About this cabin rental
Beautiful new cabin located within walking distance to Henry's Lake Outlet and only a 20 minute drive to West Yellowstone! This gorgeous cabin is beautifully appointed with 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, an open loft, and a game room. The large covered deck is equipped with a BBQ grill, picnic table and a sunk in hot tub perfect for relaxing and soaking up the fresh mountain air. A handful of steps away from the cabin is a fire pit where you won’t want to pass up roasting s’mores under the stars!
The main floor has an amazing large kitchen with a 10' bar, double ovens and a large dining table that seats 8 - perfect for your family to gather around and enjoy each other's company. The living room has a propane fireplace with a big screen TV mounted above. The main floor master bedroom has a comfortable king bed with its own private entrance out to the deck. The attached master bathroom has a wonderful walk-in shower and soaker tub. The second bedroom on the main floor also has its own bathroom. Also on the main floor, just inside the front door, you'll find a mud room to hang or store all your gear and shoes. Upstairs, you'll find an open loft that overlooks the living room where you'll find a second a big screen TV. Just off the open loft area is the perfect sleeping paradise for all the cousins and grand kids - a large bedroom with 6 beds! You'll also find 2 more bathrooms and 2 more bedrooms with queen beds in the upstairs area. The basement is the perfect place to cool off, enjoy the game room and also has another bedroom, full bath and 2nd laundry.
This is a non-smoking, pet free cabin that has been immaculately taken care of and we would love the same from our guests.

This cabin backs up to forest service land and is located about 20 minutes from the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It is located on Henry's Lake Outlet, north of the Henry's Fork River. Mack's Inn is about 10 miles away and the Island Park Reservoir is about 20 miles away. Restaurants, gas stations, Island Park golf course, fishing, hunting, ATV and snowmobile trails, river rafting, horseback riding, and water sports are all just minutes away.
***Please be BEAR AWARE! Do not leave any bear attractants (food, drinks, etc) outdoors as it WILL attract wildlife. We ask that our guests become familiar with bear safety and food storage before they come to the area.

Henry's Rustic Retreat did not disappoint! We were a family group of 12, kids and adults and there was plenty of room for everyone! 2 washers and dryers came in handy. Well equipped, roomy kitchen for big family dinners. Wildlife abounds on the property. Our favorites were the moose! Hot tub was great after long days at Yellowstone NP. Ping pong and foosball were kid favorites. The only minor issue we had was with the tv in the great room. Contacted the property manager and had a brand new, enormous, 85 inch screen tv within 24 hours. Cannot say enough good things about this property!

Loved this property!! The house was great and very comfortable. Location was great. Wooded property with neighbors, but feels very private. Easy 30 min drive to Yellowstone. Tons of stuff to do nearby. We even had moose and bald eagles visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Twelve family members fit comfortably in this beautiful rustic home, 20 minutes from West Yellowstone Park entrance. Our days at the park were amazing but it was nice to come home from a long day of site seeing and hiking to a fully equipped, relaxing environment. We grilled on the patio and enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The owner quickly responded to our call when the power went out one morning. She immediately sent a crew to investigate and the power was back on within the hour. Thank you for sharing your home with us. I highly recommend making this home part of your vacation.

Our family loved staying at this cabin. It was a close drive to West Yellowstone and was steps from the Henry’s Fork River where we could fly fish and kayak. The house was very clean and well stocked with anything and everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing time! The house itself was gorgeous, well stocked, wonderfully laid out and super clean. There were 10 in our group - 7 adults and 3 teens - plenty of space for everyone. The proximity to Yellowstone was great - around 25 mins. We saw mule deer several times out the front and back windows and even saw a bull moose in the front yard on our last day. Very cool!!! We did have a fire in the fire pit one night and the kids used the hot tub one evening. Very charming! We really liked the location, but the dirt road and manual gate were a bit of a pain. Honestly, that’s the only slightly negative point about this property. We got lucky with the weather and it only felt hot upstairs one day. We got tickets to the rodeo one night (not great, but it was an experience) and did a float trip out of Mack’s Inn (highly recommend) one day. Overall one of our favorite family vacations ever.

An extra bonus was a fox coming to the back door one night and seeing two moose in the backyard the following morning! It was amazing!

We enjoyed the place. It was a perfect cabin for our family. It had everything we needed and was very clean. I love the area the cabin was located too. It was not to close to neighbors. Sharie was easy to get a hold of and made sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this place.

We reserved Henry's Rustic Retreat over a year ago and did it deliver. Our host, Sharie was excellent. She answered all our questions in a rapid manner and gave us the confidence we had the right place for the family. The roomy cabin allowed all of us to spread out but come together for evenings around the dining table or on the deck.
The quiet was beautiful and the almost daily visits from the deer was so enjoyable.
Enjoy yourself here, we did!

Memory of our Son
The property is located in the perfect location for Yellowstone Park and lots of other activities in the area. We enjoyed each day to the fullest. Sharie was the best on everything. Just a few issues with the house. The bunk room needs different beds all 6 were uncomfortable and falling down. the stools needed repairs in the kitchen. Hot tub needed water added. But its a good house and plenty of room.

The house was perfect for our trip. The kitchen is large and two people can cook at the same time. The house was very clean and comfortable. It is large enough that kids, teens, and adults all have space and don’t feel cramped. It was large enough for four families and we didn’t feel cramped at all. I think this house is above average and I will return there. There is a beautiful silver fox in the neighborhood who has a likening for leather baseball mits, other than that it was perfect.

The house was beautiful and very well supplied. Had some issues with the heating. Had a mama moose and her newborn in the front yard for most of the week, mule deer and elk in the back. We had an extended family of 13 that the house was perfect for. The hot tub felt so good!

We had 5 couples that loved the property. The guys went snowmobiling and ladies stayed warm in front of the fireplace. The hot tub was nice, the large dining table was nice, the kitchen had about everything you could need. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was clean with beautiful views. We were close in location to Yellowstone park and west Yellowstone. The property owner was very responsive. There really is nothing bad to say about this place. We will hopefully be back.

We had 10 adults and 8 children under the age of 6. The house was absolutely perfect for us in many ways. All the areas were true to size according to the pictures. Plenty of space everywhere. We would defiantly stay again!!

Was a really nice house. Loved the house and great location. Hot tub wasn't ready to use had to put chemicals in it and they were out of some property manager brought some quick after she knew. Heat in the house isn't set up the best though.

Fabulous home
We loved out stay at this home! The house was perfect and had everything we needed for our long weekend in Island Park. We loved the yard that backed up to forest and had a little room for the kids to explore. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Cabin in quiet neighborhood!
We’ve stayed at many VRBO properties and this one is definitely one we would return to. The property manager is excellent at communicating and helping when it’s needed. The kitchen is very well stocked as are the linens for the bathrooms. The cabin is very clean and tidy and we felt completely comfortable there. The access to the lake located in the neighborhood was a nice bonus. Very beautiful and serene. We made s’mores in the backyard fire pit and also used the patio, grill and hot tub. Our family enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you owners and property manager!
