Our main trip was to visit silverwood and this location couldn’t have been better. I hate to even leave a good review for fear of more people staying here and discovering this gem. The marina is breathtaking and peaceful, the water sparkles in the morning with your coffee made in the well equipped kitchen. Keurig and regular pot available to use.
The fish were aplenty though bring your own gear as the stuff available was something made for a season of Survivor, My boys would have slept holding their polls if I let them.
Silverwood is a mere 10 minute drive and a huge supermarket is 7 minutes away that is open 24 hours. We decided to forgo cooking and walked to the local restaurant each night for dinner and a drink. Brandi was an absolute angel of a hostess and kept us coming back.
Only downfall was the house was listed with 2 twin beds in the master and they aren’t there so we just had the 2 big beds. Kids slept on the floor and made it work but if you have littles needing a bed, they aren’t there.
We are already planning our next trip and can’t wait to return to this special spot!

The float home is a bit dated & needs a deep cleaning overall. The grill was great, but we had to clean it ourselves because it was filthy. The regular cleaning person did a great job with all the normal stuff, but the closet where the games are kept is scary & the laundry room has too much clutter in it.
The kayak was full of water so it was unusable…never found a paddle for it either. A peddle boat was promised, but we were never told where to find it if there was one, because it wasn’t moored at the float home. The fully equipped kitchen only had 4 forks & wasn’t really equipped for preparing nice meals.
The deck is big & great for enjoying the fabulous view. Great for morning coffee & evening cocktails. The beds are comfortable & enough bedding supplied. The marina is a fun place to stay & being on the water is unique.
The options for restaurants is limited…only 3 options for restaurants serving dinner…one is closed, one is rumored to be closed at the end of 2023 & the last one isn’t very good.
All this said, we enjoyed our time at the float home.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was well apportioned with linens, towels and general living supplies. Parking was not as we were told and we had to pay for it. We were told one space came with rent but no parking pass was available and the marina said none was purchased. The marina was easy to work with, but this made checking in a little stressful. Any questions we asked the manager were answered quickly. Would stay again

LOVED THIS PROPERTY, WE WILL COME BACK....CANT BEAT THE LOCATION AND A GREAT FAMILY VACATION!

Two bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our group. We could have used a better selection of cooking utensils since we hosted a bbq for visiting family. The only suggestion I have for improvements is to add some lighting in the living room. Literally no lights at all in that room for visiting or even reading a book once night time hits !

Amazing location
We’ve visited bayview for over 40 years. After recently retiring we decided to book a floathouse for at least a week. We booked mid-July for hot weather and were not disappointed. This floathome is ideally located beyond almost all others and right on the edge of sail boat docks. We spent everyday on the side dock that gets shade from 2-3 pm everyday, putting feet in water, kayaking, floating, or just soaking up the amazing views. Inside is quite roomy and nicely decorated but dated, and the upstairs bedroom is extremely large but that window must be covered as waking up at 4 am everyday due to light bursting in is unacceptable especially while on vacation. We loved eating at all the local restaurants and walked to all of them. This is a unique and fabulous experience and we are already planning doing it again next year. Thanks so much for making our week truly a amazing adventure.

Heat issues
It got really cold the weekend we stayed. We contacted the property manager and asked where to turn the heat on because the fireplace didn't work. We never received an answer. If we knew we were going to freeze all night we would have just left that day.

Bayveiw Floating Home
From start to finish everything when great. There were no surprises when we arrived. Everything listed from picture of the floating home to instructions were right on target and made it so easy. My wife and I both more than enjoyed our stay at the floating home and Bayview. The home was very clean, large and had everything need for a great stay. Thank the owner and thank you Vrbo for making renting this home easy.

Relaxing and Quiet
A great getaway/downtime for our family of 6. Beautiful location and view. Loved the size of the house, but needs some TLC. Specifically, smoke detectors, lightbulbs (including nightlights/porchlights), oven racks, A/C leaks, washer and dryer needed multiple cycles per load (wouldn't drain or dry well), remote batteries, and general cleanliness. Thank you.

Hot!
We had a great time. We were there when it was extremely hot out so we didn’t get to fish as much as we would of liked but the air conditioning was great. We enjoyed being there!

NIGHTMARE!
LAST TRY at leaving a review. Dishwasher stinks, is reviling, doesn't work! Washer doesn't work. Code to get wrong - nightmare with 4 kids trying to get in all night - no response from owners...show

A perfect cozy floating vacation home.
We came with our ski boat and fishing poles for a family summer vacation. The boat tied up right next to the house and the kids dropped their poles into the water on all sides of the house. They caught many different types of fish! The house is very cozy - we had some bad weather so hung out inside and watched movies and played games. Cute place to hang with the family. Everything was well stocked. Our only issue was the dishwasher was broken.

family time
My family and I enjoyed our stay and we love Bayview. We all felt that the place was a little run down and there were a few things missing that were small issues like wine bottle opener, paper towels, more than 4 dinner plates and a bar-b-q scraper. The biggest thing was not having info on how to work certain things.

Unique, Rustic Floating Home
This is not an updated or fancy home but the uniqueness, views and being ON the water more than make up for it! My sons fished off the dock all day and we loved the included kayak and paddle boat to get us out on the water a bit. We really hope to be back someday soon!
(Just a heads up that it gets really bright in the master bedroom around 5:00 a.m. every morning, so bring an eye mask if that bothers you)

Neat experience
Wonderful place for a family to enjoy the lake and Idaho's Faragut park or Silverwood park. Cozy house yet big enough for 6 people. Really enjoyed our selves.

Great place to relax!
My wife and I stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed the place. The view of the marina is spectacular with the mountains surrounding the lake. You can walk right out the sliding door onto the attached dock. I was easily catching ( and releasing) 8 to 12 inch stripped bass right off the dock! There's not a lot of technology available here which made it perfect for us to stop working for a few days! (Cell phone service for us required us to go up the road about a mile out of town to get a signal theu AT&T. The float house has wifi but it was super slow and disconnected constantly). So if you are coming here to work, don't. We rented a pontoon boat in town and took a half day tour on the lake. It was great and we got lots of pics. We found this home clean and comfortable. The beds and linens were clean and comfortable. We watched 3 Movies we had never seen before but watched them all on the DVD player. We really enjoyed sitting on the attached dock and fishing or just chatting. My blood pressure went back to normal for a bit. Recommended!

Great Fun in a unique place to stay
We love the water and staying on a funky, but clean float home was a blast for us. Zach did his best to make sure we had what we needed. Kayak, paddle boat and fishing gear. Plus feeding the ducklings in the morning while having coffee was a great way to wake up. We would most definitely stay here again.

A sweet place in a beautiful area.
We loved this house and hope to stay there again. It was so nice to have all the space and kids enjoyed fishing off the deck. Everyone we spoke with was helpful and very nice! Wifi was slow and TV was hit or miss, but DVDs were nice at bedtime.

Summertime with Family
Our family stayed at the float for 2 nights (wish it had been longer). We had a really great time. We were 4 generations and EVERYONE enjoyed the stay. They really thought of everything. The deck with the gorgeous views, the canoe and pedalboat, the fishing poles and BarBQue. Everything there for our pleasure! The house really felt like home. Soooo comfy! Everything we needed for a truly wonderful stay. We would love to come again in the Fall to enjoy the fireplace and Fall colors!

A lifetime of memories!
We had a most wonderful time at the float house. Brother and sister in law came up from San Diego to join us. A great serene place to unwind and "get away". Large deck overlooking the marina to relax and spend quality time with family. Beautiful scenery everywhere you turn. Float house was well equipped and had everything we needed. Lucy the pet goose and mascot of the marina came to greet us on our arrival and every morning. We fed the ducks and ducklings off the deck and saw some otters in the marina. All the neighbors were very friendly. Good restaurants and coffee shop within walking distance. The food to the Buttonhook Inn was first class. We brought our canoe along and also rented a boat from the marina and explored Lake Pend Orielle (second largest lake west of the Mississippi) for a day. Farragut state park is very close for hiking, biking, nature trails, target shooting, boating, etc. There is the Briggs war museum from WWII in the state park also. Silverwood Amusement Park is close also. We explored nearby Sandpoint, ID with all it's shops and restaurants also. Highly recommended.

Quiet, relaxing home, with a lot of character!!
My girls and I enjoyed our stay in this float house immensely! We loved waking up on the quiet lake and being able to paddle around and sight see the other float homes. The hills around the lake made for beautiful scenery for photos. We had a great time spending family time together here with all of the immenities that we needed. I also was happy with the lack of Internet connection for this trip! :)

Best experience ever!
The location of this float home is wonderful - right between Sandpoint and Couer d'Alene. The owners are SO nice. Greeted us with fresh, homemade lemonade and ice tea! It's peaceful and quiet and the neighbors are so nice - they even gave our boys bait for catching fish off the dock. The home is in great condition, it's comfy and roomy. There's a canoe and fishing gear. Internet is very spotty and the TV doesn't have great reception. But the DVD and stereo work fine. I'd highly recommend this place.
