Great stay at Sunny Daze in Old Town. The pics accurately highlight the house and surroundings. It was well appointed and we had a lot of fun with the pool table, ping pong and swimming pool. Highly recommend.

Spacious clean house, better than the photos. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Lots of space for our group of 7. The kitchen has everything you need. Previous reviews said wine glasses were needed, it’s got those too. Backyard has plenty of seating options and was ready to enjoy - no need to wipe down tables or chairs. Beautiful space! Location is close to Downtown/Old Town, about a 15 min walk, just on the other side of the canal. Overall, a fantastic house that we enjoyed our stay at!

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway with friends. We wanted a nice place with comfortable gathering spaces that would be walkable to a lot of things and this fit the bill perfectly! Everything was clean, instructions were easy to follow. I would definitely rent it again.

The home was beautiful and very close proximity to Old Town attractions, shopping, etc. The rooms were extremely well-decorated and very clean. The pool and outdoor setting was lovely.
One issue we had was the plumbing (which was reported in other reviews). The kitchen sink disposal was clogged and so the sink would not drain. One of the en suite toilets would not flush and kept running. We had to call maintenance on day 1 and there was some miscommunication about when they would arrive, but ultimately both were fixed. The toilet continued to make small noises, so I recommend replacing it.
The kitchen is missing several items such as wine glasses, plastic cups for the pool/deck and many serving utensils. Also, there are not enough towels for a home that size.
Overall everything was 4.8 stars and would recommend to others.

The house was spacious. The layout was perfect and I he pool was wonderful! We were close to all the action in old town.
My only suggestions would be that we could have used more towels - both bath and pool. And I wish the pool was heated for no additional cost.
But we would love to come back and would certainly stay here again! Awesome time.

Overall this house was great. It’s within 1/2- 3/4 of mile to old town Scottsdale and Fashion Square mall. They have an oversized refrigerator which was awesome. The island in the kitchen is huge. There is also a butlers pantry. The bedrooms were all good size. 4 of the 5 had their own bathrooms. The 5th bedroom had to share a bathroom since they only had a 1/2 bath. We were short towels from the beginning and had a plumbing issue but they were very quick to come fix and supply us with what we needed. The floors are in need of a deep clean. More pool rafts/noodles are needed and there are only 2 pool loungers. For a house this big they definitely need more. There are 2 tvs in the living area about 10 feet apart which is weird. They could use one on the patio.

They had zero wine glasses. Zero basic cooking or baking needs. Could not find the pool light. The staff did not know. Overall a few hundred bucks from the owner would put this place in the 10s. I’d consider that

Great house!
This was a perfect house for a few couples to enjoy a trip in Scottsdale! Almost every room had their own private bathroom which was very nice! The common area was great for everyone to relax and hangout in. Very clean and nice!

Great Place with Minor Caveats
Overall, this is a great spot - nice pool, good location, ample space; however, this home is very clearly experiencing some wear and tear. There were several holes in walls, paint patches that don't match the original color, water damage on toe kicks in the kitchen and holes punctured in the floor. There were no conveniences you'd expect in a rental home - no cleaning agents, cooking oil, coffee filters, etc., and the internet was down for our first 16 hours (but fixed after a technician came - it would've been ideal if the host had him come during the cleaning of the home prior to our arrival vs. putting it on us to be home for him to fix it). The proximity to Old Town can't be beat.

The house was clean, the pool was perfect (we paid extra for heat) and, since our college age kids could not use the rental car, it was wonderful to be so close to Old Town and Fashion Square.

Nice House. Horrendous Property Manager
House is well suited for a large group. Location is very good. The property management company was terrible. 1. Glass electric stove was shattered. I called the propco, and they told me they actually knew about it. They put hotplates in the pantry. Should not have been surprised. It was dangerous (sharp glass edges). The propco person was rude, condescending. Pool was supposed to be heated. We have the emails. Cold as ice. Again, propco took no responsibility. We sent two emails to propco. No response. The house was not very clean. We had to dust the covered outside patio furniture and tables to be able to use it. Light bulbs not working in key spots (like next to bed). Some end tables not dusted. No chalk for the pool table. One outside trash can (for 12 people)? Ran out of trash bags, etc. Many drawers not working. Simply put, will never do business with propco again. The home owners / corp should check into it we think.

Loved the location, house is not setup well if you are planning to do much cooking. Wifi was non-existent even when “connected” not enough strength to utilize computer or wifi.

Location was great.
Property was in an easy location to get to and close to old town. When we got there, the internet was not working and the stove top was badly cracked and could not be fully used for cooking. We also did not have enough towels for our group but the property manager was easy to contact and had a service man come to fix the internet and had more towels delivered the next day.
Overall we had a good stay. The beds were comfortable and the property and bathrooms were overall clean.

Nice Scottsdale Home
Overall, this is a great property. We loved all of the bedrooms and the large common area. There is plenty of space for a larger family gathering. The backyard is beautiful. Overall, the place was clean, but the carpets really look dirty and need to be cleaned. The toilet in the second master was running the whole time. The property manager promptly sent a repair man, but he didn't fix it. Also, there are lots of burnt out light bulbs that need attention. We were happy with our stay and would stay again.

Great place, great location, needs TLC
This property has awesome potential! Super perfect set up for our large family of adult kids. Thoroughly enjoyed the open concept and all the bedroom/bathroom suites. That said, it could use a good carpet cleaning and some maintenance. Needed paint, some new light bulbs, and the carpet stretched. Also a hot tub would’ve been fabulous but that’s just a wish list item. Overall we were happy with the place, it’s location, and our stay.

The house needs a deep cleaning very badly. You can tell a housecleaning service comes in and does a mild once over- however, the doorframes are filthy, light switches are not wiped down, the dust and muck is so thick on the ceiling fans it falls off.
The back patio has not been sprayed down in years (the dirt and filth covers the walls making it uncomfortable to sit at the outside tables- which are also filthy)
Most the remotes did not have batteries
The TV's are not Smart TV's
The paint is chipped and baseboards are scuffed and dirty.
Our group of 9 adults were able to spread out and enjoyed out stay.

Excellent Property for a Sizable Group + Feedback
We visited Scottsdale for a gathering of ten friends. The property itself is great, offers great amenities and nice privacy. I would definitely recommend to others and return to visit with a similar size group in the future.
As for constructive feedback:
For our stay in particular, we were disappointed in the pool... We paid extra to have it heated, and it was still quite cold. Additionally, the pool light didn't work for the entirety of our trip: two days worth of back-and-forth communication with hosts before a technician stopped out and determined it was officially "out". As a result, we rarely if ever used the pool.
Communication was a bit frustrating at times - often getting vague answers without solutions and the only known way to communicate was via VRBO Messenger.
Great location based on my research of the area. While "2 Blocks from Old Town" is likely accurate based on a map, it's at least 3/4 mile - 1 mile from anything worth visiting. We thought we'd walk most places, but an Uber is necessary for most.

Spacious Home
Great house! It was more spacious than anticipated. My only issue was during check-in; the instructions that were sent were not accurate. I called the management company and it took about 10-15 minutes to figure out, but once we were inside the house, we had a great weekend. Highly recommend this property.

beautiful home w/ great layout for large group
we had a wonderful experience at this home. the open layout is perfect for a large group and the house was in beautiful condition. the third party concierge (Dawn) was also fabulous and picked up our luggage for us and dropped it at the house since we couldn't check in early. highly recommend!

Bachelorette party
This house is in the best location if you want to be close to old town but still have plenty of space. It’s a gorgeous house, but the cleanliness was lacking for being labeled “luxury” the carpets in the master are worn down and dirty (not even sure why they put carpet in a vacation rental) the outdoor furniture was also dirty to the point we couldn’t just dust it off. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned all summer, which was disappointing considering it’s summertime and we spent Plenty of time outside. Also some of the kitchen drawers would fall to the ground when you opened them which was interesting… especially a drawer full of knives falling on one of the girls feet!
Also getting in the house was challenging as I read in another review. It’s a lock box, not the door code and the lock box is broken. Again, not sure why that hasn’t been replaced when multiple people have had issues getting it unlocked. Overall the house was great and has a great layout for a large group, just wasn’t quite the luxury We we’re expecting in some areas. Still would stay again despite the minimal negatives!

Great Pool + Location, Touchy Neighbors
Overall, we had a great stay with 14 folks from my bachelor party.
We had some issues getting into the house initially, as the check-in instructions stated we should use a keypad to enter the house when there was actually a lockbox containing a key. I had to call the customer service line a couple of times to finally figure things out, but it eventually worked out.
The house itself was great. We stayed in early May and didn't need pool heating (water was cool/refreshing).
On the first night (Thursday), we were spending time outside around 9pm and the neighbor approached us w/ a flashlight and asked for us to move inside. The house policy says we needed to be inside by 10pm so were surprised to hear from the neighbor that early in the evening. A minor inconvenience, but we didn't run into the neighbor for the rest of the weekend.
Again, we enjoyed our stay on the whole.

Large home walking distance from Old Scottsdale
Large comfortable home. Carpets were quite dirty on our visit. Kitchen is very well stocked. I hate to mention this but we had a scorpion in one of the showers. They occur in Arizona so keep an eye out. The backyard is as pleasant as it appears in the pictures.

Perfect house and pool to relax for a week!
The pool is absolutely amazing. It felt like our own resort all to ourselves. The house was also clean, well equipped, and set up well for a group our size. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful space, great house!!
We loved this house and its location! The floor plan is really good and it's ideal for a family or group. It's nice to be able to walk to Old Scottsdale and the canal path is great. We appreciated the pool table adjacent to the living space - it got a lot of use while we were there. Our *only* complaint is that the pool heater either wasn't working or unavailable. The kids still swam. :)

Amazing spacious home!
Overall, our stay was fantastic! The house was so clean and spacious for our group (we had 10) so everyone had a room comfortably. I did give the "accuracy of description" 4 stars as I felt there are two misleading things:
-The property managers mention pool heating options many times but this is a generic prompt and not specific to the property which I learned, so there is not a heating option for the pool.
-The sleeping says 15 which I'm sure CAN be done with the air mattresses provided but I would say a comfortable 12 is more suitable with the pull out couches depending on your group.
We did have a few questions during our stay which management was easy to get a hold of which was great. So, I would recommend this place!
