Nice house with ample space for a large family. Having the second unit was actually pretty nice for us, as my wife and our young kids had a separate space to rest and recharge. My only complaint is that the driveway to access the back unit is very narrow. Having to navigate around cars and the shrubbery was difficult while carrying little ones and bags. I recognize nothing can be done about the size of driveway, but trimming the branches back would have alleviated some of that challenge. But even with this very minor gripe, I would fully recommend this property. The location is hard to beat and the host was responsive when I had questions during our time there.

Interesting floor plan with 1 bedroom entrance either through a bath or another bedroom. Back unit does not connect internally. Front porch has not been cleaned in many months to say the least. Noticed 2 other houses across the street that the cleaning ladies cleaned the porches when cleaning the house after people checked out. House needs some tender loving care!

This home was walking distance to king street, steps away from baguette magic (amazing iced coffees) and in a great area. We stayed for a girls trip (bachelorette) and it housed us perfectly. Highly recommend. I also love that trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, and dish soap, dish rags, and a fresh sponge were included. It’s nice to have those things when traveling!
5 stars!

Communication with owner's rep was excellent. The property was clean and the accommodations were what we expected. Good location and uber easy to get around. Restaurants and a small grocery near by.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were a USAF reunion group who had served together 50+ years ago. Due to untimely illness and mishap. our traveling party dwindled over the year between our booking and our arrival from eight to only four, so we did not even use the quarters tucked in back at the rear entrance. Briefly we toyed with the idea of downsizing, but are glad we did not.
The premises were well appointed and appeared to be newly refurbished. We had all the comforts of home and took advantage of the front porch for coffee and drinks as well as for greeting passers by. The neighborhood had a surprising number of young adults walking or riding bikes to & fro, which gave it a pleasant vibe. There was a bakery four doors down and a corner grocery about a block away.
We were conveniently located with about a three block access to the free bus shuttle.
Our weather was grand and Charleston showed her wares to splendid effect.
The property managers were surprisingly accessible, responsive and entirely accommodating.
All in all a top drawer experience!

This was a great property for a bachelorette! Walking distance to king street and having the main house and back house provided enough space. Definitely would recommend!

My girlfriends and I booked this property for a bachelorette party and it did not disappoint! Location was perfect and it was the perfect amount of space for our group. The landlord was also super communicative with us as we navigated Hurricane Ian and made our nerves lessen when worried about flooding. Would definitely stay here again next time a big group of us goes to Charleston.

From the moment we opened the door we knew we had chosen the right location for our reunion of 8 dear college friends. This property had everything we needed and more! Very comfortable sleeping quarters, high quality linens, well equipped kitchen, lovely decor, comfortable seating and a large dining room.
The location was perfect for walking to King Street and a variety of places to eat & drink. Also convenient to the CARTA bus line that was a free & easy way to navigate the city. CVP was excellent to work with, quick to respond and very accommodating. We could not have been more pleased! I am hoping to return to this property at some point with my family. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Choice Charleston House
This house comfortably slept 8 adults and 4 children. With its welcoming porch, excellent location and comfortable interior, this home was truly a haven in the beautiful city of Charleston. It was within walking distance of great shopping and restaurants, 2 bakeries and ice cream shops, a grocery store and a playground. I highly recommend this property. We would definitely rent it again.

Rented the house for Eleven attending a family wedding. Great place to stay and close to everything downtown. Clean and well managed. Management very attentive to needs. Great customer service.

Great property for family visit!
Great house for family. Spacious and comfortable. It could use some refreshing as the kitchen and first floor powder room were not as clean as they should be and there are stains in the carpet in the back bedroom. The house is well equipped. Management is very responsive to any questions or needs which was greatly appreciated. Finally, Spring street is a bit noisy but does quiet down after 2:00 am after the bars close.

Bachelorette weekend
10 of us stayed here and we loved it! So close to King street, we were able to walk everywhere. I’ve already recommended this house to several “bachelorette” groups on Facebook. Perfect for big groups.

Wedding weekend
Great location near restaurants, shops and King Street. 1 house, 2 separate units. Main house- 3 upstairs bedrooms. Back
Unit has 2 bedrooms, sitting area and small bath. Great to have keurigs with coffee and creamer supplied. Hosts very responsive. Would rent again.

Great Location - wish the properties were connected
We loved our stay here! The place was clean, beds were comfortable, and there were adequate items in the kitchen to cook. It was great to have the large dining room table. We were a large group so rented the front and back places. I wish there was a door connecting the two from the inside that could be locked when two different groups were staying there. The only other item is that there is not a lot of seating options on the front porch. It would be great to have some folding chairs or something to bring out there too so the whole crew could sip their morning coffee.

Great location
Great location and easy check in and check out process. Parking in back. No regrets

Nice property with a great location
We had a great time staying at the property and would highly recommend to anyone looking to house a larger group. Downtown is easy to walk to, and the area around the house has great options for food. Check-in was also easy and painless.

Family of all ages
Our family ranging from parents, to kids: 22, 21, 17, 4, 2, all stayed here comfortably. The two small kids did stay together, but all the big kids had a room of their own. The house is beautiful, and even with a 4 and 2 year old it was suited for them with very little that they could break, and plenty of room to play. We could walk easily to plenty of things and what we didn’t want to walk to, we found parking fairly easily. Would definitely choose this place again if we come back.

This was a perfect house for our group. 2 moms and the bridal party! Beds were very comfortable and the house was well stocked and very clean. Great location with lots of place to walk to. Great group house close to King St
Perfect house for a big group and super close to king street and all the bars. The front porch was great for hanging out and the house was clean and comfortable. The management company was very responsive and always available if needed. Highly recommend this house!

Girls trip
We had an amazing stay at this property. Adorable old Charleston home in a great location. We had both the front and back house so we each had our own bedroom. Host was quick to respond with any questions. Mostly walkable unless you want to go to dinner in heels. We would absolutely stay at the property again.

Perfect for Reunion
This property provided plenty of areas for socializing including a front porch. The kitchens were small but had modern conveniences. 79 Spring was within walking distance to King St. and several restaurants. Check in and checkout procedures were simple and fast.

Great place!
Rented both units to house extended family during Christmas. House was great! Front unit has 3 large bedrooms upstairs, and back unit has separate living space and 2 additional bedrooms. We loved swinging on the front porch and was a plus to have a large dining table to sit a large group together. This, as I’ve found, is hard to get in many VRBO’s downtown since the majority of kitchens are tiny. Manager got back with us quickly with any questions we had. Good location to stay downtown. Great stay!
