Property is spacious with ample outdoor seating and amenities. Location is super quiet, private, and convenient. Host communicated well and responded to our one request immediately. The house needs a good bit of updating. Lamination peeling off cabinets, furniture quite worn, mattresses need replacing on 3 of 4 beds. Loft area with 2 beds has “railing” that is simply painted studs with 16” openings that are pretty dangerous and we wouldn’t let our toddler upstairs with us (where my wife and I slept) because of it. Not sure how an insurance inspection hasn’t resulted in changes to this. Overall, we enjoyed the stay, and the house was indeed very clean and well-stocked with utensils, etc. Host also allowed us to check in just a little bit early, which we appreciated. If mattresses are replaced, railing issue is fixed, and some additional updates are made, we would consider the property again.

We had a nice weekend stay in Marco Island. It was great to have comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms, and space for our group to hang out. We had a few questions for the host throughout and she was incredibly responsive and friendly.

Great location, and we loved having access to the garage and the screened balconies. We wish the weather had been warmer so we could use the unheated pool. Some spaces had recently been renovated and were very beautiful. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and it was easy to get in and out. Would stay again!

Overall we had a really nice stay! This property is nice but could definitely use some upgrades. My boys loved the hoop and the pool and we had fun biking around the island. That being said, I did feel like there seemed to be some disappointing things around every corner, but maybe I should have asked more questions ahead of time. I knew the pool wasn't heated and it was definitely chilly even on the hot days. Also, because of the trees it was very hard to keep clean. There were many pool floats at the house but after going through and blowing up probably 10 of them, only 2 were without holes and able to be used. Similarly there were several chairs and umbrellas we were hoping to use at the beach and all but 2 were broken. The ones that weren't broken were rusty and still covered in sand. There was only one basketball that would hold air. So these things, while they didn't ruin our stay they were disappointing. As far as the inside, there was plenty of space for our family and everything was relatively comfortable. The fan in the master bedroom was broken and the shower in the downstairs bath was so nice and updated but we had a hard time getting nice hot water. There were the basics in the kitchen, mostly what looked liked had been left behind by previous guests. We have stayed at a lot of homes as a family and this one was nice but has so much more potential if given the right attention. Overall nice stay.

Location conforme aux photos avec un intérieur très confortable, vraiment bien décoré ! La maison est bien située sur Marco Island dans une rue calme. Les extérieurs mériteraient un meilleur entretien , propreté de la piscine et de ses abords ! Enfin, il n’y avait que 4 vélos (nous étions 5….) et celui pour enfant était inutilisable car trop rouillé !

My family and I just rented this charming little house for a week. Very tastefully decorated. Within a few miles of many restaurants and also near free parking and public beach access. We had everything we needed. A small appliance broke while we were there and the host had it replaced in a matter of hours! Would rent again.

This is our second stay at this property, we returned because the owner, Gipsy, made our stay and accommodations appealing. We have an active family so the outside pool and added half court basketball court made it even better. There aren't a lot of rules to bog down your stay. Definitely returning. Thanks Gipsy Rebecca

The property was just as listed in VRBO. Enough space for 6 adults. Very clean. The pool was clean and refreshing. Great water pressure in the shower. Very short drive to restaurants, hotels, and shopping. Communication with host was smooth and timely. This was a great experience with VRBO for my first time. Thank you!

Unique house with a lot of character...

Unique house with a lot of character. Four decks, three screened in, 3.5 baths and great TVs. Kitchen is a little small and dated, but everything worked fine. The pool is well maintained, but not heated so maybe a little cool depending on the weather and time of year. We stayed here for a month and really liked the house vs. condo. The garage and private pool area are really nice to have. We joined the YMCA for a month, which is located a block away. Great place for a family. We biked everywhere on the island. It is a good deal for the price you pay.

This property lived up to our expectations as far as comfort, cleanliness and creature comforts were concerned. An additional half bathroom in the garage, along with a refrigerator make pool usage even more enjoyable as there is no need to walk up and down the stairs. The owner was very responsive and quickly took care of our needs.

Our host, Gipsy, made our trip nice and simple from beginning to end. When we contacted him he got right back to us with simple directions and answers. He did not make our trip confusing with lots of rules or directions, and the house was in great order. We have a family of eight and everyone had a great time during our four day stay.
