Very nice. You can observe big lizards walking around while you have a breakfast
Sometimes you can face with insects in the room. But camon it’s Sri Lanka!

One of the best hotel stays we had experienced, everything was perfect from the staff to the property and the food was exceptional! We were taken care of by every single staff member we came across. The attention to details was above our expectations. We were also lucky enough to be there during their menu makeover and had a wonderful experience with Group Chef Sumudu whom was passionate about his menu and keen to hear feedback! Big Kudus to all the staff for making the stay enjoyable!!! Praba, Robert, Menaka and Lasitha! we truly felt a personalized touch and at home! Definitely on my list to come back here
I loved everything about this stay

Absolutely superb! Fantastic staff, food and property. The room was gorgeous with incredible views of the ocean, nice modern clean and spacious. Robert and his staff take great care of everyone. The food was top notch, and we loved meeting the chef.
Too short a stay! We are dying to return!

My son and daughter-in-law booked the Kumu Beach hotel for their wedding. What a fabulous day. Being quite a small hotel family members and best friends stayed in the hotel and others stayed near by. The size of the hotel made it an intimate gathering but the staff were excellent in their welcome of all guests over the two day period. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The facilities were lovely, comfortable, clean etc.
Nothing not to like.

From check-in to check-out this property excelled as far as level of service expected from a boutique hotel! The quality of the food and beverage were terrific (albeit marginally limited). The infinity pool, beach, and sunsets a constant reminder of the chances to relax on offer not just at the property but also in the nation of Sri Lanka.
The shades within our room were in need of refurbishment as they allowed in a bitt too much light in the mornings. Aside from this, the staff should all be commended for going well above and beyond to ensure the comfort of our stay, considering the plight of the Sri Lankan tourism industry as a result of the declining and seriously entrentcehd (if not corrupt) Rajapaksa administration.

What a special place. Lovely spacious room and beautifully pool area. The staff were so kind and welcoming, especially to our 3 year old son.
Nothing!

Food was decent and the beach and pool are nice. I also had an excellent massage.
I was expecting so much more for a hotel this expensive in Sri Lanka. It is a nice property but the service was slow and clumsy. It was often hard to find any staff when you needed something despite it being such a small property with only 10 rooms.

There’s so much to say. It’s so peaceful, the views are idyllic and the staff, food, service and facilities are remarkable.

- Location was beautiful
- The food was delicious
- The team were extremely helpful and friendly
- The team didn‘t always listen to the specific food orders and on a few occasions, brought us the wrong thing/ forgot something, or got our order muddled up. But that said, they were very friendly and always on hand!
- There wasn‘t a clear reception area and it was sometimes hard to find staff members when required
