Master bedroom with King size bed, Bedroom#2 with Queen size bed and Bedroom#3 with Full/Twin Bunk. Covered Deck with side Ocean Side. Polywood Deck Furniture with Bar Table and Chairs. Exterior seating for 7. Great place to hang out and enjoy the ocean view and relax. Elevators. Covered Garage parking (Only two cars allowed). Year Round Outdoor Heated Oceanfront pool/hot tub. Soundside pool and hot tub with beautiful view of sound. Both pools have poolside restrooms. There is a very Nice Fishing Pier with Large covered Hut and plenty of seating for enjoying the birds and sunset. Kayak and Canoe racks on sound side where you can launch your boat. Website pictures and description were spot on; Very clean, decorated and well stocked. Ocean View was fantastic- sunrises were enjoyed right from the deck. Enjoyed sound pier sunsets and music. Condo safe and good lighting at night. It was nice not to have to bring beach chairs! Condo conveniently located to surrounding beaches, restaurants, groceries and ice cream shops.

The unit is very clean and in a good location. You are second row but can see the ocean from the side. The beach is nice but was busy. The fishing pier across the road is nice.

This is our second year staying here and it was nothing short of amazing again. The condo was immaculate as far as cleanliness and was well stocked with clean linens and kitchen utensils/cookware/appliances/food storage. We love the ocean view from the balcony, how quiet the community is, and how fun the ocean front pool is. We had a lot of fun playing games and foosball in the clubhouse and took advantage of eating at one of the food trucks for dinner one night. The beds are comfortable and the hosts are very attentive and quick to respond. We can’t wait to book again for next summer!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Beautiful ocean views from the back deck and lovely sound views from the front deck. We could see fireworks from every angle. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at the Shackelford Ocean Club condo was fantastic. What a little gem of an area. The location of Indian Beach was phenomenal, avoiding the crowded ends of the crystal coast, while still being close enough for shopping, restaurants.
The layout of the condo was perfect for a family of 5 and a grandpa. The second row view was still great. The condo had everything you could need. The communication was fantastic.
Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the condo and the facilities at the Ocean Club. Kids enjoyed using the heated pool (hint: the oceanside pool is heated but sound side pool is not) and the hot tubs were a nice addition. Was very easy to get to the beach. Unit was clean and had linens and bath towels. Per listing, was sparse on other items (no games, no shampoo, no beach towels; no problem, just be aware when packing). Suggest bringing food, as very nearby restaurant options are very limited.

Best vacation spot ever! It was cozy, clean, had beautiful views and a lot of fun for our family. The kitchen was well stocked with baking/cookware and utensils. It was quiet and very family-friendly. We loved the balcony and the view of the ocean, as well as playing at the pool. Ample space for our family of 4! We can’t wait to come back!

Clean and comfortable condo. Sue provided clear instructions and was very responsive. We enjoyed the pools/hot tub and watching the sunsets from the soundside. Met quite a few friendly owners.😊Highly recommend stopping in Albert’s for ice cream or a slushy. It’s within walking distance. Try the shipwreck or pina colada slushy!

The place was very clean, very well equipped. All the pots /pans you would need. Well kept. Communication was quick response. Distance to beachwas short. Nice view of ocean. The deck was big so all of us could be out at same time. I could see parking being an issue but we followed Sue's advice and had no issues. Heated pool is a plus esp at night. Hot tub hot. Nice pier on bay side. Beds comfortable but high. Nice beach design. Will definitely stay again. Elevator a plus and the complex though full didnt feel overcrowded. No trouble getting elevator or luggage cart.

This was our first time in this condo but not our first time staying in The Ocean Club. We love this complex as it’s clean and very well maintained. It’s much quieter than Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle but you’re still close enough to enjoy them if you wish. Great view of the ocean from the deck. The condo itself had everything we needed and it was obvious it was someone’s home and was very well maintained. The provided towels and linens were of great quality. Kitchen was well stocked. Everything was in great shape. We arrived to a full unopened bag of ice in the freezer so thank you to whoever left that for us! It was great to have access to the owners closet on lower level so we could keep all of our beach gear there. Thank you for providing beach chairs as well! Communication from owner was great regarding check in/out instructions. Thank you for having the beds made when we arrived! PS-check out Captain’s Kitchen food truck down the street.

We had 7 in our family stay at the beach.
The condo was clean, comfortable and quiet.
We enjoyed gathering at the counter/kitchen area and there was adequate seating in living room for all.
It was a short walk to the beach and pool.
We used the elevator and luggage cart which was helpful.
The view of the ocean was great on the deck.
The description online was accurate.
The owners were very attentive to making sure we were enjoying our vacation.

Week of Memorial Day 2022
Property was exactly as posted! Property managers were very quick to respond to messages. A couple of us are in the middle aged category so our internal temperatures run a little high. Managers allowed us to lower the thermostat to a more comfortable level. The condo was still a tad warmer than we prefer but our overall stay was excellent!

Our family of 4 had a perfect, sleepy little Easter vacation at the beach. The condo was well prepared, extremely clean, and contained all the necessary amenities. The pools were accessible and kept the kids entertained. Absolutely recommend! -JL

Great stay
The condo unit was in an absolute great condition! Very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all kitchen utensils one could ask for! View from the balcony was great, too! Thanks for a nice stay that also the seniors in our group enjoyed due to the location very close to the elevator :)

Very easy process to rent. Communication with the owner was easy. Check in process was all electronic. Loved the storage for beach chairs this was great so we didnt have to carry everything each day upstairs. Pool was clean and we used the grilling area too. Also went over to the sound side for night fishing. we did have a third car join us so we had to park in public beach access with approval of indian beach p.d. wish that the Ocean Club offered a third spot for parking, with all the open spots we were even willing to pay. Not something this owner could change but feedback overall. Our only other feedback is the master bedroom bed was not very comfortable at all. Overall excellent rental and a great week!

What a gem! First time renting through VRBO and it couldn't have been better! Property described accurately and owner went above and beyond with communication from start to finish. Our family of seven had an amazing vacation with beautiful, peaceful views with plenty of time on the beach and at the heated pool. We hope to go back next year!

Beautiful clean condo with great ocean view! Kitchen has everything you need; we cooked most of the time. Very short walk to pool, hot tub and beach on their side, and so cool that right across the road the condo complex continues with another pool and hot tub on the bay. Nice sitting areas on ground and pavillion on fishing pier, kayak launching area, beautiful sunsets. Sitting on the balcony eating breakfast or rocking in the rocking chairs to the sight and sound of the ocean was so enjoyable. And the beach is beautiful, loved hanging out there with nice ocean breeze. A truly wonderful vacations. The owners could not have been easier and more responsive. We will be back!

Wonderful Stay
This 3rd floor condo has it all! We were quite impressed with the ocean view and quiet location. The owners communicated clearly and were quite accommodating. There were extra soaps, coffee filters, and beach gear. The beds were all very comfortable. Our 5 and 7 year old loved the bunkbeds, the heated pool, and playing on the beach. We had a few cooler (48 degree) days and it didn’t effect their fun in the least! When we weren’t swimming and building sand castles we enjoyed the aquarium, eating at Snapperz, and trying out the Captain’s Kitchen food truck. The big sectional couch allowed us to all snuggle and watch movies at night. We look forward to booking this condo again!

Wonderful Stay
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The place was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. The beach chairs, beach toys, and booster seat for our 3 year old were very nice additional touches and showed that the owners were very thoughtful in providing everything needed for a great vacation.

Condo very nice and clean, well stocked kitchen and comfortable environment. Lovely deck to enjoy. Parking confusing and a bit frustrating. overall great spot to relax and enjoy.
