Family holiday, September 2024

Excellent, if I could describe this apartment with one word. Clean, cosy, very very comfort, and fantastic view to the sea. We loved huge terrace, peace and smell of pine and jasmine. Host, George, is at service all the time. Askeli beach is very close, few minutes walking. Also, walking distance from port and old town. It's very quiet, and good for sleeping. For every recommendation.

Someone said that steps are problem, but it's not. All island is in hill, soo this is 15 steps you won't even feel.

Wonderful place from which to explore Poros, which is so far our favorite island of Greece.

It is an authentic Greek apartment with the most fabulous patio! Excellent location ! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful views of the ocean and relaxing place to stay

Lovely location and great terrace it was all very good although it was quite traditional but we were happy with that - if you wanted somewhere modern it may not suit

A wonderful week away.

Villa Loula is a real gem: amazing location walking distance from the beach, port and the hills behind; stunning view out over the bay and a tasteful and comfortable apartment. The kitchen is really well equipped, and it was so nice to arrive to milk, coffee and biscuits! We visited out of season, which we would really recommend as it's so quiet everywhere. But also in the cooler weather it made it much easier to explore the beautiful hiking trails on the island. April meant everywhere was carpeted in wild flowers which were stunning. George was a great host and we had a really comfortable stay, we'd love to go back.

Lots of steps, hard bed, lots of mosquitos but beautiful views

Location was fabulous … apart from the steps. Having said that, everywhere is hilly in Poros so unless you’re staying on the beach front, expect a few steps. From the beach to this apartment, there are over 120 steps to climb. Apartment is a bit dated but thats what you get for this money. Overall good value for money … apart from the mosquito bites!

Mosquitos. We were bitten over 20 times each in the first 10 minutes of arriving! By the end of the week, despite repellent, keeping the doors closed etc. we both had 50+ bites

A beautiful stay in one of the most idyllic parts of Poros with sea views and everything one needs to be comfortable. Ge

This villa is an absolute gem. It was well laid out, fully equipped, clean and the large balcony doubled the space. perfectly situated near the wonderful beaches of Askeli yet walking distance to the town of Poros.

Beautiful and comfortable apartment . Good value for money , would highly recommend .

The apartment was spacious , comfortable and very clean . The view from the balcony is breathtaking and it is a beautiful space to sit and relax. It is very near to beautiful beaches and restaurants . Very comfortable beds and the apartment is nicely decorated . Owner very helpful and responsive to all requests .

There are a long set of very steep steps to get onto the main road . This was ok for us but would have been difficult for some people . Also the taxis will not drop you outside the apartment so you have to take the steps every time , this was really difficult when carrying heavy luggage . A kettle would have been nice , though there is a coffee machine .

Big apartment, huge balcony, very nice views.

The mattresses were not great, mainly the mattress of the double bed was very hard, impossible to sleep on it. We had to work from the apartment for a couple of days (have informed the owner in advance and confirmed good wifi quality). Unfortunately, it was not the case; it was impossible to have a (video) call with the wifi and finally we had to use our mobile data to be able to work. The owner mentioned that there was a general issue with internet during those days on the island.

Fantastic views and stylish interior

The apartment is in an amazing location, with views that take your breath away! It was incredibly clean on our arrival and we felt very welcome. Nearby beach and bakery all wonderful!

Excellent,highly recommend!!

Amazing property with a breathtaking view,well equipped with everything you need,2 large bedrooms very nice decorated with 2 bathrooms,a kitchen ,a huge terrace,and cold wine when we arrived 😁( thank you for the treat),everything was spotless! Amazing family managing the property,ready to help with everything we needed!Thank you for a lovely stay,we will definitely be back!!

The best appartment

Very beautiful and cosy apartment. Beautiful kitchen with all necessary equipments,2 bathrooms and 2 rooms with the best view. I wish to be there again🥰

Loved the view but bedding needs to be improved, it is better for couple and single.

Beautiful balcony and views

Three proper beds, spare for three single adults was terrible as were all the mattresses. The way it was advertised it looked like two bedrooms and a living room but it was 1 bedroom, the liv8ng room had a 3/4 size mattress and terrible single bed too thin and small, Ikea furniture does not cut it these days. Overall liked its oldness but the sleeping was bad. The double bed in the bedroom was very uncomfortable.

A dream-holiday home!

Wauw, what a view! You feel immediately at ease when entering the large terrace overlooking the ocean. The terrace is huge, well equipped with a table, chairs and lounge chairs. There is even an outside shower, never showered with such great view! The kitchen is super equipped, we cooked a lot there. The host, George, welcomed us with cold wine and orange juice for the children + he prepared ice cubes in the freezer - how great! Very welcoming feeling! The rooms are large & the aircon works perfect, we slept just great. Everything about this place is great, even the decoration inside and outside, the colours, .. everything you need for the perfect holiday on the lovely island of Poros.

The mattress was very hard, so you need a strong back :)

One of the best places we stayed in Greece!

We've been moving around Greece for one month and this is the best placed we stayed! Beautifully decorated, so many thoughtful touches, excellent design and balcony is huge with an amazing view. It's just a few min walk down to the beach with some steps (one of the nicest beaches on the island) and close to several restaurants. Hosts are wonderful and this was really quite a special stay. At first we were surprised by the limited number of reviews but it turns out it's only newly available. Couldn't recommend it more highly!
