Great location

Spacious and clean , lovely layout of the house for 2 couples. Walking distance to restaurants , quiet and safe

Nice and big, great outdoor area, quite and easy walk to town. Beds were comfy.
Wasn’t any kitchen requirement like bin liners, washing detergent, spray and wipe or chux cloths.
5.0
Spacious, even though 9 of us in the property we still had space.
Hosts very accommodating when our ferry was cancelled due to bad weather.
Nothing not to like. If I'm being very picky then the configuration of the seating around the TV should be the other way round-the 3 seater placed where the chair is.

Comfortable house, enjoyed the outdoor sitting. Owners very helpful.
A couple of spare light globes but owners were extremely quick in retifying

Well equipped. Misty comfy bed I've used in ages. Quiet area and even when neighbours noisy don't here them inside.
Having to leave

lovely location. spacious, with all cooking utensils needed. Lovely quiet calm and enjoyable place to stay. A beautiful home. We loved it.
Some areas were not as clean as we would have liked, so we did some extra cleaning whilst there. Only minor, but it was still a bit irksome. We would have loved some pods for the coffee machine (there was only one pod provided).
3.5
Spacious tidy accommodation. Good for a group of friends or even two families with children.
Good location.
Heated mattress covers to double beds, but both were only operable on one side and not both.
Free Netflix was a bonus.
Air conditioner/heater not big enough for the accommodation.... weather was cool during our stay.
Only one kitchen knife that is only suitable for slicing bread and nothing else.
Shower door would not open.....it seemed to be stuck.
Four overflowing yellow wheely bins to the front of the property appeared to belong to all the neighbours. Definitely not a good look for street appeal.
An alarm on the fridge kept triggering but not sure why. Left the fridge door open for a few minutes and it switched off.

Had almost everything supplied
Nothing much to complain about

Beautiful home, very clean neat and tidy. Kitchen is very well equipped, everything except for dishwasher is available which makes it convenient for a quick meal prep. Having a full laundry facility was a blessing...the laundry liquid was missing though. Nice outdoor space to enjoy barbecue, we did not get any opportunity to use it though. Overall a very nice place to have a relaxed stay
There was no heating or electric blankets provided in the 2 smaller bedrooms which was a bit of a dampener. Considering the mattress can feel pretty cold at nights it would have been good to have either a heater or electric blanket on mattress.
It seemed as if the common toilet wasn't well ventilated, was smelling a bit odd. Having an exhaust could be a good idea.
The last thing, the master bedroom mattress was too soft for us. For someone with a chronic back issue it is not the best thing to sleep on. Nevertheless, this is something unique to us, may not apply to others.

I''m in an electric wheel chair, it is hard to find places that can accommodate you, and this being the first time on a "holiday" since being wheelchairbound this trip meant so much, and with so much anxietyin arranging, things couldn't have been more settling than dealing with Monique (owner with Paul). From the get go the communication between Monique was on point. She was very attentive with asking about ways to make our stay more manageable (as people with disabilities may know, it's a difficult thing organising a holiday because of lack in appropriate accommodation), I would say they went above and beyond to help support us in having a great time on kangaroo Island.
The Lazaret, it's super spacious for manoeuvring and allows for easy entering into the house. With either back and front ramp entrance available is perfect too. The bedrooms are large enough too, to spin around and not knock things. The master bedroom has the accessible bathroom, which fits a shower commode on wheels. The kitchen is filled with pretty much everything you need to enjoy meals there, if you weren't enjoying being out for dinner. It was in quiet street just back from the town centre, and we were welcomed with a clean and comfortable base for our time away. Beds were comfy and would be suitable for 2 families or a bunch of friends wanting to get away.
Even though I'm in a pretty powerful electric wheelchair, getting from our van and into the accommodation meant that I needed to drive on the gravel driveway which maybe for a manual wheelchair or walker may find it a bit challenging, but otherwise, it didn't cause me any real issue. For any other person it would be fine
Also, as a person with a disability, it can take us longer than usual to get showered and dressed, even though we had the heater on in the lounge, the bathroom was freezing (given, yes it's winter), maybe adding heating lamps would make the morning routine easier? That's just a suggestion I guess?

Rails at toilet
No rails in shower in ensuite. Dripping shower in other bathroom. Some of the pans weren’t cleaned by previous guests and were very greasy

The WIFI is pretty good. Kitchen has a lot of facilities. The beds are very comfy and warm.
The light is not bright enough. Only limited wall sockets are available in the bedroom, lucky they provide extension cables.

The beds were really comfy, plenty of space for 6 of us and close enough to walk to restaurants in town. Really friendly hosts as well!!

Great location, cute and clean house has everything we needed.
Thank you Monique & Paul

Nice location, love Kangaroo Island.
I got the sense the hosts have had to deal with some bad guests before, so there's a few things that weren't so welcoming (eg the locked doors). This meant we couldn't switch to a bed we found more comfortable (as an example).

Spacious home perfect for two families
No dryer or undercover clothesline made it difficult to dry clothes during rainy weather
4.0
the cleanliness of the property and the milk and Tim Tam's in the fridge.
4.5
House was very spacious and the outdoor area exceeded expectations. Milk in the fridge was handy and the coffee pods were good to have. Hosts were very accommodating to let us check in early and had some Tim Tams as a gift which was very nice.
Not really anything, everything was very clean and the hosts were very accommodating to letting us check in early and putting milk in the fridge and coffee pods to use.
