Great value for the money

The food was super delicious, the room was basic, just a bed, a chair and bathroom. It had hot water. And AC. And a large terrace

The AC didn't had a heat mode working, so our clothes were quite dump and we couldn't dry them at all. Also the street was coated in mud, and slippery which made the access quite tricky.

We loved the experience of staying here. The family were lovely and the food absolutely delicious. In staying at a Homestay you need to remember it is how the locals live, community noise and business of daily life. We enjoyed hearing children playing, the radio airing the news throughout the day.

The shower is cold. We stayed in winter so this could be a problem for some. Something to be aware of but not a problem.

Este alojamiento es pésimo no lo recomiendo!!

Toda la información que da el alojamiento es falsa. No tiene piscina y tampoco deja las bicis gratis te cobran 50000 Dong. La distancia que pone del centro es falsa pone a 1,8 y está a 19 kilómetros que tienes que coger un taxi por que el bus no llega. El personal no te ayuda a nada. Las habitaciones sucias las camas con hormigas.

No restaurants close by left you to eat here.... 3 fried bananas is not breakfast to me. Refused to turn the AC on...even though it was stated by booking.com. Surly staff.

The food was the only light in the dark

The food they served, both dinner and breakfast, was some of the best I had in Vietnam.

I did not get the room I paid for on Booking.com. Only after insisting on it did I get the room with private bathroom that I booked. Nevertheless, it was still not the room that I had chosen. For this worse room, I was charged extra, because I did not accept the dark little chamber with only a bed inside that they wanted me to sleep in. As I am traveling alone, they even took out the second pillow from the bed before I entered the room. Nice way to make your guest feel unwelcome. AC not working, no towels, quite dirty everywhere. I can not recommend anyone staying here.

Lovely little homestay.

The family is very friendly and make you feel comfortable. Food was very yummy and lots of it. Be careful if on bikes riding into the property, there is about 3ks of rough road, we did it was ok, just a heads up.

Thought I would see more of the lake.

Beautiful homestay thats well worth a stop in

The view is amazing and the owner is really nice. She speaks English well which was very helpful. The dinner was delicious and so much, youre definitely not going hungry 😊

The mattresses were a bit hard but not unexpected as they are shown in pictures.

The host was very lovely and accommodating. The beds were a little hard but not the worst we had in Vietnam!

Loved the surroundings and we enjoyed the balcony space for relaxing. The food provided was also really good!

great experience!

super friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room, with hot water and amenities. coffee and tea were always available. Great meals and nice boating experience around the lake.

the place was perfect, but the road leading to it was terrible. :( if you don’t mind some bumps and lumps then this is the place for you.

The rooms are clean and supplied with all necessities. The staff is friendly. It’s at the edge of the lake, so in dry season, it’s a bit far from where you could rent a boat to go for a sightseeing on the lake.

Wonderful family in a great location

Lovely homestay with a wonderful family. The food was very tastey at a good price, and although push bikes were not free as listed, they are cheap to rent out for a day (which I highly recomend)

Good, but know what to expect

The landlady was really helpful. She helped us with booking a taxi and bus to Cao Bang and also arranged a boat pickup when our bus had a 2 hours delayed arrival at midnight.

Maybe we got a different room than we booked - it had no AC and no private bathroom. The walls were not going all the way up to the ceiling, sleeping was not so good because all the sounds. This is typical for a home stay around there, just know what to expect and don't be surprised, the price fits the quality :)

Super Nice Homestay with Some Great Views

The homestay is located close to the lake and has beautiful views on the whole area. There is a nice terrace outside where you can sit and chill at the table. The room was basic but had everything what's necessary. The bed was comfortable and the facilities clean. The host was very friendly and helpful with everything to make my stay pleasant. Would highly recommend this place!
