musty and not clean. Alot of money for what we expected it to be. We did enjoy the views for sure, just wish the home would have been nicer. My 89 year old mom took us on this vacation, and wish it would have been alot cleaner.

Beach getaway
This property was great for our size group. You could not have asked for a better view from that deck!!!! Beach access was only a minute drive but really wish there were stairs to the beach from the house;) The house was stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was very clean and satisfying after a chilly day at the beach.

Views the best
We had a great time in this home. It’s a bit rustic, but that’s what we expect from a beach house that accepts dogs. We had good weather so we spent most of our time on the deck. The view Friday m the deck is incredible. Took out the telescope and watched seals on seal rock. Watched cormorants and spotted some pelicans.
Given how much time we spent on the deck we came up with some suggestions. A string of outside lights would be helpful. More comfortable deck chairs. The chairs there are colorful and fun, but this 70 year old found them hard on the tailbone and hard to get out of. A couch would be great :). Also, to improve the view you could cut the bushes down or maybe raise the upper part of the deck so you can see over the railing when you sit in the chairs. It would be great if you could cut the bushes to a height that lets you see the ocean from the hot tub. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful.
One serious suggestion. Get rid of the rugs. Rugs are not good in a place that allows dogs.
I like that the beds are high because it eliminated a battle to keep the dogs off. On the other hand the height offered a bit of a challenge to this old lady.

Rented out the house for the weekend, the picture showed that the beach is accessible from the back deck, however that is not the case. You need to either drive to a beach access, which is a small parking lot and gets filled fairly quickly or walk on the street down a busy hwy. The internet speed is also something that needs some attention, if you plan to work from the beach house or have kids that wants to watch Ipads to keep them entertained, this property is not for you. Also the wifi range is limited, however a $20 range extender can resolve the issue.
The only features we like about this property was the deck, view, and private fire pit. Overall, the property was just "ok", definitely expected more from a beach house. I would not stay here again, as its overprice for what you get.
