Miserable experience overall

Pros: Friendly staff, decent location

Cons: WOW…where do I start? I paid over $200/night for a One Bedroom Suite that advertised a desk and separate seating area. There was neither. Just a small round kitchen table with chairs. The washer/dryer was impossible to use. I followed all the directions, and it still took over 3 hours for my clothes to dry. And left my clothes wrinkled and musty smelling. Add to that, the dryer was super loud and shook so hard it sent glasses flying in my kitchen area. The shower also had no proper hot water — something the hotel claimed was for insurance reasons. But I was fighting a bad cold, and really needed a hot shower to help my sinuses. However, when I tried to cancel my booking, management kept giving me the runaround, claiming their system was down. Overall: this hotel has some nice things. But lukewarm showers, problematic laundry, and no proper desk or sofa are HUGE dealbreakers for me, especially when I’m spending so much money. Had a miserable stay overall. Will NEVER stay at this property again.

Excellent location 10 mins to London Bridge station and Underground. Nice bar, coffee point and lounge space.

The shower temp control was broken and the maintenance crew weren’t available.

Très bon séjour dans un appart'hôtel bien placé dans Londres.

La chambre était grande et bien équipée (cuisine avec four, lave-vaisselle et même lave-linge), le personnel est très sympathique, l'hôtel est juste à côté d'une station de bus, et pas trop loin d'une station de métro (10/15 minutes à pieds).

Le seul défaut à mon avis : la fenêtre ne pouvait pas être ouverte en grand pour aérer (et aussi, c'est un peu cher, mais ça c'est partout pareil à Londres...).

Brilliant birthday weekend

The studio itself was beautiful and up-to-date/new, with the location being 10 mins from London bridge station as well as things like borough market I would recommend. Good corner shops nearby as well.

Bit small for the price but expected for that type of location. I would go again.

With a little updating this accommodation would be perfect.

Great towels and bed linen. Yoga mat a plus. Friendly staff. My medication needed to be put in the freezer, as the studio did not have one, they offered theirs on the premises. Very quiet. Well equipped kitchen.

Threadbare carpets, danger of tripping - tired kitchen furniture, tiny 6inch square bedside shelf, 6 hangers (for one week for two people?) Open rail for clothes, the ironing board had the only storage cupboard provided. I drawer per person. Coffee lounge always full of studying students, we used it once - coffee served in disposable cups and cakes in paper bags! Not great for the environment. One morning no hot water.

Lovely, modern, chic, and clean

The room was spacious and the shower had great water pressure. The adjustable lighting was great too.

I recommend the TV be moved in front of the bed. Having the TV in the lounge area separated from the bed area wasn’t great for late night entertainment

Cute place, but had a drainage issue while we were there

Location and the stylistic choices of the property. Staff was helpful and overall accommodating.

Bathroom smelled like fish in first room, we were happily moved to another room which also smelled like fish, which was solved by laying a wet towel over the shower drain. Property worked to try to improve our stay.

Alles insgesamt super :)

Die Lage war für uns super - man kann in Ruhe schlafen, aber um die Ecke gibt es eine Reihe schöner Restaurants und Delis/Cafés - der Borough Market ist auch nur knapp 15 Gehminuten entfernt. Das Personal war extrem freundlich und hat uns mit einem kostenlosen Late-Checkout und Adapter für unsere Geräte ausgeholfen. Das Zimmer war außerdem sehr sauber.

Allerdings war das Zimmer doch etwas klein - das konnte man so auf den Fotos nicht sehen. Und dadurch, dass wir nur in der 1. Etage waren, war es auch relativ dunkel - das Fenster nicht besonders groß.

Bunker Silo without light

girl at the reception was friendly

it is a horrible bunker for internet nerds. The room was extremely dark, no light it felt like a bunker or a prison. There was no window overlooking the bed(room). A terrible AC was blowing heavily all night , even the me accompanying young nerd was not able to shut this down or turn down at least the intensity of the draught. The walls of the room were just bare concrete walls - if you think thats stylish, please go back to your interior design study place - you definetely missed something. No coffee machine in the bunker apartment , no free water bottle or any other freebies apart from tea. 2 glasses, 2 spoons and 2 knives , accompanied by - you gess it - by 2 plates. The bed was extremly small. No working desk but 1 small round table.

Lovely and well equipped studio apartment, close to major attractions.

This was a great find. Nice little studio apartment, well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. Walking distance to two supermarkets. Bit of a walk to the London Bridge tube station but still reasonable. Very close to Tower Bridge and surrounding sites. Also close to walk to the Shard, Borough Markets and Bermondsey High Street. Staff were lovely and helpful, good little gym. Also a nice coffee shop downstairs.

Nothing, I really enjoyed the stay and the place has a welcoming vibe.

Great location, efficient small room, but far too warm

Great location. Brand new. Completely equipped

The hotel was uncomfortably hot from the moment we arrived, with the central heating turned up excessively to around 24°C. As someone who prefers cooler environments, I found the temperature unbearable. We attempted to adjust the situation by using the air conditioning, but it would only go as low as 21°C. Opening a window for relief was not an option since they could only be cracked open slightly. Over our three-night stay, the persistent heat made it impossible to cool down the room. It seems more practical to keep the rooms cooler by default, as it's easier to warm up a space if needed than to cool it down once it's overheated. The excessive warmth made it difficult to sleep, and the blast of heat upon entering the building was overwhelming and far from eco-friendly. It would be advisable for the management to consider strategies for reducing the indoor temperature.

I was in room 410. Ideally the painting and the TV should be swapped around. After a long day on one's feet it's more comfortable to catch-up on news on tv, relaxed on the bed rather than sitting upright at the dinner table.

Alojamiento excelente, todo muy nuevo y bien conservado Tiene una perfecta ubicación con una gran estación de metro, tren a 5 minutos andando y 5 líneas de bus a 2 minutos El día que nos fuimos después de hacer el check out, se quedaron con las maletas sin ningún coste hasta la media noche que cogíamos el vuelo es más ellos se ofrecieron al vernos marchar para visitar l ciudad. Volveremos a repetir el mismo

Das Apartment Hotel befindet sich in einer tollen Lage und ist "am Puls der Zeit".

Das Viertel "Bermondsey" ist wunderbar und ruhig, aber es gibt gute Lokale. Die Tower Bridge ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Direkt vor dem Hotel ist eine Bushaltestelle.

Eine bequeme Sitzgelegenheit fehlte im Apartment.

Realität bisschen anders wie auf den Fotos, aber nicht schlimm, keine Sofa vorhanden und es war ein Behindertenzimmer mit Notfallschnüren, darum auch das Bad ein wenig anders eingerichtet

Hotel très propre, au calme, suffisamment spacieux. Personnel très aimable. Espace de co working disponible au rdc si besoin. Arrêt de bus devant l'hôtel, 15 minutes de marche jusqu'au métro London Bridge. La rue derrière l'hôtel est pleine de cafés et petits restos.

Manque de lumière dans la chambre (plus de luminosité dans la cuisine).

Lovely cosy and warm

Cosy studio style rooms with great staff that are so human. They were so pleasant and helpful. Loved the whole vibe and the plants everywhere in the communal areas

One of the good serviced apartments in London

Location was good, staff were friendly, the room's space was suitable, the kitchen was fully-equipped with all the necessary utensils and the bathroom was nice.

Housekeeping wasn't daily, the coach was small, the pillows were not comfortable due to the bed's front frame is hollow so your pillows will get stuck ^_^

I would certainly stay at Bermonds Locke again.

Loved all the interior. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Cool bathroom products. Great breakfast options.

The only minor thing I didn’t like was that the bathroom floor went very wet while showering because the slope wasn’t towards the shower drain.

Excellent stay in great property in central location.

The property is very modern and well maintained, the reception smells divine, the staff was professional and helpful and the room was great! Also, in the reception area there is a lovely coffee shop, which is great to have a good breakfast :)

To be honest there's nothing we didn't like! There was an initial hiccup as we got given a smaller room that the one booked, but the issue was handled very professionally by the reception staff and the right room was given to us straight away!

Proved a great choice, pleasant and warm experiences brought by enthusiastic staff.

The location is convenient for my reaching to multiple attractions. The atmosphere and setting at the ground floor give the sense of active community and energy. What I liked more is the staff here, they are all nice and hospitable. We were lucky to meet Nyna, who provided quite useful information, shared her living experiences in London, took care of our concerns.. her services and enthusiasm exceeded our expectation - bringing pleasant flavour in our two weeks stay in Bermonds Locke, definitely a highlight of our trip.

In the first week we stayed at the ground floor, the experiences in the bathroom were not great, water easily overflew out of the shower cubical.. suppose the leveling of the bathroom has a “bug”.
