About this house rental
This Spanish bungalow is a desert oasis nestled in the heart of Lone Pine and with mountain views to the west and east. Whether you're climbing Mt. Whitney, visiting Death Valley, hiking to Cottonwood Lakes, or rock climbing in the Alabama Hills, this home is a relaxing retreat at the end of your day. You can enjoy a cup of coffee while you watch the butterflies in the garden and have a glass of wine in the evening watching the sun set on the Inyo Mtns. Main St., which has shops and restaurants is a 10 minute walk away.
This vintage home has unique, antique features with a modern update. The living room features hardwood floors, large paned window, vintage fireplace, and a large vintage machine desk to work at.
The backroom has a large comfy couch with a 50inch TV. The TV has a Firestick with Netflix, Hulu, and HBO.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook - pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc. Coffee and tea are also provided. There is also a coffee maker, french press, and electric coffee grinder.
During the Spring and Summer you can help yourself to vegetables in the garden and enjoy hanging out in the secluded backyard.
Both bedrooms have queen sized beds with Egyptian Cotton sheets. Plus a variety of pillows - firm and soft down feather pillows. Both beds have a down comforter and extra blankets are provided so you'll be sleeping in luxury.
The bathroom has a shower with a tub and a pedestal sink. Towels are included along with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A hairdryer is also provided.
Guests have full access of the house, front and back yard.
The few blocks that make up this neighborhood are known at "Little Hollywood." It earned this name in the early 1900s when the richest families of Lone Pine began to settle here.
It's quaint and quiet. Plus there is a farm at the end of the street with llamas, goats, and a mini horse!
There is parking in the driveway and on the street. If you have a large vehicle or need additional parking there is plenty of parking on Line St at the end of the block.
I'm not available on site, but am a call or text away should you have any questions.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is centrally located in Lone Pine. Very charming house with lots of antique furniture and touches. The host is amazing and everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. We explored Alabama Hills and Death Valley during our stay. We will definitely return to this house to explore the area more!

The property was centrally located, so it was an easy walk to town. It was exactly what we need while in town for the Lone Pine half-marathon. The beds were super comfortable, and the house was clean and cozy. I highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our cozy stay in this Lone Pine Bungalow. Easy access by car to some great hikes with spectacular views, and a short walk to nearby great restaurants. The well equipped kitchen worked for our eat-in meals where we dined in the lovely little nook.

It has authentic old Hollywood construction, looks like a crew came up from LA and built their usual. Oak floor, quaint fixtures, breakfast nook, not flashy.

Really cute bungalow set up with lots of amenities to ensure a comfortable visit. Everthing from good cutlery to nice lotion. A few details need attention. Bed in master bedroom needs to be replaced. Matress is shot. Great location for fun in E. Sierras. Quiet neighborhood will leave you refreshed.

Great home, great location
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless and had everything we needed to settle in. It was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The neighborhood was extremely quiet, which is always a plus. The house is also convenient to everything we wanted to see and do in Owens Valley. The owner made check in so convenient. We are already thinking about returning again in the fuutre.

We've used HomeAway/VRBO a lot for about 14 years and this is one of the best properties ever. Felt at home surrounded by artistic touches from the speakeasy door knocker to the lush back garden.. Hope to stay here again.

The bungelow was just perfect for us. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to fix food. We loved the kitchen nook with its windows. The backyard is spacious and we would have stayed outside more but we were there during a heat wave and 104+ was just too hot to sit outside. The air conditioning was heaven during this hot weather. Jessica listed lots of area attractions, restaurants, and answered me back promptly on specific questions. The bungelow is conveniently located to the town and is easy to drive the quick three or four blocks.

Sweet Retreat
Hollywood-meets-the-desert in Lone Pine. Super charming, very comfortably appointed, impeccably clean bungalow with generous, fenced backyard just a few blocks from Main St., the Museum of Western Film History, then a few minutes drive to the Alabama Hills, then up and up to Whitney Portal. Host Jessica is very friendly and quickly responsive. We loved our time here!

Quiet retreat, just what was needed.
A nurse and a teacher, exhausted by the past year just needed somewhere quiet to get away. Nice, simple home with amazing views! Close to lots of hikes.
Owner was very responsive to questions and house was clean, quiet, and had lots of little "extras" to make it homey. We hope to come back again.

This home was the perfect stay for our family of four! The seller would respond ASAP to any inquiry, and is honoring the 48 hr window between guest stays (Covid) which made us feel safe. Check-in was so easy, and the location was fantastic - a very short walk to Main Street!
Her home is lovely, with touches of antique pieces and art that really complement the home. The backyard was also appointed nicely, though we didn’t hang out there much during our stay. Wifi worked well, and it was nice to see what we’ve been missing on Hulu and HBO :) She also has a few games which we enjoyed (Uno, chess, apples to apples).
Overall, fantastic stay! Thank you!
