Buen alojamiento con buen precio y bien situado para visita de la ciudad (2-3 días)

Establecimiento ubicado en la calle mayor de la ciudad, en frente de la casa de Cervantes. Muy buena atención del propietario, que estaba atento a todas las necesidades. La habitación era poco espaciosa para tres personas, pero las camas eran cómodas y había aire acondicionado. La terraza a la cuál teníamos acceso, te permitía disfrutar de los atardeceres y de las noches veraniegas. Limpieza exquisita. Buen precio.

El baño era compartido, aunque de tuvimos la suerte de sólo compartirlo en una única jornada de tres que estuvimos alojados. Al tener las ventanas abiertas las ventanas que daban al patio en la noche, se oían por la noche a los huéspedes alojados en las habitaciones del piso de abajo.

Perfecto para una parada de una noche.

La limpieza y la ubicación en plena calle mayor. Baño compartido reformado. Está cerca de todo, en nuestro caso el mercado Cervantino se celebraba ese día y pasaba literalmente por debajo, con tapones de oído se soluciona el posible ruido que generaba.

Nuestra habitación daba justo al lado de la cocina y la entrada, por lo que había ruido y poca intimidad (las puertas son como las de salón, con cristales pintados).

Excellent choice for stay in Alcala center, atmospheric.

The location, room and staff were excellent. We came there unplanned on a short notice and place well exceeded our expectations.

Too narrow and steep staircase, be sure you are fit when moving up baggage to your room. I have experienced similar stairs in other older buildings in Spain though.

Exceptional location! In the middle of town, everything at your reach. Lovely little historical place. Clean and comfortable. Owners very helpful and always available for your needs. Our room was just a little dark, not a direct window to the outside.

Very Pleasant Stay

The stay was overall very pleasant. The hosts were very kind and handled situations very well also offering some free snacks in the morning to share. Location was perfect, right in the centre with lovely views. Good value for money and as described.

The house is a piece of the history of Alcala and in an excellent location.

An excellent location. The guesthouse was clean and you could come and go as you wanted. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. There was no breakfast, but you could use a communal kitchen to prepare something simple for yourself. Free tea and coffee provided in the kitchen. One has to take into account that this is a guest house, not a hotel, and judge it accordingly. It is also a very ancient house (a piece of the history of Alcala itself) so it has some of the problems that old houses have in terms of condensation, steep stairs etc.

There was some noise and communication between the rooms after 11pm. There was no window or extractor fan in our bathroom so mould is building up.

When I arrived there was nobody to check in, even though I had sent them my arrival time which they confirmed. There were to telephone numbers on the door but it took at least 15 minutes before somebody picked up the phone. After that I had to wait 15 minutes more outside before somebody finally arrived.

Great value, great atmosphere in middle of everything.

Ivan was an very welcoming and accommodating host in every way. I would give an 11 for location if I could, it's directly opposite the Cervantes house and in the middle of the Calle Mayor. The room with terrace is exactly what it says: has stairs to your own private rooftop terrace, a quiet getaway with 360 degree views of the rooftops, belltowers, and active birdlife of Alcala de Henares.

Awesome heritage centrally located apartment

The location was right in the centre of Alcalá de Henares. Good connectivity to Madrid City centre by bus and train ( takes about an hour from here to the centre). The staff is unbelievably courteous and helpful. Can't thank them enough. Lots of restaurants und supermarkets nearby. Safe location. Can be a bit noisy at times but didn't bother me personally. The property is good and decently spacious.

There is only one common toilet on each floor which can be a problem.

The staff was excellent. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Its located in the heart of Alcala.

the rooms on the top floor have a slanted ceiling so if you're tall like me then you had to duck a lot
