Would definitely recommend this cottage to others. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms and bathrooms are all comfortable and beautifully appointed.

The property was excellent with lots of kitchen equipment, comfortable sofas and beds, and 3 toilets.
The garden was large but a bit overgrown (we trimmed plants ourselves to access the path) and, although it is enclosed, it was not secure (our LabX escaped over the back wall twice).
Our daughter and her partner joined us for the week, travelling by train from Birmingham. It was excellent to have a holiday cottage so near the train station and we all made use of the station by doing a walk that involved 2 train journeys (as our dog had never been on a train before).
Lots of lovely pubs within walking distance; the Black Bear Inn was our favourite (cheaper pints there and lovely food), and the Tuesday market was great to visit too.

Fairfields was perfect. We were able to walk from the train station and around town. The house was clean and wonderful for our stay.

Fairfields is a joyous house, so well situated with ease to the pubs, shops, Arboretum & so many other places to walk. Also so many interesting places to visit that are close by. We found lots of places to visit which were amazing and of fascinating interest. Then back to the lovely house to relax with a glass of wine and put your feet up.

This property is in a great position for exploring the Cotswolds and has a very homely feel. Everything you need for a great holiday.

Loved everything about this house. Comfortable lounge, great kitchen/diner with everything you could think of, 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 dbls & 1 twin. 2 bathrooms & downstairs loo. Pleasant garden. Good location.
Removed 1 star due to 1 bed being too hard & the duvet being 13.5 tog, too hot for summer, so needed a top sheet. But would certainly recommend & return.

I would recommend this house to my friends.
We stayed at Fairfield’s for 5 nights last week and had a lovely holiday. The location in the street behind the high street is perfect. Quiet and peaceful yet only a 5 minute walk to the high street / Tesco and restaurants. The garden is beautiful and the blossom fell from the trees like confetti all week. I had my washing dried on the garden line - although the line is only big enough for half a load they also have a tumble dryer so that was fine. The house inside is beautiful.I gave it 3 stars for comfort as the red couch is not as comfortable as the main cream couch which has much deeper seating cushions. I had the en-suite room and the mattress n the double bed there is firm. Too firm for me. The kingsize bed and at least one of the single beds have memory foam type mattresses which were very comfortable. Perhaps they are trying to cater for all types , but I do think it would stop me going back again as I didn’t sleep well. However it didn’t stop us having a lovely holiday.

A wonderful holiday I can not recommend it enough
I have stayed in many cottages but this really was a home away from home. It was as though the owners had just left to go out to the shops! It was quiet, pleasant and comfortable. If you have a dog or young children it has a very suitable garden and there is a wee park just across the road. The shops, cafes, and restaurants are about a five minute walk away with the co-op the same distance through the park.
The town has a lot to offer and I strongly recommend the market on a Tuesday morning. It is easy to travel all around the Cotswold area in a car from here and nothing seemed to be further than half an hour away. Even visiting at the end of February we were delighted with not only the house but also the area.

Nice house in great location
The property is very well located -on a quiet back road but only a few minutes walk from the shops. It was beautifully clean and the kitchen well supplied. Bedrooms a good size. The only issue we had was that the house was freezing on arrival - the thermostat had been set to 10 degrees! It took a while for us to locate it, reprogramme it and for the house to warm up.

First class holiday home
This must be one of the best holiday homes we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped with top quality equipment. It was also just a stone's throw from the main street in Moreton in Marsh with all its shops and eateries. Take the short cut through the park at the end of the road to the Co-op supermarket. We only discovered this towards the end of our stay!

Lovely accommodation in an ideal location
Very spacious accommodation that had everything we needed (and much more) and is a superb base for exploring the Cotswolds. It’s on a quiet street but only 5 minutes walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants and close to the Co-op and Tesco extra if you need supplies. The railway station is only a 10 minute walk so a train to Oxford was an easy trip. I can’t recommend Fairfields enough, it’s got the lot.

5* stay at Fairfields
We have stayed at many different cottages/apartments and this was by far the best! Beautifully decorated, well equipped, comfortable beds, hot powerful shower…. Lovely location despite the building works taking place opposite. We had a little noise early morning but it didn’t detract from our stay at all. We would definitely return/recommend.

Fantastic place, few small tweaks could make it perfect
Very well located to explore North Cotswolds and Stratford upon Avon with good access to shops etc nearby. Beds were comfortable, the Garden is well kept and it was spotlessly clean which was very reassuring in COVID times. Only minor things that would have made the stay perfect for us would be to have a floor length mirror somewhere in the house and some space cleared in the kitchen to store some of our own dry food. Would not hesitate to book again, many thanks!

Fairfields Cottage was perfectly located within 5 mins walk of the town centre and literally a stones throw from the park for walks with our 4 legged friend! The property was well stocked with everything required for our stay and some additional thoughtful extras to make our stay even more comfortable. These were very much appreciated. Everything was spotlessly clean and all 3 bedrooms were well proportioned with plenty of space to store things. The garden was perfectly dog friendly too. We loved our stay and look forward to visiting again soon.
