Really nice, modern and clean. Room presented beautifully.
Can hear other rooms coming in and out and people in the corridor.

It was all about the location for our visit as we were on a business trip.
Great hotel full of character and a very surprising choice of drinks on tap.
Proprietor couldn't have been more helpful.
A little jewel.
The limbo dancers coming under the gap in my bedroom door.

Excellent went out the way to make porridge for me and had oak milk and very reasonable in price.
nothing all good.

The location was fantastic and on-street parking was easily available,
The hotel looks beautiful in the photographs, but the bedroom I stayed in on the top floor was soulless, as was the bathroom. The hot tap for the bathroom sink did not work and made clanking noises which must have reverberated throughout the floors, the lighting in the bathroom was dreary and the mattress was very lumpy. I had to ask for a hairdryer to be supplied. All in all very disappointing stay and not value for money.

The Host was very friendly and nice and very happy to help.

I liked the location as it was in the middle of the town. The freedom with the keys to the front door was good, bed was reasonably comfortable.
The windows were extremely thin so a busy street in the morning woke us up early. I feel some of the appliances may need an update ie. the shower (pieces of the pastic fell off, TV as the tv didn't have access to BBC1 having very limited channels, no iron available and kettle was extremely old not working initially. The building foundations obviously meant that the room was crooked but I believe that would be the style of the build.

Despite the expectation that breakfast would be available there was no-one around at the time it was suggested it could be booked and I had to seek breakfast elsewhere.
Coming in at night to a dark house in which light switches had to be searched for. None were found until I encountered an unlocked rear door with an automatic security light

Staff, cleanliness, facilities.
Mattress to soft for my personal comfort.

lovey building with a private garden with seating to the rear. the rooms were dressed very nicely and were very clean.
it’s advertised as a bar and a restaurant as well but it wasn’t open as advertised which is a bit of a shame.

Gorgeous period building with interior decor to match. Warm welcome from the hosts on arrival and when trying to get to the restaurant we’d booked we couldn’t get a taxi so Nicholas offered to drive us. Incredibly kind and blew us away.
Our room was spacious, clean and a gorgeous bathroom. We faced the street but didn’t think it was particularly noisy, just as much as you’d expect and we slept fine.
Still offered delicious food & coffee on check out despite not booking breakfast.
All in all a lovely stay in a gorgeous hotel!

Clean. Proprietor was very cordial.
Room was nothing like the advertising photos - felt very disappointed. We paid the highest price (£108) so expected it to be as advertised. There was mould in the shower and no bath. Money was taken from card 20 days before our stay. Contacted hotel 6 weeks before stay by phone, text and email to see if could change date to day before. All were ignored.
