Alles perfekt, selbst das Essen für ein Café extrem gut :-). Besitzer und Personal super nett, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Tolle Retaurants auch im Ort, kulinarische Reise.

I loved everything from the incredible service and hospitality to the modern room with an amazing view. A truly magical experience that gets my highest recommendation, which isn't easy to do! If I return to Cinque Terre in the future, I'll definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect. The location in Portovenere is ideal to go everywhere. The suite itself is very well-built. High-quality bathroom. Very comfortable. The host is amazing and generous. We were very happy we decided to have our honeymoon there.

The room was extremely nice, super clean and comfortable. The view was fantastic and the location perfection. We enjoyed being so close to all the town has to offer and above the restaurant was a real pleasure. The family that runs the business is friendly and helpful. We were surprised how quiet the room is, you don’t hear anything-amazing soundproofing. Bonus for the strong air conditioning and fabulous shower. We wish we booked a longer stay!
We loved everything, there is nothing to disappoint you here!

location could not be better; service was outstanding; and we were made to feel like we were part of a family.
exceeded expectations in every respect

Beautiful new apartment, very modern Italian design and style, superbly appointed with great little balcony overlooking the harbour, located immediately above Al Gabbiano restaurant.
Owner and staff all just so keen to help, very friendly and caring.
Excellent food and good wine selection.
Rate was higher end but inc breakfast, for the total experience excellent value.
We enjoyed it immensely.
Absolutely nothing!!

Best possible location.
The room was in fact a full bed-sitter layout with a small lounge and kitchenette and balcony.
every possible amenity ws included. its not cheap but it is value for money.

Beautiful sea view from the window and balcony. Appartement very well equipped and made with good taste. A great host - we had a nice welcome surprise and breakfast of choice plus some tips on what to visit around.
We parked at the street not so far from the apartment which is a good option for short stays - free during the night and 3eur/h during the day
We liked it all

Our hosts were extremely nice! They helped us with everything we needed and always with a big smile. The suite was beautiful and very clean. We loved staying there and we recommend it very much
to enter the room there is a big stairway and it was a bit difficult climbing with luggage and suitcases, but besides that the room was great

To say we were spoiled would be like Noah saying "it looks like rain!" Januka and his team spoiled us silly. Al Gabbiano Suite is beautifully appointed. The service, food, and wine were all terrific and the warmth and generosity was the best we have ever encountered; anywhere in the world.
All of this contributed to a wonderful stay in a fantastic location. We arrived as guests, and we left as good friends. That is what made it special. Thank you so much Januka; your gift of Italian wine has been a treat for our family here in New Zealand.

Portovenere is the perfect place to escape from the hubbub of the other “cinque terre” towns. Although access to the 5 terre was dependent on boats/ bus to La Spezia and then the train, we felt it was not a major barrier and worth avoiding the excessive crowds.
The suite was perfect and well appointed/comfortable. the balcony overlooked the water and it was lovely to sit there at the end of the day. It was a few step walk to the rocky “brach” for refreshing swim. Despite the busy waterfront, the balcony door, once closed, was quite sound proof.
The owners, Gianluca and Alessandro were hospitable and went out of their way to help. Their restaurant below served Italian breakfast for us and we also had dinner there. We were treated to aperitivo one night. Their response to my questions before arrival were immediate and helpful when we thought we needed a taxi.

Excellent location, with a balcony overseeing the Harbour and the expensive yachts. Very good noise insulation, clean and a very nice apartment. The owner always smiling and very attentive, his service alone making this a worthy stay. They also own the pizzeria downstairs that is well rated, with good breakfast and delicious pizza.
parking can be (very) expensive. We ended up paying 100 euros for 3 days, but that's the norm today in these small towns

Great flat, great location, great staff.
We loved the breakfast as well.
The flat is above a pizzeria but we were never bothered by the noise.
We definitely recommend it.

The room and location was absolutely gorgeous! The staff were also very welcoming and friendly and treated us brilliantly- especially Alessandro who always made sure we were okay 🥰

Best place in Portovenere with the nicest hosts (2 brothers) and a fantastic staff! Room was more than perfect! We had such an amazing time. Thanks again!

Al Gabbiano Suite is simply amazing.
The room is spacious, perfectly clean (and I have really high standards), with all the comforts and with lovely modern furniture.
You will be in the heart of Portovenere but noises won't be a problem because the room is completely soundproofed.
The lovely little balcony is just such a cute little add on, we enjoyed just sitting there and watching the people passing by below.
Upon our arrival Alessandro, the owner, had arranged a lovely and huge happy hour on the balcony, everything was delicious!
I have been in contact with Alessandro to arrange a surprise for my husband since it was our anniversary and he went above and beyond and organize everything exactly as I wanted it, moreover he was a lovely host in general, he gave us advice and helped me with a reservation for a boat trip to the Cinque Terre, him and his brother were always so kind and personable I couldn't ask for more.
I would definitely recommend Al Gabbiano and Alessandro for a stay in Portovenere, I don't think you would find anything better.

A recently modernised spacious property, tastefully furnished and equipped. Excellent Bathroom with walk-in shower, large comfortable bed, sitting and kitchen area. The balcony which overlooked the interesting harbour was an excellent place to sit (with a drink) and watch the world go by. The Gabbiano restaurant takes some beating for quality of food, drink and service. I don't usually give good ratings, but for this accommodation I'll make an exception. Potrovenere is delightful.
